Smaller store but newer than most petco stores around. I stopped quick for crickets. Walked the store they had a greeter near the door who I assume was the manager and had an associate pass me as I walked to the back of the store with out a word said from them. There was another associate back there helping another customer so I walked back to the guy (manager?) Near the entrance and asked for help getting the crickets he said he couldnt help but he could have someone help me. He grabbed another guy asked him to help me, this guy pulled out a phone and called to the back of the store (a whole 200ft max away) found out there wasnt any one back there to help me after I had already told him the 1 person back there was busy. He had me follow him to the back of the store to find out the crickets were not there but at the front instead. Back to the front we go when he hands me off to the cashier for her to bag the crickets. Something that should have taken no time to accomplish took much longer especially considering there was not many customers in the store at all. AND THEY CHARGE TO MUCH FOR CRICKETS! compared to Chuck and Dons or Petsmart or any other store Ive been to for that matter. P.S. management shouldnt be above doing tasks especially for a customer and especially if they are just standing by the door saying hi to people as they enter....

I love this Petco, I come here all of the time and get supplies for my Guinea pigs, dog, cats, goldfish, and betta fish. Very nice customer service and sweet animals! I do have a small complaint though of something that would be more of a convenience but theres a slim chance of it actually being seen. So I went to the Petco in Dillon Colorado for spring break and they had a much wider selection of animals than Minnesota. Heres all of the things they that have we dont: (Im pretty sure) jackstone chameleons, female Guinea pigs, baby Guinea pigs, small, and large rats, (they have medium) baby betta (Minnesota has some but not many) fish, long hair hamsters, female mice, (I think) and parrots. Anyway, even if I may be incorrect about this. The selection of animals always just seems kind of little. But! The service is wonderful and kind :)

We were more than a little disappointed in the customer service at the Chaska Petco. We had been there for over an hour trying to figure out what to buy for our new rescue dog before anyone asked us if we needed help. We asked for help on what type of food they would recommend and were told to contact the rescue to find out. They just seemed unwilling to help out a new dog owner who was buying everything we needed at their store- disappointing to say the least. And when we got home we discovered that the flea/tick collar we purchased was not given to us-they forgot to take it out of the locked compartment where they are stored and we had to make a second trip back to the store to get it and then were treated like we were lying about it! Super disappointed, guess we wont be going back.

I used to like going to this store until the service has done a 180. You can never find employees to help. Theres enough of them but theyre in the back or all in one aisle socializing. Each time I have gone to aquatics no one is ever there. Ive gone to some of the employees to see if they can help and I always get "no, but we can try to find someone". I was a Manager at Petco and the excuse is bull. The cashiers always end up coming to help, which is horrible, but theyre the nicest employees and its sad they have to do the sales associates jobs. The GM needs to analyze their Managers and employee performances. The cashier with the short brown hair and glasses is always kind and friendly.

Terrible. I know petco is not known for having the greatest quality of animals, but one thing that bothered me tremendously was that there was a male mouse in the female mices incloser that was attacking the female mice. I told a female employee just that and said, well I dont see and blood so Ill just leave it in there. I politely said ok, and went on with my day. Overall I think the petco should pay better respect to their animals. I know it may be too big of a request to ask but its worth a shot I guess.

The salon has TERRIBLE service. We have been bringing our pups to Petco for years to get their nails trimmed and it took over a half an hour before someone greeted me at the grooming counter. There were 3 people grooming one dog that seemed to behave very well with only one groomer. When asked for our phone numbers they said they had our names but no pets listed. Absolutely DO NOT bring your pets here. Not organized or professional. Completely wasted our time on a hot day.

Staff is not universal. I was there 2 days ago asking about fish for my sons newest pet. The lady that helped was very kind and helpful. Yesterday I went in and unfortunately not the same person in the department. The guy that helped didnt seem too informed or eager to help. He kind of walked away in the middle of helping me. If the staff doesnt know an answer to a question in a certain department, they shouldnt just guess. That can be deadly.

The store is fairly large and has a wonderful selection of food and supplys for your animals needs and the dog treat table has many treats that look good enough for a person to eat I just wish the employees would not scold you about making messes at the treat table when your helping yourself to more then one treat only taking a little bit of each treat at a time

They can never get their rewards system straight. Clean store, good staff sone younger kids but appear to like their jobs. Dont ever buy from Petco. Use the store to product search and view and the purchase it from Amazon. Petco has 100 percent mark up on some things.

One of the best pet supply stores in my opinion. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, they always seem to have what I need. They take great care of there pets in store and visiting pets as well. Highly recommended.

Horrible experience. Workers do nothing but sit and socialize and do not help customers whatsoever. When you ask for help, they are all very rude no matter who you ask. I would give a zero star if I could.

This is where I prefer to go. Ive shopped at other local chain pet stores but this store has the selection that I need and the staff greet you as you come in; start to recognize you and are very helpful.

Great grooming, reasonable rates, my dog looks forward to going and never looks stressed when I pick him up. Had to book two weeks out for a weekend spot this time, so word is getting around.
