Eden Prairie Center mall has "Ghetto" look and feel. It is a dangerous place for shoppers as this Mall does not appear to have public safety information and created anti-civil practices. The mall does not have any rules of conduct and power hungry security guards are always looking to humiliate someone over made up reasons. The mall management supports such practices and most likely develops them. There are several occasions when people were assaulted by the security guards over returning defective items, singing Christmas songs or video recording for peaceful YouTube channels as "Mall Rats" was filmed there . (search google and YouTube to see what I am talking about) I was there once and my experience can contribute to the above, Local police and local government also supports humiliating practices initiated by this mall. That means you will always be "lonely citizen against the system". Some strange things are happening there considering the fact the malls are dying. Shop at Amazon and live happy life.

Confused about all the reviews saying good store selection?? There are literally no stores. No Macys, bloomies, Nordtrom etc. No makeup stores like Sephora, nothing high end or trendy except von maur which is overpriced, empty and staff is rude. Place is like a ghost town. They need to add more stores or close down. Only thing this place is good for is an area for people to walk when its cold or rainy. Or the occasional kid can take a choo choo ride on the little motorized train. There are a couple of mediocre/good restaurants, for ppl who like chain food places, connected to the outside of the mall & Target is connected so thats nice but those places arent actually part of the mall itself. The lack of #s of shoppers says it all. Think there is a Gap, Journeys, Express, bath & body works & the buckle (and the latter couple of those havent had good shopping since probably 2008) Take a 6 min drive to Southdale instead.

I wish that I could give this mall no stars. The mall is quick to kick you out for the simplest thing. I was cursed out by a mall employ and when the security came, they told me to shut up to hear her side. Kicked me out for a whole year all because I wanted to return an $8 skirt that didnt fit me. She wouldnt return the skirt and refused and kicked us out of the store all because I asked one simple question as to why she needed 2 credit cards, an id, and a piece of mail. Are you kidding? They should have written indefinitely on the no trespass form because I will never set foot and spend my hard earned money in this mall ever again. Not that this mall cares but after me and my family were treated. NO WAY!!!

Its a great family mall. You have just about everything you would need. It is not Mall Of America, so dont expect all the variety of shops that you would find there. Grab a book at Barnes and Nobels. Do your everyday shopping at Target. Sports store, clothing, etc. Getting tired after shopping, watch a movie at the renovated movie theater. Reclining seats add a new dimension to the watching experience. For families, the family restrooms are great for running in with a couple of kids. The kids corner allow the young ones to stretch their legs, especially in the winter.

This mall is very well maintained. It has a lot of promise, but cannot compete with nearby malls such as Southdale, MOA or even Knollwood, which are within fifteen-twenty minutes by car. They struggle to keep their large stores from leaving. Store turnover is high, even for a mall in this online shopping age. The food court is weak, however there are several additional options surrounding the mall at the edge of the parking lot. If Target and/or movie theater ever decided to leave, the mall would probably cease to exist.

Very nice place, the indoor climbing park is extensive and just big enough that adults can make it through without killing themselves - unlike some other climbing parks. There is a small spot for really small kids but mostly suited to 3-9 year olds with some pretty fast slides actually. The little gym and bouncy house are great and always busy because of all the scooters and stuff they have.

The EP mall has done better than most when it comes to staying relevant, and there are a few stores that will actually entice me to go inside (vs Southdale or MOA which I avoid). But I still prefer to buy the things I want online, because dragging shopping bags through crowds of slow moving strangers on the long trek back to the car is just not necessary.

Kids like coming here for play area, kids rides, kids train, etc Play area great for up to about age 6. We like getting chair massages and browsing books at Barnes and Noble. Kids eat free Sunday at CRAVE- excellent sushi, steaks, and more. Wish there were more food court option so, but decent selection- Sbarro, Potbelly, Chinese, Orange Julius

I paid a visit to Eden Prairie Center today. I like to go there often to shop and walk. As usual EP Center was busy with a lot of shoppers of various ages. I think that us because it is always kept very clean and the stores are attentive and friendly. I will continue to shop and walk there because they are consistently so.

Had lunch at the new Craves Eden Prairie Restaurant. Food & service was excellent. Looked at the private dining rooms, for an upcoming class reunion lunch. However, due to a minimum purchase per guest, I had to eliminate this restaurant, for consideration. A minimum of $20/person was considered high for a lunch time meal.

Nice mall. They have done many upgrades over the last few years. The spaces feel open and inviting. The stores are clean and organized. They have a decent variety of stores albeit many less than 20 years ago. It was pretty quiet when we were there. If it is always that slow Im not sure how the mall will survive.

Great place to have fun with your friends or shop. They have a movie theater, a lot of food choices, and a wide variety of stores. The Von Maur is nice and a Target is attached to the building. They have a food court where you can sit around in booths and eat some food or simply relax. Definitely a cozy place.

Nice mall, good clean facility. We were at VR Junkies, which was a VERY fun experience! It was a pretty small sized mall, however, we were impressed at the options from the food court. There were burgers, curds, Subway, sbarro, and some other places. (sbarro is a pizza place) Overall, great experience!!

Theyve done a lot of work on this mall to update it. The food court is open, and they have lots of stores there that seem to be doing well. Its not too big, so you can walk around it without feeling like youve walked a marathon. Theres lots of parking, and many restaurant choices.

The best mall near me. The EP mall has a great selection from target to AMC; it has shoe stores, all clothing really, and it has a rather nice food court. My favorite part is the over all design, with clear and townsy signage and an always fresh look. Would definitely recommend

Nice to see an indoor mall still active and vibrant, with the trend to outdoor shopping "main street" experiences that waste time and gas by forcing you to drive around and park many times. Good selection of stores, decent food court, and a convenient location in the SW burbs.
