If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Its so disappointing too because my family has been coming here for years, and I mean years, since I was 15 (Im now 29). Recently they had a change in staff to the restaurant portion, that happens, and is expected but what I dont expect is that for 20 min they shut down the restaurant. I completely and fully understand that the staff need lunch, I do work so I know everyone needs to take breaks. What I cannot fathom, though, is why they ALL need to take lunch at the exact same time?? AND why its not at a consistent time?? I could understand if at 2:30pm everyday the kitchen staff takes a 20 min lunch but this is not the case for these bright human beings. My family and I have gone in a minimum of 3 times during 1:15pm-3:30pm to get lunch when theyve taken their 20 min lunch break. And honestly, it wouldnt bother me so much if they werent so damn rude. Seriously. By far the most rude, angry people on the face of the earth. You are lucky if you get acknowledged. What really ticked me off was that we were looking at the menu, planning to just walk around for a little bit when one of the old hags shoo-ed me with her hand. She shoo-ed me like I was a stray dog. I hadnt said a word, I was just looking at the menu. I cannot even begin to tell you how irate I was. I used to love going there with my mom, it was always a culture trip but ever since their new staff in the kitchen came, I have hated everything about that place. If the food wasnt good, and it wasnt within 5 miles of my house, I would surely never come back. My advice: take lunch breaks on different shifts OR take a 20 min break at the same time everyday (consistency) and NOT during lunch hours 11:30-2:00pm. Could you imagine if someone drove an hour plus to come eat lunch and the rude kitchen staff were just sitting down to take their 20 min lunch, they dont acknowledge you or better yet, they shun you? Well imagine it because at the same time that we were there, a lady had drove from north of St Cloud to come eat lunch. What a shame for a business to treat people like their time and money mean nothing. I have had this happen to us numerous times but the most recent had me boiling to the point that I needed to write a review. I will continue to find ways to let people know how the service is at this place. Seriously Dong Yang, shame on you. Perhaps some day you will have business etiquette.

Great selection of products/food to buy in this grocery department. The cashier is super nice and always greets with a smile and hello. Now, the deli section on the other hand is different. Theres pros and cons. I love it that its a self-service area and if you want just water and hot water/tea, its readily available. When youre done, if you need a box to go please help yourself as well. But as for the service, I do have to say that it doesnt matter if you are in a rush or not, if you are efficient or not. Rudeness is rudeness. I, myself am Asian and yet I feel the rudeness as well. I think if youre in the food business, you need to be nicer. Once, I selected a dish to go, the lady said ok, rang me up and as soon as I sat down, she said "hey you, what you order, impossible cant be to go, only here. " I just said ok, and changed my order quickly. The food are great and I love Korean food so I dont have much of a choice but to go there despite the rude ladies. The dining area is fairly ok, it depends on when you are there. It does fill up fast if youre going during rush hour.

I really like it here. Lots of snacks and foods. The food at the restaurant is AMAZING (Why Im giving a 5 star review!) Now.. The staff at the restaurant section could improve their customer service. I always feel like Im doing something wrong if I ask them for a request... even if its a simple one. I told the lady that was taking my order that I wanted a number 2 on the menu (dont remember what it was)... she then tells the cooks in the back (in korean) that I wanted 2 meals. I understood her and I dont think she knew I understood korean. I immediately told her nicely, "Oh no. Im sorry. I only wanted 1 meal. Not 2." She then gives me this look like I ruined her day and then yells to the cooks in the back (in korean) "she only wants 1 meal!!! Why the heck would she tell me she wants 2?!" I was stunned that she got mad at me for misunderstanding me. However, despite this incident, I still come here till this day but I guess it just depends on who is taking your order and checking you out. Ive had good friendly staff in the past... and I guess this time I had a bad one.

I only gave them two stars because the deli staff, the one who takes your order and payment is very rude. She doesnt even look at you to acknowledge youre there or even say something as simple as, "Well be right with you" before turning away from you and letting you stand there forever like a dumbass. If I didnt like their food so much Id never go there. That lady is grouchy and will snatch the card from your hand, not hand you back your receipt and walk away from you. They are so mean. Im not expecting excellent customer service like some fancy dine in restaurant Im just asking to be treated kindly with respect. Its not like were not paying for the food. Theres no need to be as mean as they are to customers.

Worst place ever!!!! Dont even eat here!!!! I would give them a negative zero star but I cant! First, the place is not even clean and the lady who worked in the front counter act so rude. They start to speak in their own language when the customer do a mistake. Which happens to be us, when our other food were ready, she just ring the bell and gave us a rude ass look instead of calling our number. Also when I went to go grab it, she decided to just throw the bowl on the counter very rudely without any tray. Never ever coming back here again!!! Worst restaurant ever! If youre looking for a better and nicer restaurant, go to Korea restaurant in Minneapolis, near the U of M, twin cities.

Quick and always busy, I love what they have to eat and sell good deal prices for great food. Its very hard for me to go all the way there just to get the right ingredients to cook. Because I live a good 1 1/2 hour drive there and to get the snacks that my boys love and etc. I love cooking Korean food and making Korean desserts. And they have all that I love to eat and cook with, its very hard to find a great place, and I recommend this place. But there are a lot of pot holes in the parking area, do mind that. Staff are welcoming and great atmosphere.
