The manager here is very rude to people if she thinks your a breeder. Brought my dog in with her puppies quite some time back and she lectured me about not breeding my dog! I told her that the guy I bought my dog from on Craigslist said that she was fixed. I rescued a male husky from some guy on Craigslist and found out that surprise my dog was huge and had something moving inside. I feel that even if I was a breeder, she needs to shut up and be nice since we as customers are paying this boneheads paycheck. I now shop at Petco, since they treat both my pets and I with the respect we deserve!

Store isnt bad, like the prices. Needed a larger tank for my lizards due to them being in a 40 gallon tall tank rather then a 40 gallon wide tank. Those tanks go for around 150-250 depending on the sales. I bought one for $50 here, nothing wrong with it. Brand new 40 gallon wide tank for $50 is pretty good. But they also stopped selling the food for my lizards. Staff is fair, some days are better then others with the staff. Crickets suck here, always small, always babies. Never large or medium, if you want those go to the reptile place on 10 and gratiot. $5 for 500 I believe

Employee was incredibly rude to me while I was browsing dog food brands to transition my puppy to for adulthood. Accused my breeder of getting kickbacks from dogfood companies and intentionally telling me to buy food that wasnt good for my dog. I didnt ask for, or want any help with my selection and I told her I was fine just browsing. This was totally unwarrented, unprofessional, and made me feel as if she thought I didnt care about my dog because I dont buy the most expensive food. I have never felt less welcomed in a store.

My husband Glen and I shop for our 2 furbabies/cats at the Hoover Rd Warren, MI location and the staff never disappoint us because theyre always pleasant and helpful, especially when one of our furbaby/cats was having cat food preference issues and we had to switch Gingerbreads food like 4 times within 3 months and return cat food and get something else, the staff always exchanged the cat food and we were treated very nice every time.

Its a nice place to get pet food and supplies. They always have sales and are reasonably priced. Only issue is that its a bit small and there is a lot of traffic due to the surrounding plazas. The store itself has its own lot and good parking. There are a lot of stores and plazas in the area, causing difficulty getting around. Too many idiot drivers compacted in one place.

Staffed by young People so you may have to ask for help but once you do they are very knowledgeable, polite and really love pets. People who are complaining because someone gives them food advice they dont agree with need to get over it. Honestly why are people so damned offended by advice? Listen politely but then do what you want. Stop taking everything personally!

This store does not mind letting a customer wait around for assistance. It usually takes about 5 minutes for someone to get me crickets after I inform the cashier. That is if they even have crickets, its 50/50. I have seen other frustrated customers waiting on service as well.

Really does need to improve. The employees are usually really friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when theyre not busy but the store seems short staffed. I also wait too long for crickets and they usually are out of em. The store is always clean and has good prices though.

Stopped in for the traveling VIP clinic to get my new dog microchipped. All the store employees were very nice, each asking if I was finding everything I needed. Love that the have the low cost vaccination clinic each week, but it should be more publicized.

Clean store, huge selection of pet food and toys. They also have an area where you can wash your dogs in 2 separate tubs. Store offers vaccinations and they have a key chain embroidery machine.
