Heres the facts: My fridge died on a Thursday despite my attempts to ressurect it. I went to Sears during a sale that night and purchased a new fridge to replace. From Thursday, the soonest they could deliver was Tuesday. I paid $15 to choose the 12 to 5 delivery time slot to schedule time off work to deliver. The fridge arrived at 3:45PM, in time as promised. The delivery guy poked his head out of the truck and mentioned there was "a small dent, do you still want it?" Upon inspection, the "small dent" was a half-destroyed fridge. The loaders at the distribution center put A FORKLIFT into the side of the fridge, loaded it anyway, and they have the werewithall to ask if I still want the fridge with the "small dent". No. No I do not. The earliest they could reschedule was Saturday. Five more days of expensive eating out, and Sears has yet to apologize for this "small dent" insult. I demanded that I have delivery first slot Saturday as I am going on vacation, and the associate set up the time slot. Friday night comes, and Sears set my delivery from 3 to 5 pm. The distribution center is closed, and the call center in India cannot do anything to help. Sears is so incompetent, infuriating, and does not care one iota about customers. I will be cancelling this order, and my family will never set foot into Sears again. BEWARE! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY.

So I purchased a backpack for my grandson for $16.00 back in late september. Last week the zipper completely broke now hes without one. Mind you.. I paid $16.00 for a backpack that has lasted for 2 months. I called the westland mi sears store where I purchased it, just to be told your return policy is 30 days... Nice one sears for selling Crap backpacks that bust after 2 month of use...now $16.00 may not be a lot for your shareholders but its a lot for me.. Disappointed customer

Sears has a very limited selection and its item quality appears to have gone downhill, at least in terms of apparel and household goods (I cant speak for tools or appliances). This location is also cluttered and disorganized; no signage is available to direct customers through departments, and things tend to be scattered randomly through the store. If they want to improve, Sears should present a better appearance to the public and keep their store well stocked.

The very front of the store (from the mall entrance) is kept tidy and looks well-stocked, but the rest of the store is just sort of sad. The fitting rooms also have a motion sensor buzzer/bell, so dont bother using the first stall unless you want to drive yourself crazy.

10 times within an hour and a half and I cannot get no one to answer the phone down there and Sears must be closed on a Sunday you know they say theyre open its got to be the worst Sears Ive ever encountered

I bought a washing machine there and about 18 months later I found out I was overusing my soap and mold was growing in it. The repair protection agreement repaired it free!!
