As a recommendation from co-workers, I drove to Victoria, MN to visit this store. I purchased a Garcia SX20 reel and a Fenwick Eagle GT Rod. They are both great selections, thanks to a salesman named Matthew. When I arrived at Lake Ann to test out my new purchase, there was literally no where to park. So I went home. I couldnt figure out how to feed the line properly to attach a lure (I didnt know the line went under the bail), so I called Matthew. He was able to give me instructions over the phone and I successfully added a lure. I practiced casting in the yard. Impressive! So if you are looking for fishing equipment, Cabin Fever is the perfect place to go for friendly, helpful service (good prices, too). When you get there, tell Matthew that Melissa sent you. They guys and gals at Cabin Fever are absolutely fantastic! Whether you buy one of their bows or bring your own in that you got at a pawn shop they roll out the red carpet for you and make sure youre set up right with no extra crap you dont need. Fair pricing and excellent service. After going to another bow shop in Burnsville and hearing about their 30 for 30 deal ($30, try different bows for 30 minutes) we came to Cabin Fever and they set my wife up with a couple bows for her to try - no pressure, no cost, and personal instruction to get her shooting for the first time. We ended up ordering a Mission Menace from them. They also have a 20 yard range - $5 for an hour. You really cant beat that. They also do lessons, paper tuning...anything you would ever need. Cant say enough good things about them.

absolutely superb. while they may not have the selection of some of the larger box stores (some call it selection, i might call it stuff you dont need) however the staff here is remarkable. Pete in the archery department is arguably one of the best in the state and is extremely patient and willing to explain anything and everything you might have. i recently purchased a Mathews bow from them and within the first 20 minutes, Pete got me setup/lined up/tuned up and i "Robin Hood" my first arrow, ever..in my 6 years of shooting a bow! look no further than Cabin Fever for any of your outdoor sporting needs.

Just left Cabin Fever. It was the greatest experience I have ever had at a bow / sport shop. I got a new bow from a different source and needed a peep and some help setting it up. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was a perfect and they did it with a smile. I interacted with 4 different people and everyone of them was overly nice and knowledgeable. Great place and I am a customer for life.

2 out of 3 experiences were bad. What makes a bow shop is customer service. Everyone has product. I bumped my drop away when double checking that it was snug before a 3 day hunt. They told me they couldnt promise they would have time the following day to check my arrow for level. Literally a 3 min job. Helping a customer with something this small makes a customer forever and vise versa.

I was really excited going to go buy a new shotgun. For the inexperience gun buyers I would say they are rude and not excited to sell you a new gun. Seem like they are extremely busy and would rather be closed during regular business hours to keep up with demand. Honestly it ruined my first experience buying a new shotgun. Will definitely do more research next time.

Just had then setup my 8yr olds Mathews Mission Menace bow and they were awesome! But staff members who helpd us were extremely knowledgeable and patient with her first time, highly impressed. Never felt pressured or rushed (despite it being quite busy) I dont see us shopping anywhere else for her archery needs. Great local shop.

A little slow at the gun desk, and it seemed they werent interested in helping. Ive purchased A lot from here and never had any issues. Usually great guys. Ill try somewhere else this time, but I like to buy from the smaller guys.

Would never bring my bow to this place again. They tied my rest in wrong, used the wrong peep tubing, and with less than 50 arrows through new strings there is a bad wear spot already!
