Hometown Bicycle is synonymous with great service, impeccable expertise, honest dialogue and flawless integrity. I have been going to Hometown since they were first open to have my bike tuned up, tires changed, and equipment repaired. They have always taken the time to explain, demonstrate and assist in learning hands on the nuances of bike repair. I started out with a 40 year old 10 Speed Schwinn and then an online Montebecane road bike before I found Shaun. He always treated me with respect and interest in making the bikes I had work for me and never tried to up-sell me until I initiated the dialog in upgrading. He took a lot of time and expressed great interest in educating me and determining my needs and working within my budget to find the bike that would best suit my needs and budget. He wasnt interested in selling me a brand or up-selling me. He took a personal interest in finding the right bike for me and was willing to assist me in finding the right person for my much loved Motobecane. A match made in heaven was found. He had a "used" Lemond looking for the right owner that fit me perfectly and is helping me find a buyer who will appreciate and perfectly fit my Motobecane (which I loved and served me well in numerous Sprint and Olympic triathlons) Shaun and Dawn treat everyone like family and want what’s best for the individual. They go out of their way to make you comfortable in asking questions that never seem too "stupid" to answer, and are genuinely interested in making your bike experience no matter what level you are at perfect. Thank you Shaun and Dawn!!!!

I visited HomeTownBicycles recently and would not shop there EVER. I ordered a bike there paid for it in full up front and never got the bike. Store owner Shawn personally took my sale and ordered the bike (he said) and I would get it later that week or the following Monday. I waited until Monday and never heard from hometownbicycles so I waited a couple more days then drove over there to inqurire about the bike I bought. Shawn informed me the bike never arrived and he could only offer a refund. I accepted the refund and then Shawn called me later that day to say the bike came in but he dropped it and the forks were bent so he couldnt sell it but he would order another set of forks and call me when he had the bike built and ready. 3 weeks have passed since I last spoke with the bike shop and doubt they have any intention of calling me or helping me as they have shown no interest in it. I have since looked at bikes at Town & Country and Howell cycle and will buy something from one of them. Im actually glad this happened I liked the staff and stores at the other places much more. You Have Been Warned! Carl

Since I have started riding again, no one else has touched by bike (including myself) since they tuned up a bike sitting in storage for 15+ years. These are the best folks in the area to repair, sell, educate and tune up your bike. Everyone in the store is extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Never have they tried to over sell me, recommend something I dont need, nor have they pushed any kind of product on me. They are all good people, providing fantastic service at a very reasonable/honest rate. I dont trust anyone else to help me with my biking needs and I recommend them to anyone that will listen to me about their biking needs. I can never thank these guys enough for keeping my interested in cycling, and keeping me on the road. They contribute to the community on a number of levels and help make the area a great place to live. The future looks great for Hometown Bicycle, I encourage you to check them out for ANY biking needs!

What every person wants in life is to feel listened to, cared about, and feel they are important. At Hometown bikes that is exactly what happened for me when I bought my first road bike from Shaun. I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted to buy. Shaun asked me many questioned in order to figure out what would fit for me. He then educated me on the Jamis brand and cared about which bike would best fit my needs. When my bike came in he had me come into the shop and help him assemble it. Therefore, empowering me to understand how it runs and how to maintain it giving me a sense of ownership. When I met his wife and told her how excited I was to have my first bike, she shared my enthusiasm. In todays world it is so nice to feel listened to and cared about in a business where they clearly love what they do. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy at bike to do it at Hometown, best in town.

We went there because my disabled son had a bmx bike that, he bought with the "shop with a hero program" at Christmas, that needs training wheels. I had purchased the training wheels but i couldnt get then on the bike. The employee that greeted us and therookies who was assembling bikes suggested purchasing as new wheel. They also suggested a different type ifof training wheels. Meanwhile Sean, the owner, came over. He suggested yet another toype of training wheels abd then took my bane, number and email so he could look for further answers. I love that they made suggestions, understood that some options were not affordable for us, and understood that at this time learning to ride a two wheeler was not an option for my son. They also took the time to answers the thousand questions my son had and to engage him in helping to "look" at his bike.

My wife and I have only been in the area for about a year and needed someone to maintain my bicycles. I average about 75 miles a week. Shawn , the owner is always friendly when you enter the store and his staff very helpful. My repairs have been done timely and reasonably priced. I took my wife in to get a new bike and to make sure she was fitted properly. His staff was knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right type of bicycle to fit her needs. The price was reasonable and she was very happy with the purchased. Her biggest concern was to have a basket on the front to take our 6 lbs. Yorkie for a ride. Shawn suggested a basket and mounted it prior to delivering the bike to our house. His first ride Jackson, the dog gave it 5 stars. Friendly, dependable and timely repairs and some great bikes that are reasonable priced.

Honestly I think this bike store is Irresponsible because my experience with them has been very unprofessional for a 4.8 star business. They told me that my bike was going to be here on that very day but it came 2 days late? So I understand the problem here + I needed my bike repaired on a Friday so I called them and he said he would come Sunday himself, I waited all day and the person never came ++ we ordered led lights "50 $ each" he said there was a manufacturing problem witch is understandable the part Im upset about is he never contacted us? Im just really confused that when I left a bad review and he called my mom and started complaining to her about how they didnt deserve a 1 star ⭐️/I got a 1 star service thats why I gave a one star review
