Sadly the once great "Sears" is now a joke. You cannot get anyone on the phone at this store. When you do, they tell you they have items that they do not -wasting your time. No one is accountable for wrong information or for wasting your time. Sears parts direct is even worse! The store directed me to them after wasting my time and gas on a part they swore they had was in fact not in the store after all. Then I spent 75 minutes with Sears parts direct tracking down the precise part I needed and spent $60 to have the parts mailed. a week and half later the parts arrived and they are USELESS! Again I call the store, after 5 attempts someone finally pickups up (in mens apparel) they promptly hang up on me (I was not mad at all with the person on the phone). I call back and finally get a manager. Good hands? Not really, She did not even know to apologize for the time her store wasted. She would not give me the district managers number either but said she would refer this "up". Well I did get a call from someone claiming to be a District manager for sears named Michael who said he would handle my issue and call me back because he was driving. He never called back and it has been 24 hours and I have left 2 voicemails. -Still out $60, Still waiting for someone at sears to step up and own this issue. -SUPER FRUSTRATED!

If I could rate a 0, I would. The level of dysfunction and unhelpfulness is appalling. The store has no ability to be helpful with online orders. The online orders show items to be in stock when theyre not. It promises delivery dates that change after your order is placed. Today, I finally receive an email that my item was in stock. Given how much trouble Ive had to this point, I wanted to call the store to confirm it was actually available for pick up. I made 12 calls between 8:39pm and 8:58pm. No one would answer the phone. I tried merchandise pick up, customer service, and lawn and garden. At 8:58pm someone finally answered the phone in lawn and garden but they couldnt lookup the order so they were going to transfer me to merchandise pick up. I explained that no one there answered the phone for the last 20 minutes. The employee actually physically walked to merchandise pick up. When he got there, they refused to look up my order because it was after 9pm. The incredible lack of customer service was eye-opening. Once I am actually able to pick up my item, it will be the last time I ever have any interaction with Sears.

Repair: It was $ 80 for the call plus labor, as the water heater warranty actually only covers parts. Not good, but we need hot water that is not leaking everywhere. I came home from work, waited for service to finish. He came upstairs with his computer and the total $169.00. Payed with debit card (No wonder he would not take a check - I would have canceled). After payment, repairman says oh, btw, it still leaks but water heaters do that, run a hose from the relief valve directly to a drain to keep basement dry. That is NOT fixed! Warranty on receipt says good for 90 days. Multiple calls and e-mails ... receipt says replaced a thermocouple. He said he reset computer too. (How as he had no tools, only a laptop, and made no trips outside for parts or tools). Repair warranty only covers what he fixed (which is NOTHING). Now the service call to show up will be $99. WHY THE INCREASE? Internet searches show that this is the standard to cheat customers. Please dont fall for this!

We went on Memorial Day 2015. we were looking at dishwashers and the sales people didnt even know we existed. Oh yeah they were there in a knot at a sales desk, but they couldnt get off of their fat rumps to greet us or ask if we needed assistance. In fact one of them did walk right past us and kept on going. If we werent buying a big ticket Item it wouldnt have been a problem, but these people obviously couldnt have cared less. To bad. they might have had a sale but we d like a friendly greeting at least if were going to plunk down a large chunk of change. We went to Best Buy because we knew wed get more than a friendly smile. I mean they went the extra mile to greet us and help us out. Sears you suck

Worst ever phone Service. I called five times and got the robot. I wanted to speak to a sales person in appliances to buy a wall oven. First call transferred me but it rang many times and then cut me off. The second call transfered me to jewelry and I got a recorded message. The third call again sent me to jewelry and again got a recorded message. The forth call I asked for Customer Service and again was sent to jewelry and again got recorded message. The fifth call was the same as the forth call. I then called Best Buy and ordered a wall oven and micro wave combo costing me over $5,000. Sears should save us people all the grief and just go out of business.

The worst - ordered a lawn mower wheel shown in-stock. Selected expedited delivery. Found out soon after it was backordered more than a week. Cancelled order 3 times over the phone requesting my money returned. They said it was "pending" for over a week. Wake up today and see a shipping notification for 1-day air of said part? Great - 2.5 weeks later after I order it from elsewhere I not only am out $35 and more than an hour of time, but I now have to return this part and try to get my money back. Is this even legal? I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE UTILIZE SEARS FOR ANY SERVICE. RECOMMEND OTHERS DO THE SAME. Maybe Sears is run by a utility company?

1) You cant call the store and speak to someone. You get redirected to multiple automated systems. 2) I go alky got a hold of a real person in a call center. I wanted to get a craftsmen chain saw serviced. I was directed to the closest sears that supposively provided this service and the connected me to the same automated messaging service previously described. 3) I went to the referenced sears location only to find out the did not service chainsaws in that location. Instead I needed to drive 25 miles to another location. In summary, Sears deserves to go out of business ASAP.

Made a pick up and pay in store online order for this store (Ridgedale). Although the staff was friendly, their store pick up system is absolutely broken. No one there knew what they were doing. A similar pick up at Target takes 5 min. At this Sears: 35 min. Absolutely horrible. This is my third crappy experience with Sears in the last year. Wont ever be back.

It is a simple concept they dont understand: answer the phone and I will come spend money there. If you dont answer your phone, I go elsewhere. When I made the guy tell me where he was (not in my state) he hung up on me. Funny thing is, I called the local number which was supposed to go to the store at Ridgedale.
