The team at JD Byryder traverse city have been good to me. Ive left a review before, but I had another experience with them this afternoon that caused me to take time out of my very busy day and write another. I went in for an oil change, $5.00!, and thought I was having a transmission issue with the car theyd sold me. So when I talked to the maintenance dept. not only did they look into it for me during he oil change they took it for a test drive and ran a diagnostic. Very thouough if you ask me. When they came back and told me that every thing was fine I wanted to ask questions which they answered fully and patiently. Further more they offered for me to take one of their mechanics with me so that I could point out my issue. This was all their idea. Not mine. Turned out to be nothing at all, but my point is they seem to be honest people. I cant stand car sales men in all honesty. I dont like people trying to tell me what I need, or what I dont need. I dont like the pushy dishonest and, but as I continue to deal with this particular team I continue to be impressed. Therefore, in my humble opinion I believe theyre a stand up group, and though they sell cars, I honestly believe that they stand behind those cars as well as their program. Good job Jeff, Gino, and Stacy. Thank you the the mechanics as well!!!

Ive dealt with everyone here. Every single person, and every last one of them were more than accommodating. From the moment that I stepped into the door Geno fought to get me financed and I had some issues that I wasnt familiar with so Jeff, and Ted bent over backwards to help me understand everything. I came into this situation extremely sceptical because my experience with car dealerships isnt the greatest and the ppl here blew all the sceptisism out of the water. Im a man of my word and would never recommend any product or company if I honestly didnt believe in it or them. I highly recommend JD Byrider here in Traverse City. I dont know anything about the other ones. But if your in traverse city and are looking to establish your credit. Come here for sure. These guys will fight for you and any issues that they have they will make right. Thats a fact. If your thinking Northpoint rethink it. Come here, listen to them and then make your decision. Jd buyrider has such a great deal for used vehicle. vehicle having a standard 24month/240000 mile warranty on all used vehicle $25 deductible through the time of warranty and $5 dollar oil changes until the contract ends. You just cant beat. Well affordable payments. I reccomend to talk to jeff. Great person and friend. He will work his tail off to get u the best deal to be driving that day. He never stops he always making sure your paper work is being looked at. He does great doing the rushing for u. The customer service is amazing. Ive never met such nice ppl for a dealership. They really mean well. I have such crappy credit its not even funny and was able to get me into a beautiful 09 cobalt with low miles. I recommend jd buyrider any day of the week to any body. Dont buy from this place without getting your own gap insurance. I didnt even knows what gap insurance was until after my vehicle was totaled. Now I owe 6k, and no car. I cant even get another dealer to roll it on top of another loan, except byrider. And no, just no. Once the loan is paid, if I still had the car, I will pay 5 times what the car was worth. To make matters worse, they werent honest about my credit. They gave me a loan that was 24.99% when I had credit that ranked in the top 98%. Know your credit before you go in. Have your bank pull it. I thought mine was bad because of credit karma. I had my bank pull mine a couple days ago. It was almost 170 points higher than what credit karma was reporting on the same day. I literally had no business buying from a place like this.

Geno at the Traverse City Branch and his Manager and the Under Writer were amazing!! Geno stuck with me calling and checking in just to let me know that he was there to help and to see if he could do anything for our family to get us in the car we needed and we feel we deserve. They made the process quick easy and painless. Followed the program that made sure we knew exactly what we were doing and how it was going to help us. The underwriter walked us through credit issues and made sure we knew we were financed not by what was on a piece of paper but according to what we can afford and on our personal atributes. They believed in us when traditional financing would have turned away. Thank you Traverse City JD Byrider for believeing in us when others gave up!!!

Highly recommend buying a car from J.D. BYRIDER. They get you into the car you need without any hassle. I myself has not so good credit and still managed to drive off the lot with a great car. The customer service is excellent and very friendly. When I go there to make a car payment Im always greeted with smiles. They answer all my questions when I need assistance with my payments or car. He was able to find me a really nice selection of vehicles that fell into the price range I was comfortable with. Jeff made my first car purchase from a dealer very pleasant and easy.
