Im a derby skater, and I use Anime to Skateboards for EVERYTHING. Recently, I bought new skates there, and they let me customize everything so that theyre perfect. Jen and Meg are both so knowledgeable and friendly, and make sure I know the ins and outs of whatever Im buying before I leave the store. They are my one-stop-shop for everything skate-related, and sometimes I pop in there without even knowing what I need and they always deliver. Im so glad theyve moved into a bigger space, and hope they continue to grow.

I had such a nice experience at this store. I was getting back into skating after several years away and was in need of a helmet and some wrist guards. I was assisted by a very kind and patient person who took a lot of time to explain to me the different aspects of each piece of equipment I had questions about. And their prices are very fair. This is a cool local business the downriver community should be really proud of.

I went to go and buy just simple bushings to repair my trucks and the lady in the store did nothing but give attitude and act really disrespectful, also when asking for a product they have very much a negative attitude and act really rude, the store had everything I needed to get but the service is extremely poor.

I absolutely LOVE this store! Im a roller derby skater and they are a one stop shop for all things derby. The staff is super helpful, knowledgable, nice and patient. If you play roller derby, skateboard, or just love anime and cute little things, you definitely need to check out this store!
