UNPLEASANT CS EXPERIENCE TODAY, particularly with one store, the rest of the mall I have no problem with. I visited Sears today for an exchange an was faced with 2 individuals on the cash register that were not customer friendly at all! It was a male & a female...I asked a question about the line I was suppose to be in and they looked at me like I was an alien and would not answer me, so I asked again at slower this time, I dont talk fast at all, but maybe they couldnt understand....the female finally answered me, but with much attitude and gestures to match...2nd when I did approach the counter, there was nothing that I could ask her that was gonna be easy to get a response to, I asked another question about discounts pertaining to the sale and she answered, "Why would we give discounts", very smugly.... I then said these are discounts right here showing here the various coupons that I was holding, she then said, "Well you should have said coupons", I then told her that I asked about what I wanted to know about, not the coupons, so she was really rude and I didnt need to ask for a manager I jus needed to get out of there really cause I was not an argument and I wasnt gonna keep goin back and forth with her and her telling me what I should be saying. I am an adult, I have been makin money for quite sometime, I have a great job, I am a wife, a mother, a aunt, a sister, a daughter, plus Ive spent years serving our Country and it was her being very condescending, smug, rude all with attitude and bothered by the customer(s), the customers are the reason theu both have jobs. I will return to Sears, but maybe not this one, because if I see her again (I dont know if he was as bad, but when I asked my inital question, he just stared at me and I asked again and got nothin, so eventually, thats when the young lady answered) it may not go so smooth again and She could have got someone with a different attitude than I currently had. I suggest to them both that if their not happy with their positions then they should move on to somethimg else cause customer service is not their nak. Sears should value their customers a little more, especially in this day in age when ppl arent really visiting the malls as they once were, when choosing their associates. TY

Oakland Mall is huge. The mall has pretty much all the stores such as Macys, JC Penny, Sephora, Sears, and etc. Their huge parking all is very helpful because it gets crowded later in the day. Macys is pretty big and has many of its stores. Clinique has a very nice lady and she the sweetest person. Unfortunately i do not remember her name but youll know once you meet her. The kindest and the nicest employee i have ever met. Back to the mall, its very spacious and is good for shopping. Price wise theres not any much difference. Most of the prices were exactly the same as individual store in NY.

I take my kids here for the Easter bunny and Santa but honestly I avoid the mall unless absolutely necessary. I just got my daughters pictures taken at jcpenny here and the lady was kinda rude and pretty obnoxious. It was 90 degrees in there too. In December we saw Santa and the train almost broke my finger because it was so close to the railing. We saw the Easter bunny and the workers there are just rude. They need to change companies or something because it is outrageous prices and crappy service.

This what a dying mall looks like. I mean, its still busy, but its clearly dated in appearance, its anchor stores (Sears, Macys, JCPenny) are weak or failing, and its becoming filled with "B list" stores that dont really drive traffic. It is the architectural and economic embodiment of the old Chaldean men who gather to just sit around its central fountain everyday and stare at passersby; their purpose, like this mall is questionable and a little creepy.

With the malls seemingly dying out in the metro area Oakland needs a facelift, an upgrade. I do like the Macys but Oakland needs to bring some new stores and some more attractions like other malls. This mall has primary looked the same since 20 years ago. The south end of the mall is almost empty, They do have a Dicks sporting goods over there but back in the day there were so many selection of stores in that area.

I love oakland mall, it always been my favorite mall. because it not to big and confusing, where some malls you literally get lost ,you cant find your car when you come out of the mall. It has just about anything you need there.it always been clean. Great for Christmas shopping , and decorated beautifully, for the holidays.macys, jcpennys, and sears, are the main stores. lot of places to eat also.

Lets call it a ghetto mall who tries to make it a clean strict place. But why bother. Oakland is the only mall where they made me take off my hoodie. Sorry guards. Totally stupid rule and a waste of time. If I had some power what so ever this mall would just be closed down. Also adding in smells funny in here. I would recommend lakeside or great lakes crossing for a mall

We enjoy Oakland Mall as it has a nice food court, a few stores we cant find at other malls, and is easy to get to. It is pretty large and you can take your time finding the store you are looking for. The White Barn Candle store next to Bath and Body Works is a nice store to look through and enjoy the scents. I havent seen a store like that in other malls around here.

Honestly, I didnt stop to go to the mall. I stopped because I on Google Maps I found that they had a Panda Express - and I wanted an eggroll and some broccoli chicken. I was pleasantly surprised that the location of the icon was accurate within the mall and I was able to park at the right entrance and zip in and out. Sadly, I forgot to ask for the hot spicy mustard.

I goto this mall alot because its near my job and "on the way" to where i need to go. security is nice and the stores are pretty good there as well...the reason i will give this place 4 stars is because they have a policy that i cant bring my firearm into the building. Though i am license to carry i feel that rule should be thrown out for people who is licensed

Ive read some horrible statuses from one of the food court workers girlfriends on Facebook about the condition of the food court area so always avoid that. This mall is usually crowded and most of the stores are also small, crowded, and cramped. When the worker from Charlies Subs girlfriend said on Facebook that this was a sh**** mall she was not exaggerating.

I went to the Verizon store was told is going to be an hour and a half wait just to be seen so give him my name and checking walk around the mall they called me I went down sat there with the guy worked everything out took another hour then was told it was going to be a $400 security deposit per line. I am happy to say I am now a Sprint Customer
