Bought a pair of boots from the "heritage collection" was improperly sized. And given a boot that did not fit. Was told it would break in. I needed a half size up and a wide. Came in and inquired about my options. Was told "we can stretch them, but if that doesnt work well exchange them" by a nice older man named skip. Who I enjoyed talking to while at the store. Unfortunately for me, skip was not in today. However, the salesman who originally sized me for said boots, was incredibly rude. He knows who he is. He gave me my boots back, and what do you know. They still dont fit. Even though they were stretched. Go figure right? When they dont fit. They dont fit. I asked about the offer to exchange and was told no, because they were "street worn" and by "street worn" I mean worn twice in the 15 days I owned them, and had neither a scratch or an imperfection. And told me I was SOL. He went on to say that skip was wrong to tell me I could exchange them. And bad mouthed him for telling me that. Well thank you, but Im sorry. red wings has lost a customer. I have been buying and wearing their boots for 15 years. Guess Ill just go to chesters and buy thorogoods from now on. So long wing.

My work requires ESD (electro static dissipative) foot wear with toe protection. This Red Wing store is on my way home. I stop in when-ever my boots or shoes start to get covered with salt or I have been outside a lot in wet weather. They are always quick and helpful. very knowledgeable of their products and the care requirements. I had some sticking come loose over the winter. I dropped them off on Thursday after work and they were repaired and ready on Saturday. They had fixed the sticking, cleaned as much salt staining off as was possible (black boots looked white when I dropped them off), and had cleaned and polished them with new boot oil to help repair the salt damage and make them water resistant again. This is my 3rd pair of Red Wings (2nd pair from this store in 2 years). I love them. You cant beat the service they provide. I still wear my first pair out to shovel. They are from 2008. Still water repellent when I come into the store and get them oiled/ cleaned (4 times a year or so)

Hello this is for all the Hard working men & women out there. My experience was ridiculous or in other words Id like to say what comes round goes round (Shelby twp store) I bought a pair of Irish setter boots for work mind you I work 12/15 hr days I was uninformed nor told that if I wasnt to like them after a few I could not return nor exchange them like the red wing brands so $300 of my hard earned money was for a pair of boots that dont even fit right & are very uncomfortable. So beware of this location people very rude & most of all very unprofessional as I tried to resion Ive experienced I felt was nothing but pear disrespect tord an honest good paying customer. 0stars (no longer)

Wow! When I heard that Red Wing Shoes had great customer service I thought yeah Ill believe it when I see it ... but I tell you what I just saw it! My husband bought a pair of boots two years ago and they lasted great! Got new Souls after about a year-and-a-half and two months ago we bought a new pair hes been using them theyre fantastic but the soul just broke. :-( well Rob just replaced them for me no fuss no muss with a smile and a thank you for your continued business! :-) thank you so much youve definitely won our business and good referrals to whoever will listen

Bought a $200 pair of "waterproof" work boots with a 12 month warranty. 6 months old they leak water from wet grass. I took them in for warranty service and they tested and said they only need to withstand water for 20 minutes and they werent going to fix the problem. Well to me that is water RESISTANT not "waterproof!" After they got my money they didnt care, I guess they are not lookin for return customers. I reccommend to anyone, do not go here, save your money and buy a pair of better boots!

They make the best boots and shoes. And if something goes wrong with them theyre happy to fix it. They have the best customer service in Red Wing makes all of their shoes. So you can custom your shoes anyway you need them. These are my awesome boots and they fit so well and their weatherproof waterproof and got Kevlar on the bottom. They were custom fit for me. So if youre looking for a good work boot or dress boot head on up to Red Wing.

This place sucks compared to the one in Utica!!! I quit going here. Only Utica store for me now! I brought my boots in for a quick treatment, they were clean and everything, the guy tells me he cant do it. I ask why, he says it would take all day if he could even get to them. These old guys here are just super lazy. He did not want to be bothered! Lazy I tell you. I am not the only one with this kind of story either.

Recently had new soles but on my boots and a few things like stitching fixed. They said it would only take 4 days. It ended up taking more like 14 days. And the soles they put on them are suppose to be the right ones but they are not. Or they are just making them cheaper. I would recommend just taking care of your boots. Not worth the money for new soles. And the service was not good.

Store manager is a dick! So absolutely rude and condescending! Ask to be helped by someone other than Rob. I had a pair of shoes repaired and Im happy with the repair but the customer service is downright horrible. I will never set foot in this store again...the only reason I went back a second time was to pick up my boots! Not sure how they stay in business with a manager like that!!

Had my boots in stock and the measuring system there got me the right size right off the get. I didnt take a 2nd step and I knew I was buying them. Most comfortable pair of boots Ive ever owned. The sales guys were nice and were not pushy at all. I wont buy anything from a pushy or desperate salesperson. I would recommend this location for your boot purchase.

I bought a pair of work boots for working on driveways and the guy wholeheartedly recommended a pair for the job, $280 and has a one year warranty. A week later, the tread is separating at the seam and he says they wont do anything for me. I think Ill be buying my footwear elsewhere. Dont waste your time with this place.

They do not have a wide range of sizes or shoe styles. The guys dont have knowledge of the shoes. He said after two shoes "sorry ma we dont have or carry anything for you". Best to order online. It is cheaper and the information is there.

Had a legitimate question. Whoever "helped" me on the phone was very rude. Love the boots but the service provided has me completely turned off. I can take my business elsewhere.
