This place is a bit surreal. A certain sort of person would love it. This sort of person thinks downtown is too "dangerous" and doesnt know why people think Lululemons owner is a terrible person. Here canned crowd noise at night and bird song in the morning are piped in over the loud speakers. Theres a movie theatre and a Cub here, so there are at least two businesses not aimed at yuppies with more money than sense. That saves it from one star. Caveat: People living in the housing nearby are pretty well served by the close availability of said Cub and cinema, so theyre probably okay.

This is a pretty nice place and ate here with my niece last week. However, I had a huge problem with the east parking lot, in that to get to the restaurant we had to walk right by a ginormous garbage dumpster near the parking entrance that smelled to high heaven. Who would design a multi-million dollar, high-end shopping center where the guests have to walk by and smell garbage on their way to eat? Gross. I wont be going back until this is addressed.

A killer theater, (with a Dolby Atmos VIP section if youre in to that sort of thing), great food choices and free parking....whats not to like? This has become the preferred happy hour destination for anyone who doesnt have the inclination to drive into the city and definitely gets a thumbs up. For what its worth, Yardhouse has the best beer selection around but the Whiskey Chicken Shots at Coopers....needless to say they are extremely addicting!

Look, Ive never been a huge fan of this sort of outdoor, faux-pedestrian mall concept. I think its a bit short-sighted for Minnesota to have an outdoor only mall. We invented the indoor mall for a good reason. This thing is relatively low-density, high-priced shopping. For a place with two parking ramps, parking is still a pain. I only ever come here anymore for a haircut. Perhaps Im not their target market any longer.

And another one bites the dust. Bonefish Grill closed its doors without any notice and the Shops at West End makes this restaurant disappear off of their website like it has never been there...now I am stuck with Bonefish Grill gift cards that are useless. DO NOT buy any gift cards from any West End restaurant - they come and go....

I love parking underground in the winter. Its one of few places where my car can thaw. I also like the parking access from the ramp to the theater. In the last 6 months it seems a new place opens up. I was just at Punch Bowl Social for the first time and had a blast. Only thing I was left wanting was electric vehicle charging.

I mean, Im not a big fan of malls or strip malls; outdoor shopping areas are slightly better. This one feel lacking something. It missing that pedestrian-friendly vibe that can be found at some of the nicer ones. It feels like a few integrated strip malls in close proximity. The underground parking is a huge asset.

About a third empty at the moment. I imagine most people come here to come to a single store vs going there for a day of doing per se. They offer underground, heated parking which is nice, but everything is outside. Its a nice facility, its just a strange mix of restaurants and specialized shops, IMO.

The Shops at West End have a lot of great (you guessed it) stores to shop at, a variety of fantastic cuisine choices, a really nice movie theater, a Cub Foods grocery store, and a Punch Bowl Social that just opened up this past year (along with free underground parking).

An upscale outdoor mall features several prominent big name stores. With a small selection of boutique shops, the highlight shifts to the collection of mid-upper end restaurants all of which tend to be fairly expensive and under perform for their price point.

The epitomy of suburban meh. Seriously its not that much further to the city, replete with better restaurants and real atmosphere. This is just a cheap copy. Nothing about this place feels authentic and its way more expensive than it has any right to be.

Area is exceptionally pricey, but has mostly designer brands, so its understandable. Wife enjoys browsing in the area and we visit the Showplace Icon theater on occasion. Always exceptionally clean and typically pretty busy. Free parking is a huge bonus.

Wow. Cant say enough about the West End complex! It has every from great restaurants and bars, a movie theater, major grocery store and top retail shopping... All in a nicely landscaped area with free heated underground parking!

Variety of boutique-style shops and great resturaunts! The Showplace Icon theater is one of the best in the area and offers VIP theaters with a cocktail lounge and reserved seating. The parking is free and climate controlled.

A very nice selection of shops amidst a variety of dining options! I love the underground heated parking in the winter! A great place to window shop, or to find that one particular thing that you need.

Heated underground parking is great for the cold season, unfortunately its almost always full. Clearance is a little sketchy in lowered/exotic cars, but at 4 inches of ground clearance I dont scrape.

This is a great alternative to a mall area. They have good parking underground and have a few stores. They generally have some cool event going on in the middle area as well. Check it out.

Most of the shops are expensive. Bring your big bucks. Charming Charles needs to have larger clothing. Their large and extra large sizes are not standard size - they run very small.

Perfect if you dont want to get all the way downtown. Free parking and lots of food options. Shopping is limited but has nice Minnesota type shops. Also has a fancy movie theater

A nice selection of stores and restaurants in the area. Parking can be a challenge and do wish the facility had a better way of communicating which lots/structures were full.

I only wish the parking was less confusing but the area is just fabulous and theres so many places to shop at! Not to mention so many delicious places to dine/drink at.

I enjoy the variety of options at West End for restaurants, but would be happy to see a slightly better mix of retail that would help keep up consistent traffic.

Cool place to walk around with interesting restaurants. Parking is free, but usually takes a long time to find a spot. Places are usually pretty pricey here.

Great for a drink at a unique place, but not so great for a day trip of shopping. I love the stores there, but dont typically spend a long time exploring.

Great urban mall with several interesting options. A bit more upscale and pricey than your typical suburban mall but it is certainly worth checking out.

Top notch shopping area. Ritzy. Trendy. Fun. Nightlife. Lots of ramp parking. Very crowded. Lots of unique eats. Not completly walkable. Well Organized.

A little kitschy, but the yard house does have a TON of beer and had a great gluten free option to get my turkey burger with a lettuce bun. Love that.

If youre looking for someone a little not upscale for your shopping and dining, this is the place. It wont break the bank and the atmosphere is great!

Everything, and I mean everything, is overpriced here. Parking is a huge pain. Fun enough for one visit, but no way will I make this a regular stop.
