I was long overdue to get some new bras and I thought it would be good to go to a place that is a specialty store so I went to Allure in Maple Grove. The salesperson was very sweet. She took my measurements and brought me a bra that seemed about 3 sizes too small in the band. When I asked her about this, she said it would have some give. I then asked to try on something the next up and she said this should be the correct size. I bought 4 bras for a cost of about $300. Two of them had to be sent to me as they didnt have them in stock. I then went home and tried on the ones I brought home and they were so uncomfortable I couldnt wear them. I took one of them back and exchanged it for a different size. I then took another one back and exchanged it for a different size. Eventually, exchanged three of the 4 bras and I should have returned them all. They were still VERY tight and uncomfortable but I thought they would give a little more than they did. It is now 3:30 in the afternoon and it feels like my ribs are breaking as this thing is so tight and I know there is probably nothing I can do about it because I have exceeded their very clearly stated return policy. The bras themselves are lovely and well made. The sales clerk was very sweet but I dont think she works much with overweight older ladies. I think if I could get one that fits me better, I would like them. So I am not sure I would go back. Maybe next time I will try Soma.

Little spendy, and NO RETURNS PLEASE REMEMBER AND LISTEN TO THE SALE TERMS!!!... but when you get the fantastic service its pretty worth it. The fitting is wonderful. The nursing bra I purchased is super comfy, wish I could have afforded another in a second color, but alas. Less thrilled with my sports bra purchase... band felt WAY too tight, and though I was assured it is supposed to be that way, I went ahead and exchanged one size up. Now I am still spilling out the top... may just not be the right type of sports bra for me. HOWEVER! Despite being WAY outside my 30day exchange policy, and it being worn a time or two, Sasha here at Allure just told me to come on in and they will help me figure it out. AWESOME! I then told her Id called the bra manufacturer, and had "permission" to return and to have Allure call them if there is any issue, but with the level of service Allure provides I am 100% willing to see what else we can try first and only get a refund as a last resort. Thank you Sasha! See you soon!

Purchased an $85 bra within weeks the bra started to fall apart. I went to the store to see about a replacement and was given several excuses as to why it was my fault it was falling apart. When I asked what they could do for me, the only thing I was told was that they could send it to a tailor, but that would cost me more money. I asked about a refund or an exchange and was told that it was outside of their 14 day refund policy. Such a disappointment because I had thought I finally found a place that truly fits you, but I will never go back after this experience. UPDATE: After posting this review and emailing the bra manufacturer, I received a follow-up email from the owner who asked for photos of the bra so she could evaluate what I stated. Once it was determined that it was a faulty bra and not a result of something I had done, I was granted a replacement bra on the contingency that I return my original bra and change this review.

Without exception, the best bra fitting Ive ever experienced. Its no longer a dreaded task. I wish I had visited Allure long ago. That being said, Im very impressed with the selection of beautiful, comfortable, and high quality apparel. The customer service alone is worth making Allure your go-to place for bras. Tessa is fantastic. At my fitting she asked what I was looking for, took my measurements, and expertly selected pieces that fit perfectly and looked amazing. On my second visit (a very busy weekend afternoon) she assisted me and several other customers with such cordial regard and ease that I never felt rushed or neglected. Also, your information is kept on file along with your sizing, preferences and items you like can be put on your "wish list" so that dont have to remember what you tried on - you can simply return and purchase them at a later date.

I originally went into Allure about a year ago for a fitting, intending to buy only one or two bras. I was so impressed with the service Mary provided, as well as the incredible selection of sizes and styles of beautiful bras. Its the first time Ive ever been to a store that actually stocks my size. Imagine my surprise when after trying on numerous styles and sizes, I actually had several styles to choose from that fit perfectly! I ended up buying five or six, along with several pair of matching panties. Ive since lost over 55 pounds and been back for two more fittings during that time. The staff is happy to make suggestions and will not quit until they find exactly the right size in whatever style Im looking for. I will definitely go back, in fact I wont shop anywhere else when I want or need new lingerie.

I just had my first official bra fitting and got into the right size bra. I went in to have them check it and get some more bras since I was now down to one. The staff was knowledgeable and respected my modesty when trying on. I learned about proper bra care and left with not one but three bras and panties. I have never felt comfortable with my ladies but Allure made me empowered and without back pain. Please ladies go here! I am a 38DDD/E not only are their bras good quality but they had bras to make every woman feel confident. The next time Im back Im bringing my mom in to experience Allure.

I had a bilateral mastectomy in December and needed to see where I was at in terms of cup size during the reconstruction phase. I wasnt aware that I arrived just 15 minutes before closing, but Tessa was absolutely wonderful. She knew I wasnt ready to purchase a bra yet, but was pleasant, very understanding and extremely helpful. I will return when the time is right! Thank you.

These guys have really high quality bras. I went in there looking to have a fitting and to find the perfect fitting bra and the worker was very helpful. What stood out to me most was the fact that a week after my purchase, I received a hand written thank you card for visiting them. That makes the difference. A couple months later, bra is still good, not stretched or worn at all.

I had a great experience as a first timer at Allure! I got fit & measured into a proper size of bra, service was awesome & the ladies here are very helpful. If youre currently getting your bras anywhere else, you most likely are in the wrong size. I highly recommend checking this place out!!! My girls will now be happy forever thanks to Allure :)
