I have had nothing but bad experiences every time Ive been here since November of 2016. I went in looking for a 5 gallon bucket of gear oil on my initial trip. When asked if they had it the first gal said, "I dont know", and walked away from me. Upon further searching they did not have anything but quarts. I had to go to TSC and get it. Then in December my wife sent me after icicle lights. When I asked the lady at the Christmas decor section for them I got the same, "I dont know". When I asked for a manager he acted as though I was asking for something ridiculous, or as though hed never heard of ice icicle lights. I once again went elsewhere. I had sworn off Rural King until we decided to possibly save on shipping on our turkey poults for thanksgiving. So we went in and asked about turkey poults. The first lady we asked, in the farm section mind you, said "I dont know", and walked away from us. We went to the customer service desk, and the woman there responded "ummmm", and walked away. Shortly after another lady showed up and was very helpful. She told us she would order us 6 turkey poults, and they would arrive July 10th. July 10th came, and we called to see if theyd arrived. We were simply told no, and to call back the follow day. The following day I was told to call back the next day. I asked for a manager. The manager said he would check and put me on hold for over 40 minutes. After that time I was told by another lady that he had gone home for the day, and was instructed to call back the following day. I asked for the manager that was currently on duty. He apologized and told me the hatchery wasnt sending any turkeys that week, and it may be several weeks until they had more. Which is understandable, but why the need for the rest of the staff and management to jerk us around instead of just telling us that? The moral of the story is dont waste your time on Rural King. The staff is rude and seems to hate their jobs, including management. Also if you compare prices, you can typically get the same product at TSC for 5% to 10% less cost.

Becoming less impressed with the store. Today we went to check out only person was at the service desk so we went over and unloaded our carts. Then he tells us well have to wait for someone who can check us out. Few minutes later a girl comes out of the restroom and say I can help you on register 2. Very poor customer service. Weve spent thousands of dollars here.

Rural King is a nice addition to Marysville/Union County. Their selection is good, but I feel that a few items are overpriced. Other than the cashiers, it has been my experience that the staff is not overly friendly. I have visited this store over 20 times since its opening about 1 1/2 years ago.

really nice staff, great buisness model, got some deals here and print my rebates off computer, big help around my ranch, ended up liking thier grocery selection even? alot of bad farmers take at least 3 parking spots usually but it is what it is

Get a cart before you go in. Theres no carts in the store anymore. If you go shopping and need a cart you will need to drop all your things and go outside and retrieve a car. Corporate merchandiser said he needs the room to sell more things.

Great store. Good deals. Well stocked. You can get what you need while being entertained, you can look around at neat stuff for hours. These guys carry a lot of items that you dont find at other stores.

Not a bad place, prices are decent, but the shop is a little messy and a good amount of the products are mixed up, so its hard to determined the actual price on a lot of things

Experience would be rated as good. Found what we need easily. Got a strong young man to load chicken feed and water softener salt in the car. I like shopping at Rural King.

Why cant I test the trigger pull? If it wasnt for an amazing sale price, I wouldnt have made a purchase. Staff was very friendly and talkative during process.
