This store got to be the dumbest mobile phone outlet in the world and customer- hostile to the boot. I have been with AT&T for at least last 7 years. I have a corporate account with them. The corporations name is same as my name. I am long overdue for a new phone because my two year contract ran out in May 2014. I went to their store on Saturday March 28 at 6.20 pm. The store was empty. There were six employees and no customers. Perhaps because their service is so bad. They took my drivers license and booted up my account, and then said they cannot help me because I have designated another person as my representative to deal with them. I said the other person is my secretary and I designated her as my representative because you all give her a third degree whenever she calls AT&T for any reason demanding that I come to the phone and approve her to talk with them. They said it does not matter. Since you made her your representative to talk with us now only she can talk with us. She should call the customer service and tell them that now you can also talk with us. This was utterly stupid catch-22 but without losing my cool I got my secretary on the phone and said," Here she is and she can give you permission to talk with me." They said no she must come here personally with a picture ID. At this point my wife who was with me said that the account is not in his secretarys name. It is in his name. He pays the bills, the statements show his name, the bank account from which you deduct the autopay we can show you the account number in the checkbook, which we have right here with us. You can pull all this information on your computer. What is the point of giving us hard time. It is not we are stopping somebody elses service. We purchased the first phone here three years ago. And have purchased accessories from here subsequently. All that information must be in your computer. There cannot be a man named Surendra Kelwala trying to pull a fast one on a corporation that is named Surendra Kelwala. How many Surendra Kelwalas do you think live in the United States? Look at his mugshot in his drivers license, look at his face, and look at the name there, and on your computer, they are all same. The manager claimed that they will lose their job if they cooperate with us [even if they have no doubt that the account named Surendra Kelwala must belong to the person named Surendra Kelwala who has multiple IDs with him]. Before leaving I asked them to do me a favor and at least tell me how much will be by monthly payment if I upgrade this phone with two-year contract versus buying the phone outright. They said, "Oh no they cannot reveal that [got to be a great AT&T secret]. For that I have to ask my secretary to put my name on the account." Disgusted I said either this store is stupid or AT&T is stupid. The manager "Sammie" then got really officious and pulled her authority on us. "We do not allow any insulting language to our employees. Please leave this store." Now I had not called any person stupid, just the store and AT&T stupid. Neither I had raised my voice. Anyway there was nobody else in that big store. Just those rude employees. "And what will you do if I refuse to leave." The woman proceeded towards the phone and said I am calling the Southfield police right now and started dialing the police. We proceeded to leave. Feeling that they had not insulted us enough the two women and a man followed us and to rub it in sang out. "Have a nice day." "Have a nice day." "Have a nice day." I told them "to shove their have a nice day up theirs". Did not AT&T teach them this much sense that if you cannot serve a person rightly at least do not gleefully insult him with back handed goodbye. AT&T must train their employees in ISIS camps.

Horrible service. I came in to switch providers and buy the new Blackberry Passport. They "sign" you in but dont explain you need to wait for a sales person, then the people who "sign" you in proceed to do nothing at all while you stand there in limbo until you ask them what is going on. The place wasnt busy...maybe two other people there being helped. I stood around for 10 minutes then walked out. They lost a sale. In fact, this experience was the deciding factor for me to just stick with T-mobile and with the phone I have. So, AT&T lost a potential new customer because of this poorly managed store. I will simply buy an unlocked Blackberry Passport directly from Blackberry.

The customer service rep Josh was nice however he did not properly transfer my contacts when I bought a new phone. Then he told me the phone was "all set to go" I left and got on the freeway and attempted to call my husband to let him know I was in route but the phone didnt work. I called back to the store when I got home and spoke to a very unprofessional sales woman. I asked her to have the store manager call me. I received no call. The next day I called the store manager who was extremely dismissive and rude. I am very very disappointed in the customer service and this store will never get another penny of my households or my companies business.

This place has the greatest service. Im never in there longer than a half hour unless Im there during the holiday season. They have everything in stock that I need. I never do anymore online shopping from AT&T because these folks always take care of me. Outstanding shopping experience.

This store is the worst att store Ive been to, when I walked in nobody said hello and signed me or directed me as where to sign in I came in to purchase a new phone and im going to have to leave with time wasted and disappointment due to their horrible customer service

Worst customer service. I cancelled my phone and was charged for the full month even though I no longer had the service. Worst part? The line I cancelled was a "throw away" line I had to add (at their suggestion) to take care of an issue on my actual number..

Those who work there seem to just stand around with only one person who actually do something but takes them forever to reach you (Also, they sold me a bad phone which I took to them but they seemed bothered by it and told me to take it to the apple store)

If I could give 0 stars, I would in a heart beat. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service & rude employees. I left after waiting over an hour, when I had an appointment! I should havent expected anything less for the area it is in. Junk city, Junk employees.

Slow, unmotivated, lethargic. The staff seemed like they wished they were anywhere else. Took forever to get my new phone and when I got it, the sales rep wiped my contacts out. I lost over 500 contacts. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
