Hands down my best car buying experience ever! When we determined that we needed to purchase another vehicle, I did a lot of research on what vehicle would best suit our needs and narrowed it down to a particular model, a Chevrolet Trax. Then looking at our usage and budget, we decided a one or two year old model would be best. We then used the internet to locate suitable vehicles in our area, and looked at a few in person, but none of them had all the options we were looking for. So then I decided to expand the search radius and the perfect vehicle popped up... at Waynesville Chevrolet. I will admit to a bit of trepidation at the thought of traveling so far to buy a car... what if there were problems, will they care about treating an out-of-towner with the same respect as a local. Well, Im here to tell you, any such worries were completely unfounded. From my very first contact with the staff, I was made to feel comfortable and know that they would be responsive to my needs. I clicked on their website to request more information and got a personal reply within an hour (from Thomas Hopey) on a holiday weekend!! I was given information, not just a canned reply of come see us next week. In my case, they wanted to make sure the car was still available before I made arrangements, but come first thing Monday morning, we received a phone call letting us know it was available and setting up a personalized appointment with someone at the dealership. Then after driving the two hours to Waynesville, we were greeted warmly and paired up with a salesman, Billy Ray Bryant who couldnt have been nicer or more suited to us. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him, and he made the process go ever so smoothly. He was patient, got answers to every question and made sure the vehicle was just what we wanted. There was no haggling, no game play, no nonsense. He gave us the price, we told him our budget and he kept working until he got the price and financing to meet up with our needs. You cant ask for any more than that. And the paperwork process was smooth and pleasant as well. Kaleb Gulley walked us through everything, explained it all, no pressure, no rushing. And when I called with an issue after getting home, he was just as nice and helpful then as he was before we signed on the bottom line. In fact, several of the staff e-mailed and one called to make sure we were happy, that everything went all right and did we have any problems needing addressed. Wow. From the initial holiday weekend e-mails, to the after the sale followup and care... our experience was pleasant, worry free and I couldnt be happier with the deal that we worked out OR with my new Chevy Trax!!! Thanks staff and management of Waynesville Chevrolet Buick! Thanks for the great deal, treating us well and giving us an excellent buying experience!

BUYER BEWARE Pre-Sales was very friendly and accommodating, but the post sales experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. There has been several instances where I have been outright lied to and I will list a few of them below. I was told the scratch on my BRAND NEW 30 THOUSAND DOLLAR CAR would be taken care of if I bought the car. I took it in for the "Detail" work and to get the scratch fixed. What I got was a car DIRTIER than when I took it in, the detailing people didnt put protective mats on my leather seats and I would up cleaning black smudges from all within the car. (Reported this several times and all I got was "We will look into it and call you back" which never happened) on top of that there was a stripe of white wax down the car that I still have not been able to fully get out. All of this and the scratch was still on the bumper plain as day. The only excuse I got was "We will repaint the bumper, but the paint we use will flake and not match your car in under 3 years" I asked them for a trailer hitch instead of repainting the bumper and was promised a hitch and in fact the last conversation I had with them was "Yep we are going to order the part and call you when it comes in" well about a week later I called the parts department, the order was never placed and when the parts person asked the sales rep he said "Oh thats not part of the deal" which means he straight LIED to me when he told me he was ordering the part. On top of all of this, getting anyone EVEN THE GENERAL MANAGER to call you back is nearly impossible. I either leave messages or if I get a hold of someone it is "Okay we are going to make it right we promise, give me an hour and I will call you back" and never hear from them again. If you want to be valued as a customer, please stay far from this place because while you feel like a king while buying the car, after you sign you are nothing more than an after thought. P.S. These are just a couple of examples of what I have been through.

Took our 2012 Chevy Cruze to see what was wrong. It was purchased at a different chevy dealer and an extended warranty was purchased at the same time. At Waynesville Chevy they told us that several things needed to be done and several parts needed to be replaced. When asked about the warranty they neglected to even call and check just told us the warranty wouldnt cover it and it would cost approximately $1200. We went to the chevy dealer we purchased the car from in Morganton and they ran a free diagnostic and determined less than half of what Waynesville Chevy said needed to be done actually was necessary. They also said it was completely covered under the warranty all we had to pay was the agreed upon deductible. Can not believe this. Weve been to Waynesville Chevy in the past and been treated fairly however after this I dont know that Ill ever go back. Such a shame. I am editing this post to add that Dwayne the service manager did reach out to us and contact us after posting this review. We reached the conclusion that there was a misunderstanding and without going to much into the details we will consider returning to this dealer but with reservation. I appreciate and respect him reaching out to us to address our concerns. Dwayne is a good man.

Service Department at Waynesville Chevrolet -- I want to say "THANK YOU" for the fast response and customer service to my immediate concern while traveling. I stopped by, in my VW Jetta, this past Tuesday with the concern of a tire going flat as my tire indicator light came on during travel. Just four days earlier, I had a very dangerous tire blowout on the interstate and replaced that tire. Fearful of another blowout, I expressed my concern of having my 10-month old daughter in the car with me and asked the service tech to please check all four tires. The service tech had my car pulled back immediately and my car was on the lift within 5-minutes of my arrival. All tires checked out well (thankfully) and the tech explained that my indicator light is triggered by my ABS. Since I only replaced one tire and not two, the difference in tread could possibly be setting off the indicator light. I was able to get back on the road with a peace of mind. Thank you Waynesville Chevrolet for such a great experience while traveling through your beautiful world. Your customer service was greatly appreciated by this new mother!
