Just to start this off right I dont like this Red Wing shoe store. The first thing youll hear when entering the empty store is the Jesus music the owner is blasting. Strike one. Their selection is very minimal, which I would attribute to the fact that this particular store/owner is under contract with several local public sector agencies to dispense safety toe boots as per their respected voucher systems. Basically, if you see a style of Red Wing boot you like online they, more likely than not, dont have them. If youre wondering how a place like this stays in business; where the owner sits around making fishing lures all day, comes off as a really pushy know-it-all, and will try to convince you to get something that you probably dont want all the while pushing his right-wing agenda that the foreign/Asian made boots are of superior quality to the USA made boots; its because of the public sector contracts, which he will likely brag about. If youre spending your own money look elsewhere; even if youre spending a voucher that your union fought for you to get Id still look elsewhere. I will be doing so my next contract year.

4 stars only because I have only had them for a week and have no idea what my long term experience may be- Great and helpful sales guys in the store. Small problem with my first pair- this was 99% my own fault. They stepped up, (no pun intended) and replaced the pair under the 30 day "test drive". Made it easy. Are they as comfortable as my favorite pair of broken in sneakers on a Saturday afternoon? Nope. But the boots have broken in nicely in a week, and are easy on the feet for 8+ hrs in the shop. Picked up some arch insoles that were about $50 bucks, and between these and the boots, my feet are happier at work than they have ever been. Nice to be able to work the shift and walk away at the end of the day ready for more.

Walked in to the store as it was approaching closing time. Mind you, I am quick to make a show selection. My companion said "well make it quick." The storekeeper actually said "well youre here now," as he went about his vacuuming task. We promptly left as we did not NEED to be in the unappreciative fellas store. Put a bad taste in my mouth for the brand. Poor reception at the door equals no desire to buy your product. I bet that store is super dooper clean though. Back to your vacuuming DB!

Red wing boots. This is a work boot store, not a fashion store. You want trendy fashion boots, go buy yourself some Dr. Martians or whatever is in style now at DSW. If you work for a living, and need some real boots, this is a good place to go. They keep track of your previous purchases and shoe size, but they wont hesitate to measure your size anytime, making sure the boots you buy will fit you properly.

I have read the reviews about this store, and I wholeheartedly disagree. I have been taking my business there for years. The products are top notch, and the manager is not only a pleasure to work with, but has been very workable with resolving any issues I have had. Dont let one persons opinion stop you from coming to a store that I have found to be great in both customer service and products.

Bored sales person. I brought in my old boots, they didnt have them so the sales person ordered them online for me; I could have done that myself if redwing would let me. Whats the point? Its not like I was refitted. Very expensive, but very high quality boots. However, I will do a little research and comparison shopping next time before blindly buying from redwing again.

I wear nothing but Red Wings, from work boots, to casual shoes, to slippers and even socks! I go to this location, not because it is the closest but because of the owner! I have known him for about 28 years. I first met him at his University Ave location and have followed him here. He is very knowledgeable and not pushy at all! I wouldnt consider going anywhere else!

I cant believe how bad the customer service was I almost called the store the next day to make a complaint it was such a bad experience maybe it was that it was 45 minutes to closing time but thats still not a good reason to not want to be helpful to me especially since I was the only customer in the store!

Not sure what the deal is with the negative reviews, but I have been buying work boots here for years, and have never had anything but great service. The store is very clean, the staff is very helpful. And as to returns, Ive even had excellent service with returns.. No problems with this store at all..

Stopped by the store today to pick up new laces for my Red Wing Irish Setter boots and another pair of laces for boots that are not from Red Wing. I was quickly given new laces and asked how much do I owe. I was told that there is no charge. Excellent customer experience. Thank you.

Great service and selection. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and went the extra mile to help me get exactly what I wanted. They even put a coat of boot oil on them to help darken them for me. My my my these boots are comfortable.

I got help fast with only two people working and 5 customers! In and out less than 20 minutes... i wish they had more of a selection of womens steal toe boots but other than that they helped me out, we love our redwings!! Very comfortable!!
