This particular store rakes in the money because of its location. But that doesnt necessarily mean they use that additional revenue to staff enough cashiers or maintain the self-checkout machines. Lines are always ridiculously long and I dont think Ive ever been in the store when at least one of the four self-service machines wasnt down and there have been many times when two or three of the four were out. The store is supposedly 24 hours, but not really. Living in West End, we often shop late, like around 1am, after walking home from a night out. On a recent Friday, five aisles were actually taped off and filled with soapy water which was giving off a serious chemical odor through the store. We were unable to complete half of our grocery list! Seriously, five #$%^ aisles! This has happened to us before so it is not an anomaly. Why five at a time? Cant you consider even one or two at a time? Why inconvenience your customers to that degree? What if someone had actually taken the time to drive in just to be screwed over by an incredible lack of common sense? if I could give zero stars, I would have.

I only come to this store if Im right next to it at the time. Otherwise I avoid it. I would rather drive into downtown and shop at Lunds and pay a 10% premium for a FAR better experience. This Cub is mediocre at best. I know this is a minor issue for most people, but there is NEVER a supply of baskets at the entrance. I shop for myself several days a week (usually elsewhere). I dont need a huge cart to pick up a few items. But inevitably, I have to literally search the store to try and find a hand basket 4 out of 5 times I visit this miserable place. And why the hell does Cub have 18 checkout stands when never more than 3 are open??? And if you go here, be grateful when all of the measly 4 self-checkout machines are functioning. Im not exaggerating when I say that I have spent far more time waiting in line than I have spent shopping. Seriously, HEY CUB! ARE YOU LISTENING? Why dont you just convert all of your unused checkout lanes to self-service ones??? GAH! Why is this so obvious to consumers yet so oblivious to Cub management?

Staff was SOOOO unhelpful and fairly rude to me. They were incompetent and it made shopping really hard. I was looking for a product and was told over the phone that Cub carried it. When I arrived I couldnt find it. I asked for help and they rudely told me that they did not sell the product I was looking for. I mentioned the staff member from the phone call who told me they had it, and they scoffed and said that it was MY mistake. Eventually another customer found it for my (after overhearing my discussion with the employee). I showed the product to both employees that told me it wasnt in the store and they said I didnt explain myself very well and that "of course they carried that product." Overall - extremely condescending to me and will not return to this store.

Most of my experiences have been positive. I am happy to shop here, and I especially like their pharmacy staff. However, I have two complaints that I hope they will respond to, the first is that the bakery is frequently unstaffed (nobody there to deal with the public), and the second is that they gave up making their own sushi and are getting flavorless stuff from an outside supplier. Or maybe they just switched suppliers in which case they should switch back.

I miss my rainbow foods. At least I did not have to worry about checking the dates of food like cub foods. I am glad they kept most of the old employees some of the new ones are seriously dumb. How can one not count out change?? And they one guy with he horrendous body odor come on seriously people do not want to smell that when they are trying to shop for food. I will not be back to this location

This cub is often out of the products we want. When items are on sale and they ring up wrong even though the cashiers sees the item on sale in the ad. It is questioned by the cashier. Produce is often bad will not purchase deli does not keep chicken both fried and roitessee stocked close to meal time. Have been driving to Hy Vee for groceries and will continue to do so. Much better store.

I went to the Cub. in St Louis Park and was disrespected by the guy that helps you when you want to buy fresh fish I was standing waiting for him to come from the back to wait on me he came out didnt see me he only saw a white woman that came after me he didnt even ask who was next today in 2017 race is still a big and number one priority to White people so sad when God made us all

Overcrowded, inconsistent food quality, and not enough cashiers. More than once got bad food I had to return. Safe, but poor quality food such as freezer-burned frozen chicken is just marked down and sold at a sale price. Produce is sometimes good, sometimes very bad. As far as Cubs go, this ones actually pretty good. Just cant stand Cub. I miss Rainbow.

I stopped into the liquor store tonight looking for small gift and was helped by John B. (according to my receipt- I didnt see his name tag as it was flipped backwards). He was seriously THE NICEST person ever. He was super friendly and helpful. I know I will stop at that Cub Foods more often just because of his service. Thanks for being awesome, John B.!

One of the nicer Cubs, is also new to the area. Almost like a Lunds with Cub prices. Caters to a higher end younger shopper. Separated wine and spirits section, well laid out and visually inviting. Very convenient, when youve been out and about, to drop in and get a few necessary items.

Ive shopped Cub for 15+ years and Ive never dealt with a "Team" with this kind of Attitude. More often than not the people are overly curtious this management team the opposite :( Im not sure if it was a anti-christian thing or what but this store has lost my business

Location is nice, prices are okay BUT dislike the way manager at this location treat his staffs, never in my life have i met such a rude guy, thats probably why the turn over rate is so high at this location ONLY. Lets get it together West End Cub Foods.

Selection and prices are okay (not competitive but reasonable), but the parking lot is awful. Its hard to see other cars coming, and its complicated to get to if you dont know where youre going already. This review would be 4 stars if not for that.

Wonderful Produce. Friendly Staff. Clean Establishment. Bike Friendly. I moving in 2 weeks so I asked a employee if they had any free boxes; which he replied how many do I want :) (I revived 20 nice moving boxes). Amazing Customer Service!!!!!

A very clean, popular, busy place. Parking can be difficult. The store has great selection; however, I think some of the prices are higher then the Cub foods in Champlin where we typically shop.
