I was shopping for a used Vibe and ended up at Sellers Buick-GMC. I mentioned to the salesman that (Andrew) that I was split between a Pontiac Vibe and a Toyota Matrix, since theyre basically the same car. Andrew didnt seem to know this. In fact, he didnt seem to know much about a Vibe at all. I test drove two Vibes that were equal candidates. I noted that both of them had surface rust on the rims (common problem on all Vibes and Matrixes with steel rims that I looked at) and very worn tires (15% tread remaining). One also had a large chip in the windshield and a badly scuffed/scraped wheel cover. This is not what I expect to see in a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. These items are supposedly checked and reconditioned as part of the GM CPO 172-point inspection. It makes me wonder what other items on the 172-point inspection were disregarded or missed! Regardless, I returned over a week later with my wife to do a final test drive and make a purchase. After the test drive, I sat down with Andrew to discuss. I asked if they would clean and paint the rims. If so, I would purchase the vehicle that night. He said absolutely not and started to lecture me about their warranties and all the benefits of buying from Sellers. I told him that I would be heading over to Serra Toyota to check out a Matrix instead. Then he got loud and preachy, telling me that buying a Toyota would be a mistake and that their warranty would not compare. He then said some things that made it clear he still didnt understand that the Matrix and the Vibe are the same vehicle. At this point, I got up and left, and went down to Serra Toyota. Sorry Andrew, Serra Toyota agreed to paint the rims on my Matrix, and made a sale that very night. And by the way, the Toyota CPO package exceeds the GM one with a 7yr-100K powertrain warranty (vs 5yr-100K), and a 30 day exchange policy (vs 3 days). It is likely that Sellers will not see me again. And by the way, watch out in their internet listings. I found several Vibe listings that had wrong engine sizes, transmission types, and wheel types. After informing Andrew of the misinformation in the listings, it was still not corrected two weeks later.

Tom Brown, the service manager, has always been honest and helpful. In a few instances, we were just out of warranty but Tom contacted GM and got most if not all of the costs of the parts paid for by GM, we just had to pay for labor. We had another issue with Henderson Glass in Canton, they replaced a windshield on our Enclave, twice each time it leaked, they said they did not know what to do, so we took it to Sellers and they got it right the first time and charged Henderson Glass. We traded in our Enclave and made the mistake of buying an Acadia from Bob Jeanotte in Plymouth, because they offered a vehicle with special pricing on what we were looking, only to find out that vehicle was sold a couple of days before and it took them all day to figure out how to get us that special pricing on the vehicle they had available. To make matters worse when the salesman was showing us features of the vehicle with the car running and after we purchased it, that the service engine light was on and would not go off, Im sure its fine said the salesman, service was gone for the day, just bring it in first thing in the morning, well take care of it. Well, they called at 10 am and said pick up the vehicle its all fixed, only to get there and have the service engine light still on. We dont know what else to do they said, all the diagnostics check out, we will need to contact GM technical assistance, well then the salesman was trying to be helpful, after not getting a call from service, on what was the issue and what had to be fixed. The salesman said that extensive work would have to be performed, and a new fuel pump would have to be ordered! They dont have the parts for a 2017 Acadia! Turns out the next day they realize it was a short in the wiring harness! All on a vehicle with 8 miles on it that should never of been sold to us! What aggravation for us, no offer of free floor mats or wheel locks, the best they could do was to say we are sorry, hope to see you again! Well, now we will only buy and get service from Sellers, that will be one mistake that we will never let happen again!

Sellers Buick GMC far surpassed my expectations and provided me with an exceptional car buying experience; from the first moment I stepped through the doors, until the moment I drove away in my new car. Andrea Milligan was my sales professional. I was impressed after our first interaction over the phone when she made it a point to ask me the right questions in order to fit me into the right car. She honored my appointment time, and her knowledge of their inventory and rebates really made me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase. She never pressured me or promised anything she couldnt deliver. I feel like Ive gained a new family member and will definitely refer my friends and family to Andrea and Sellers Buick GMC. Ive been to many other dealerships in the past and dealt with many salesMEN, and as a woman, having a sales professional who is also a woman was a very welcome change and made my experience all the better for it. She didnt make any assumptions about what she thought I needed in a new car just to make a sale. She asked the right questions to insure I was making an informed purchase with the car that fit me. I would also like to give kudos to Judy in finance at Sellers. Judy was phenomenal and got me the best financing based on my situation. Again, the care and attention to the customer shone through when it was time to finalize my new car purchase. Judys expertise and attention to finding the best financing options to fit me were a refreshing change from other dealerships who dont advise and provide you with all costs and fees that factor into the final price. I knew exactly what my taxes, fees, and other line items were during the whole financing phase. Thank you Judy! To summarize this lengthy review, Sellers Buick GMC has earned my respect and return business when it is time to purchase again in the future. This dealership is over 40 miles from my home, and I received a much better deal and customer care than I ever have in the past from my hometown dealerships.

I had to change my review of Sellers from a 5 to a 3. If I were just rating the service department I would give them a 1. Ive been a loyal customer with sellers for about 5 years now, (bought three cars from them), and although Ive had a pretty positive experience dealing with the SALES department of Sellers, (Lisa and Phil are great and honest people), the SERVICE department has gone downhill tremendously over the past few years. I cant tell you all how many times Ive been given a SPECIFIC time frame for my vehicle repairs to be complete and ended up waiting hours and sometimes even DAYS for my vehicle repairs to done. Sellers prides itself in open, honest, and constant communication with its customers but it seems the the service department hasnt gotten the memo. Even as I type this, Im having an issue with my new car and I was supposed to get a call from the service department about the part coming in for my car. Well I havent heard from anyone in almost two weeks, and on top of that, the only reason Im having this repair done is because one of the service technicians screwed up on a previous job that was done on my car so Im basically taking my car in for a repair OF a previous repair, how ironic is that!? This kind of quality of service is something that I would never expect from Sellers and its gotten worst over the past couple of years. Ive been doing my best to be patient and courteous with the Service department but Im very tempted to stop bringing giving Sellers my business, and, if this behavior continues from the service department, I will!
