Gierk shoes got good reviews if you are able to shop their retail location, but their online shop is a scam. the company also sells on Amazon but charges exorbitant "restocking fees" if you want to return anything. Buyer pays return shipping PLUS a 20% restocking fee if the shoes dont fit. They state that they abide by "Amazons return policy" but there is some tucked away fine print indicating extra fees. As these are high-quality shoes, they are not cheap, therefore it 20% is quite a large amount to pay for "Restocking". Poor business practice for online purchases.

I will not go to this shop again. I had an issue with my socks being pulled into the NB shoes I had bought the week earlier the owner would not do anything or even try to check the issue. She was to call me back never did. I called NB and they said it was because the shoe didnt fit. I put an additional insert in the shoe and now okbl

I really enjoy the personal touch of a small town shoe store. The owner is very personable and seems to listen to my needs and make suggestions. Since the shoe store has changed owners I have found the brands to be more relevant to what I am looking for and trendy.
