I am the secretary of the Central Michigan Horsemans Association (C.M.H.A.) we host 7 weekend horse shows at the Shiawassee Co. Fairgrounds. We have worked directly with the owners and staff of the Wire Horse since they opened their store. Each show season they are very helpful and supportive of our organization with weekend high point award ideas, they have been a huge help and a very generous part of our year end awards program for several years. The owner Jenny J. has sponsored a work saddle the last three years for our fuzzy warm up show where all the profits are donated to the American Cancer Societys Relay for Life Cancer campaign, and has already sponsored the saddle for the 2014 fuzzy show. The Wire Horse has knowledgeable and friendly staff that are familiar with the current horse show atmosphere and trends. The Wire Horse has a very competitive, stylish, and variety of show clothing, boots, show equipment, trail equipment, etc. to meet the needs of a wide range of horsemen not just the horse show person. If they do not carry a product in the store they will find the product or similar for their customers. C.M.H.A. is very fortunate to have the Wire Horse in our "backyard"....THANK YOU for your support, generosity, and loyalty!!!

They are over priced, very greedy and judgmental!!! The owners and some of the staff are not helpful at all. I also would not put anything on consignment with them and they are very sneaky in they way they do business. The old saying, "you cant judge a book by its cover", is very true here!! You wont see their true colors until something happens to you. If you are there friends, relatives, etc. they will treat you fine. They act like the millionaires club and look down their noses at you. I will drive the distance to Grand Rapids to Millbrook Tack any day. They know what customer service is all about and are very helpful and friendly. The wire Horse doesnt seen to know that without customers, they would not be in business!!

I have known the owners of The Wire Horse for many years, long before they embarked on their journey to open a first-class tack shop. What wonderful, honest and dedicated people. They know horses, they understand what people need and want; and they cater to all levels of interests and abilities; both human and equine. This combination is tough to beat. The staff they have hired is like-minded, making the store very popular locally as well as nationally via their website and attendance at many equine trade shows across the country. Love ya! Our shopping experience here has been nothing short of AWESOME! Very professional and extremely helpful. We had a few items altered and very pleased with the results. Their clothes are very well made. They do a wonderful job at fitting and shaping hats. They have a huge variety on everything for horse and rider, and if they by some off the wall chance dont have it, they will get it!. Great selections and very hard to choose at times. Love them, they are the Best and very customer oriented!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! As soon as I walk in, I get big "hellos" and "How can I help you?". The employees are always willing to help, no matter if it is a big or little job. They have everything I need for both my western and English desires. Love going up to this store and always look forward to it! Ive had multiple saddles on consignment with great success. Great place to stop and shop. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are very reasonable especially when it comes to clothing alterations/repairs. They have pants, shirts, boots, button up and snap up show shirts, decorations, saddles, anything youd need equestrian related. Their clothing selection is great!
