Heads up: the ice cream shop is located in the back of the Biggby coffee! This place serves legit liquid nitrogen ice cream! Everything Ive tried here has been amazing and theyre constantly coming up with new flavors ie. pumpkin for fall and Nutella! Affogato here is top notch, great for coffee lovers. Ice cream here is smooth as silk and packs a flavor punch. Loved how the peanut butter was chock full of peanuts. So good. Service here has always been excellent. Employees are always happy to explain how the ice cream is made or make recommendations. You are missing out if you have not come by here yet.

What a gem! A made to order, liquid nitrogen ice cream parlor hidden inside the Biggby on John R in Madison Heights. Lately during these summer months they have been slammed and the other day it was the first time I have seen them run out of flavors, so maybe if you are planning on having a particular flavor, might want to try to call ahead. My favorites are the biscoff(tastes like those Delta airline cookies), Coffee(comes with coffee grounds from Biggby), and Affogato(vanilla bean with a fresh hot shot of espresso from Biggby poured over). My Fiancée loves the Ferrero Rocher!

The place is nice. Service was ok. We were extremely disappointed with our Dragon Breath dessert. It never smoked for us. It was never even cold really. When we told someone about it, he explained it is only a 4 min deal. Well we didnt even get a 1 min experience. Just nasty stale cereal puffs w/ gross dipping sauce. Biggest waste of $6 bucks. Well you live and learn, I guess.

Fun time watching them make the ice cream with liquid nitrogen. The ice cream is super creamy. I grew up on Custard in Wisconsin and this might just be better than that. As pointed out by others you can wait a while for it. Especially if they have to change out the tank. However, the show of them making it is fun.

I have to agree with all the other fans of this place. You must go and try and dragons breath and be prepared to laugh and laugh while you eat it! They have super cool flavors, all made while you wait and even a super good non dairy option in the cookies and cream made with almond milk. Soooo good.

Great ice cream for an even greater cause. Every cup sold goes to provide water to those in need. Watching them make it in front of you with liquid nitrogen is really interesting to watch. Its located inside at the back end of the Biggby at John R and 13 Mile.

Id been to a similar place in South Korea that made ice cream the same way: topping syringes, kitchenaids, and N2. Nice Modern Creamery makes Waaaaaay better ice cream. Its actually creamy and doesnt have ice crystals like the one I had in Korea.

Expensive, not very customizable, and inconsistent quality from visit to visit. Ive had some very delicious ice cream here, but today was the opposite end of the spectrum. When its good, its great. When its not, I regret the $6+ per cup.

This is the real stuff thatll make you wink and nod and high-five with enthusiasm. Great ice cream from a place thats part of a Biggbys. They give me all the fuel to spring from activity to activity. And theyre open late on weekends.

Simply amazing. Great flavors and such fresh tasting ice cream. Definitely get a shot of some flavor (I always like the Nutella in the Ferrero Rocher ice cream) to inject in the middle of your scoop. Simple and dee-lish-us!!!

After their expansion they have smaller portion sizes they dont even fill the cup anymore. Its more of half a scoop than a full scoop. Not worth for a small that you pay almost $4 for. Use to be one of my favorite places.

A must try for the ice cream lover!! Ice cream is made fresh right in front of you and has a smooth texture. Try an espresso shot on top if youre a coffee lover. Located in the Biggby on John R. We will definitely be back!

I went there yesterday and they were totally out of nitrogen I was so upset I drove 30 minutes to get this ice cream until I found another place on yelp called I freeze it was very delicious and a great staff!

The texture of the ice cream is great, because of the nitrogen. However, flavor is average at best, similar to what you can find at McDonalds. Honorable mention for providing biodegradable spoons.
