This store knows how to put customers first. Gary, the associate that helped me with a tool box today, 6/27/17, was a pleasure to deal with. Smiled and made me feel welcomed. I live one mile from the Home Depot at Metropolitan Parkway and Van Dyke, never again will I darken that door again. Terrible customer service. Went to that Home Depot for the same tool box on 6/24/17. Associate said they were out of stock on that tool box. I asked if I could buy the display model, he said no. I then asked the associate if he was going to turn down a $500.00 sale and he promptly said yes. I am shocked that Home Depot gives a part-time employee that type of authority to be able to turn away a $500.00 sale. The Home Depot on Hall Rd East of Delco Dr. is now my store of choice. Thank you Gary!!!!!

This location is so far from my home , but the customer service this here day will make me continue to do my shopping here no matter the Distance! Everyone (workers)had a smile and the greeting at the Door by Glenn!! Awesome! My husband and I searched 3 other locations for a special buy promo. The workers where HAPPY to tell us what the computer said, but noone would go lay eyes on the product! This Angel Jane answered our call on thee last attempt, told us what she had and then laid eyes on the product! Got there my motorwheel chair died as I shopped. Jane PUSHED me around thee store with patience and retrieved my products off the shelves!! This type of customer service is what I would of like to see at the 7mile Detroit, Madison heights, and other locations!

Home Depots days are numbered. NEVER buy services from this home depot because the work gets sub contracted to Andersons installation. I personally have had work done by Andersons and I sued the home depot and got a $14,000 privacy fence for $5000 but the damages left behind as a result are still not worth it. They didnt use any cement on the posts and when the wind blows you can visually watch the fence blow back and forth. Their work truck leaked oil all over my driveway and they waited two weeks until they attempted to clean it up. If I need home repair products I go to Menards or Lowes though I live within a mile of this place.

I used to frequent the Home Depot in Utica for many months until I grew tired of the poor service, long check out lines, and employees who avoid you. I needed help in the plumbing department and it took 10min of hunting and asking to find someone to help me. When the "plumbing person" came over they had no idea what I was talking about. If you are in the area and need something that home depot carries I suggest Stones Ace Hardware on Van Dyke and 20 1/2 or Lowes further east on Hall road. Both places have better service and employees who both want to help you and know what they are talking about.

Customer service is terrible here! The last 3 times I went here I walked out without getting anything. I even asked for a manager and he/she never came. I had one simple question and every time I stopped someone to ask them a question and they tell me its not their department. When I ask who I should ask then they told me someone will be here shortly and never came. I wait 30 minutes and nothing. Please please please take your employees through training again. This Home Depot is 2 minutes away from my house and I hate to drive 7 miles to the other one which Ive been doing.

Up to this day we havent had a problem with this Home Depot. Ive called in the past to see if dogs were allowed at this location and I was told that they were. After a month of coming here with my dog the lady at the register asked if he was a service dog and we told her no. She followed up (with a very nasty tone) that it was posted on the door that he wasnt allowed in. We have always been told that as long that he was leashed, he was allowed in. Workers have given him treats from their aprons as well. The inconsistency is unacceptable. We will go to Lowes for now on. ✌️

I cant say enough about the staff at the store it is one of the best in Macomb County for sure. Every associate from the front and to the departments to the management has been Superior! I want to mention someone in particular!! Barrington one of the managers, this guy is incredible, professional, humble and all around a great person and employee. Home Depot is should be very great full to have someone like Barrington on there staff. I split my spendings between Lowes and this Home Depot until a week ago. I will not be doing business with Lowes (

I was so intimated when I went in, I know nothing about faucets, and what to get or buy, this young man , even though it wasnt his area I believe, spent 20 mins trying to help me figure things out, when he couldnt answer anymore of my questions he got someone who could help more, when I was getting ready to check out and had what I needed, I saw him again and thanked him, and he said he hoped he was helpful. Now thats a way to treat a customer! I will be back, and ask for Nicholas. Way to go, Home Depot!!! This was on June 3, 2017.

I just placed a call to Home Depot Utica asking about renting a roto-tiller for my garden and the employee who answered the phone paged the tool rental department, but since they were swamped with customers and not able to answer the page she went over to the department and got the information I needed and immediately connected me to one of the tool rental specialist as they became available. I was impressed with their customer service, and both were extremely friendly.

Help not interested in helping. I asked at the flooring department for assistance in special order for an item which HAD ONE COLOR ON DISPLAY AND WAS TOLD TO CHECK THE PRODUCT OUT ON THE INTERNET MYSELF WITH THE MAUNFACTURER. GUESS WHAT? THIS PRODUCT IS A HOME DEPOT OFFERED ONLY PRODUCT AND IS OFFERED IN ADDITIONAL COLORS. THE PERSON IN THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT WAS NOT BUSY IN FACT THE STORE WAS VERY QUIET. THEY QWERE TOO LAZY TO HELP.

Bonni in the paint department is an incredible asset to the store. She was extremely helpful and patient with me after I had a botched paint color job and I left with the perfect solution. She knows what shes doing and it shows. I left very pleased as a result and will definitely be back when we paint our next room. Big thanks to Bonni!

Had a great experience with a patient employee I believe was named Eizo (worked in the carpet department) today. He helped cut some vertical blinds for me when I couldnt locate anyone else in the store. Its good to see employees that still have great patience and customer service at the big box chains!

Sometimes difficult to locate someone that will help you out. My rating dropped since they purposely disabled NFC readers. Used to be able to pay with my phone, which saved me so many times. Not anymore. Not I have to have my cc with me.
