Everytime I come to this location it is an awful experience. Why I only ever come here if no other store in the general area has enough of a fabric that I need. Wait times at the cutting counter are never less than 20 minutes even if youre the only one there. Today I had to wait for 5 minutes just for someone to notice I was there even though I went over to somebody and said that I needed something cut and then despite the computer saying there was enough of a fabric theyre absolutely wasnt and I have to wait 15 minutes for them to figure that out. When I had to change my mind on the fabric I needed because there wasnt enough I got a lot of attitude. The fabric that I changed my mind to was marked on the shelf as the same price as the other fabrics but when I got it to the counter it was twice as much and when I pointed out that the price on the shelf was different from the price I was charged they offered no discounts and no way to reconcile it and I had to end up putting that fabric back and they didnt have the replacement fabric and stock. When I got to the counter there were two people ringing up and 20 people in line cashiers were extremely slow. Any time I come to this location Im treated as though I am an inconvenience to whatever else theyre doing and not a customer who is paying money for a service and merchandise. This is only the third time Ive come to the store but three strikes and youre out if other stores dont have what I want I will just find something different because I am never setting foot in this location again.

OK, Lets be honest, this is Jo-Ann Fabrics, NO, this is a craft store! If you want to sew garments, go to Haberman Fabrics. This is where you go to get you basic needs. VERY BASIC NEEDS! THREAD, NEEDLES, SCISSORS, but if you need fabric of quality, dont waste your money. The standards of quality have gone so far down hill. It is no wonder the brick and motar stores are failing to the internet, these places are the cause, they carry 99% Made in China CRAP and not one thing that I went in for did they have. So did I go to Jo-Ann online, HELL NO! I found what I needed from a mom and pop shop on Etsy. Ta da. Screw you Jo-Ann

Had never been in a Joann fabrics before. Had an idea of what I needed fabric wise and a few other items but wasnt really sure. Asked a few ladies for help at the cutting desk or whatever. Said I needed some sort of nylon or waterproof material. She walked me to the nylon and said here. I said "hmmm Im not sure this is gonna work". "Sorry this is all we have", and walked off. I did a few laps around the store thinking maybe I could find other things I was looking for or someone would offer me some help. Never happened. I went in ready to spend money and buy materials, instead I left with nothing and extremely annoyed.

I dont dis-like it completely. But its stock is limited and hard to sort through, store seems small or overwhelmed. Always seems busy, service seems slow but the staff work hard and care, they dont always know what is where or even what they carry but they are really willing to help. If the sales are good and it is always busy and not just understaffed, this would be a good location to expand the floor space, retrain and add staff and offer more classes.

Slow cutting counter, slow registers, feels understaffed for the size of the store. If theres a coupon out for the weekend, make sure you go with an extra 45 minutes to spare because everyone and their mother shows up. Fabric selection is... okay. This is a good location for scrapbooking and jewelry items. Remember to check online for coupons, and they do accept competitors coupons as well! Has a public restroom (thank god).

Debi is slow and inconsiderate. She sat there and stared at me for 10 mins. I was the only one in line. Them when she came around the corner and took 10 minutes finished talking to her customer about where she lives, she told me to pull a number to get in line to pick up my held fabric. I WAS the line, honey!!!!

Go to another location! We needed direction and found no one to direct us. Then after finding our supplies we had to have material cut. Two ladies helping one customer for over 10 minutes (This was not a training session). Ask at the checkout where we may submit a suggestion. They dont have anything for that.

Slowest service I ever experienced. Im used to slow service at the Champaign branch, but this was a new low. It took them 45 minutes to measure the fabric I needed and check me out. The cashier pushed really hard to get my email even though I clearly said Im not interested. Too bad.

Great selection of products, but unfortunately the line at the check out is ALWAYS very backed up.. They never seem to have enough associates working the registers. I cant figure out why, either, because there seems to be more than enough employees wandering around inside the store.

I was pointed around quite a bit before I was able to finally find what I was looking for, but they have quite a good selection, so I can forgive it. Everyone there was also nice to talk to and the staff is also quite thorough in making sure your project will work. Im quite pleased.

The employees here were super friendly and downright lovely. They even helped us stack our coupons so we could get the best deal. Not the fastest people in the world but thats because theyre taking their time to help customers right the first time.

Ive been shopping here for years. They a great selection of fabric, yarn, crafting supplies, and seasonal décor. They have reasonable everyday prices and really good sale prices. This is a very busy store, so the lines tend to be long.

I went looking for drawing supplies and didnt have much luck. But then again this is a craft store, not an art supply one. The layout is not very good though, the adult colouring books were nowhere close to the art supplies.

I gave this store 3 stars only because they are always under-staffed and everything takes forever. The ladies at the cutting counter are great, but there are never enough of them. Same with the employees at the registers.

There is never enough workers on the register or on the floor. I have asked for items, told they didnt carry said item but, found it on my own. Have asked about certain products and been given the wrong advice.

Not the best Jo-Anns in my opinion. The fabric section isnt all in one area so trying to find what you want can be irritating. Id rather drive a little farther to a better location.

I consider this place a necessary evil. They have what I need, but the staff isnt very knowledgeable. Expect long lines to get your fabric cut followed by another long line to pay.

Needs to be cleaned or something. They usually have some really good deals on favric but not so much on their other craft like things. They have classes but Ive never taken them.
