My wife and I discovered the Volvo Xc90 at Macomb after an extensive internet search yielded nothing in our area within our price range. We found this gem thousands cheaper with 30K less miles than anything in our area. The vehicle is a rebuilt title due to a theft recovery with no accident history. My wife and I have previously owned theft recovery vehicles with no issues so this was not a concern for us (as a matter of fact they are typically low mileage and much cheaper). We were skeptical about an out of state deal, buying a vehicle from an unknown dealership without even seeing the vehicle in person. After calling Kathy, I was immediately comforted to know that the vehicle had a 1 year warranty on engine/trans. Not to mention, she offered to arrange a vehicle inspection by a third party mechanic. They brought the vehicle to the mechanic (who was very nice and told me everything he could visibly see with the vehicle for like $50). After the inspection I felt comfortable, and Kathy arranged for the vehicle to be shipped. Although it took a few days before we had any details on the shipping company or date, the vehicle arrived the NEXT MORNING after getting the shipping details. From MI to SC in 1 day. The vehicle was pretty dirty upon arrival, but once I cleaned it up, it was immaculate. The overall condition of the vehicle was remarkable. Aside from the rear shocks needing replacement, the inside and outside could not have been in better condition. It looks like a brand new vehicle and drives just as described. Initially we werent able to get financed because of the rebuilt title, but Kathy recommended Lightstream. I got an unsecured loan (basically that means they are not listed on the tile/lienholder for the vehicle). For very good credit, I would recommend Lightstream for financing as they have no issue with the type of vehicle. They can deposit the money in your account by the next day. Very good overall experience, and I would do business with Macomb Auto again.

My husband and I did a lot of research when looking for a car. We found the car of our dreams, a Lexus GS 350 that we had researched and almost purchased new back in 2011, and flew to McCombs from New York to see it. Kathy was great in providing information over the phone, and when we got there she and Adam were both in the office and we were able to talk shop and they let us take the car to our own mechanic at the Lexus dealership for inspection. Everything claimed in the ad was as honest and upfront as possible,. The mechanic could tell that the vehicle had not been in a collision even though the carfax reported it as a total loss. In doing further research, I found that Carfax and insurance companies can Define "total loss" vehicles as those with 75% or more of its value in damage or a theft vehicle not recovered within 30 days. Interesting! We purchased that car and drove it 9 straight hours back to New York. The next day we took it to another Lexus dealership 4 a piece of Mind oil change and inspection and we got the same response as the original Mechanic- a great looking car with very low miles and a great value for what we paid! I totally agree! To top off that great experience we registered the car at the Troy DMV and they were awesome there as well! I am already researching another car purchase and Macomb is the first site I go to for a great deal on prices and honest and professional customer service. Thank you to all at Macomb!

BEWARE: Dealer sells "Rebuilt" title cars as "THEFT" cars. Do a carfax! Most have been written off as total losses due to collisions! "11/16/2014 Kansas Damage Report Accident reported Involving undercarriage impact Involving left front impact Involving front impact It hit an animal Disabling damage reported Vehicle towed" <-- This is listed as a "No issues theft vehicle with rebuilt title". SCAMMERS! Here is another for a "THEFT" Vehicle Dodge Dart: "07/29/2014 Michigan Damage Report Accident reported Involving front impact with another motor vehicle Moderate damage reported Airbag deployed" But yet on their car ads it states: "AS WITH ALL OUR CARS THIS IS THEFT RECOVERED UNIT, FREE FROM ANY DAMAGE , NO HIDDEN ISSUES, NO SURPRISES " B.S.... Here is another THEFT vehicle: "02/01/2015 Michigan Damage Report Accident reported Involving right front impact It hit a curb Vehicle ran off road Minor damage reported Airbag deployed CARFAX began reporting this information on 03/05/2015." Lies, Lies Lies. Why would you buy a car from a place that lies to you from the start? Not only that, but asking top dollar for Rebuilt title cars and then lying about them only being Theft vehicles? Amazing!!

I bought a 2011 Ford Focus SEL from here at a very good price. I was told about an airbag sensor problem up front. However, I had to get $1600 in repairs less than a month later (incl the sensor) and the mechanic said there was still something additional wrong with the suspension that would cost at least $600 more in the future. The airbag sensor was a simple $250-300 problem and I thought that was worth it, but was not satisfied with everything else happening. Also, they told me they would get me a key fob but never did. They also didnt give me any of the proper paperwork for the warranty, saying they were out and that they would get more later, but never did. Make sure you get everything up front and dont expect the car to be in great shape as they say. Still might be worth it depending on the price if you have $2000 extra cash lying around right after you buy a car. Disclaimer: I am NOT saying this is an unreliable dealership. This was just an unfortunate experience for me personally. Considering the great deal on the car, the repairs just brought it up to an average overall cost for the vehicle. I just personally did not have $2000 extra cash lying around for the repairs.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle a few weeks ago, and we could not be happier with the service, follow up, and vehicle! Kathy was very friendly, accommodating to my indecisive demeanor, she didnt rush us... and let us take our time deciding what was best for us. I previously worked finance at a large Michigan chain dealership - and they could learn something about the way to treat a customer! It felt like I was buying a car from an old friend. In regards to the negative comment about REBUILT titles - that isnt a secret. On the website: you can even find the VIN if you choose to run a carfax before purchasing. But Macomb discloses right in the vehicle description of its a rebuilt title and what the damage was... With that being said; If you want an excellent quality new vehicle, for a hell of a deal - GO TO MACOMB!!!

I was planning on purchasing a car from Macomb automotive group, prices looked great, and according to the ads all their cars are theft recovered and free from damage. I didnt even have to run a car fax, I put in the vin numbers to a few of the cars I was interested in onto a google search and found the cars in previous auctions with the damage to the cars stated. So I guess they mean the cars are currently free from damage, but that does not mean that they were never damaged. I emailed them and was told that the car I was most interested in did in fact have side impact damage, so they are honest when asked about the cars. I wish the ads had better descriptions. Free from any damage makes it sound like it was never damaged. If you are looking for a rebuilt vehicle they may be right for you.
