I had a horrible experience there just Sunday. I knew the exact model of Birkenstocks that I wanted to purchase. I entered wearing Birkenstocks. The male attendant was super nice, pointed me to the model I wanted. I told him what size I was and he got the shoes for me. I tried them on and then another sales attendant started debating with me and the other attendant that they shoes were the wrong size for me, that I needed to size down. Never mind that I was wearing size 38. Im a 7.5 and 38 is the Euro equiv to that. All my Danskos are 38s -- even my cycling shoes are 38s. But she insisted they fit wrong even though they felt fine as I walked around the store. I ignored her for a while, but right before I was going to purchase them, I tried them on one last time and I kept getting a dirty look from her. I finally asked, "Are you not buying it?" And she said snottily, "Well, *Ive* just never seen them fit that way." At that point, Id had enough of her attitude. I told her Id think about it. I went home and then found the same pair for $25 less on Zappos. I guess I should thank Shoesters because I certainly got a better deal on the shoes that I was almost ready to buy if it werent for her attitude.

Ive stopped into this store a number of times. I agree that they have an excellent selection of very nice, high quality shoes. My only complaint, and I write this partly so that the store might read the review and change this, is that they dont put prices on the shoes. I tend to go to this store, then go home and find the shoes online where I can directly compare prices of different shoes and decide what I want.

The staff was very service oriented; sizing and subsequent fittings were comfortably professional. I appreciated the bright faces, genuine advice (Asked about Birkenstocks and biking), and willingness to help. Cleanliness is another positive proposition this space provides St. Paul shoe seekers.

Amazing service and fantastic selection of comfort shoes that are also attractive looking. Its pricey, but theres a reason for that. If foot and body alignment health is something you wish to invest in, heres the place to do so.

I went looking for comfortable shoes to fit my swollen 35 week pregnant feet and was greeted with great suggestion and smiles! I walked out with shoes I love, that actually fit!

The staff were all very friendly and patient with me while I tried on over a dozen different pairs of black shoes. Nice little shop. Selection of shoes is amazing.
