Just awful. I took my bike to these guys cause no other place had the starter I needed for my 84 CB700 so I just told them to put in a new starter. Then 2 weeks later they finally called me with an estimate for some $3,500! I shouldve known something was up but I told them just to replace the starter and my helicoil problem that I apparently had (among the list of other things was a new set of tires, which I had just got installed a week before I took it to them, an oil change because the "oil level didnt even register on the dipstick" after I literally just did an oil change, and a bunch of other crap so that they could suck the money out of me). Anyways, so I paid for the starter and helicoil job and another month later they finally called me back saying they "fixed" it but the bike wasnt running and if I wanted to I could spend another $100 to get it rediagnosed even though they were certain that the top end needed to be rebuilt. So I told them I simply couldnt afford to drop another $2,100 on my bike, Im a student, and picked up my bike. One thing I did notice though is that they switched the spark plug wires around were firing at the wrong time <- source of "engine trouble"? The wires were even marked incorrectly so that they know they would screw it up. And on top of that, their customer service is terrible. Lance was the guy I was trying to get my estimate sorted out with and he couldnt believe I didnt like his first estimate of $3,500 and then proceeded to screw up the next 2 estimates he gave me after I deliberately told him what I wanted. Then when I went to go pick up my bike, I did it before class, so I went to the shop when it opened. The owner didnt show up for at least 30 min after it opened and his reasoning was that he was so incredibly hung over. And then the mechanics took another 20 min trying to find my bike after I called the day before saying I would be in to pick it up. My advice: Only go to this place if you have no other option, actually, no. DONT ever go to this place for motorcycle repair. Youre are probably more capable at fixing your vintage bike yourself as long as you can find the parts for it. Edit: After reading the owners statement, he has addressed nothing. After sitting unrun for 1 winter and reading countless forums about my "no compression issue," I finally found someone who said that my wires to cylinders 2/3 were switched (2/3 were the newly helicoiled cylinders). Once I got this fixed the bike fired right up. I also checked got the compression checked at Hitching Post Motorsports FOR FREE! And they sid compression was fine across all cylinders! Also a little note to the owner about the "hungover" thing. I am a sober student thank you very much and do not appreciate people assuming that all students drink. All because I go to college doesnt mean I get drunk. That is extremely disrespectful and I am deeply offended. I also know that the owner was hungover because he explicitly stated as he was unlocking the front door that he had gone to a party or something the night before and was complaining about having to come in so early. Still avoid this shop at all costs!

When looking for a place to repair my scooter, I really wanted to find something local and independent. A place where I could feel good about taking my machine because I knew Id be working with individuals who are passionate about what they do, and seeing my money go to hard working independent people. I took it in and asked for a tune up, and also wanted them to take a look at why the engine kept killing on me. I said that if they could diagnose the problem, they should call me with an estimate and if it sounded reasonable I would have them fix it. I also mentioned that the speedometer doesnt work. I got a call a few days later saying that the "work was done" (curious because they hadnt called me about what the start up problem was) and that they couldnt fix the speedometer problem because they couldnt find the necessary part. I came back to the shop to pick up the scooter only to find that it had not yet been reassembled. Then I stood and waited as I could hear the agonizing noises of them trying to start what I thought was someone elses machine. It turned out that it was mine (although I didnt realize it until later), and although it was obvious it needed more work, they didnt say anything to me. They rolled it out, I paid for what I thought was a suspiciously low amount for the work I thought they did, and then left with the scooter. I didnt even get out of the parking lot. I rolled it back and found out that they did not perform a tune up after all and had not checked to see what the start-up problem was. The only thing that they had followed up on was seeing if they could fix the speedometer. They had lost my work order so there was no record of what Id asked them to do. The man I spoke with at the register I could tell was working himself up emotionally probably expecting me to get argumentative with him. I told him that I didnt care what had happened, but that I just wanted them to get the work done and left it at that. To their credit, one of the guys there, who I assumed was the owner said they could try to get the work done extra quickly. Eventually they did diagnose and fix the problem, but it took an extra week of waiting for them to complete the job. I hope that if the owner reads this comment that he wont dismiss it. There is a way out of this. If you have some extra cash, you might want to get in touch with a third-party consultant to just look at your business systems, and maybe do some coaching around communication with your team. It would require some initial investment, but it may well mean the end to bad reviews for your business, more repeat customers, and a saner working environment for you and your staff. Just think about it. You guys obviously care about what you do.

my experience with this dumb people started with my GF bringing her scooter to be fixed, they took the scooter and gave us a paper that says that willbe a 89 usd for a diagnose, they called like 2 weeks after that and said that she was already at more than 400 dollars in labor, she asked why and they said that they charged $89 per hour for the diagnose, that was the first red flag for me, and I told my GF to find another place, but she insisted that because they sell this kind of scooters will not be another better place to fix it or know better, after 3 months of waiting and trying to figure it out, they only called us once to say that they needed to fix one more part for the scooter and that because the warehouse that this particular manufacturer was burned down and the only place they could get parts will be from Canada but they cant import them because customs will not allowed them.... (that actually sounded to weird for me to believe) but my GF continued to deal with this people and agreed to have a carb cleaned.... they said that they will call her when they were done, 2 weeks later Jeff callled her and left her a voice mail, saying that either she picks up her scooter in 7 days or they will put a lien on it.... she called back and this guy Jeff was like " oh I got your attention and got you to called me back, and then he continued to scream and said that they were not a storage facility and that if she has problem paying them they will take the scooter away.... but first of all, we never had a problem paying for this, although I believed that was overpriced, but you have to pay for what you agreed, I seriously think that this guy Jeff needs some customer service skills, he told me when I called that he doesnt care about their customers, they only care to get the money of what they work for.... if you have the choice never go there... if they dont care about their customers they shouldnt get business.... my revenge was to pay them all in coins.... silent satisfaction watching them counting coins for like an hour
