I ordered a gueen size mattress and box springs. I have not had them a year yet. The middle is sagging. So a rep comes to my house and does his thing. So today I get a call saying the warranty is void because I didnt have a middle board I was told that I had to have there $80.00 mattress pad or the warranty would be void. So I bought that. I was never told I needed a middle board for support or the warranty would be void. Well I didnt have the board. It will be a year in February that I have had this thing. It will be paid off next month as well. Looks like they must think I will just say ok to them. Well they are real wrong. They have the wrong person this time. If it needed a board why didnt they tell me that? Right now Im sick. But you can be real sure as soon as Im feeling better I will be walking with a sign about how they treat there customers. If they had said get aboard I would have asked what size and would have done that. But ya just think it should have lasted longer than a year. Well look for me in Facebook and twitter and maybe in the local paper. Tired of being treated like this. Work to Hard for our money. So beware Gardner white. Im coming for you. Barbara Corcoran

At the beginning of December my husband & I decided to get a new sectional. So off to Gardener White we go since they had a sale going on. We found a sectional we liked but wanted a different color than the floor model so we were told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver it. They delivered the couch right before new yrs only they sent a chair instead of the wedge to connect the couch. We called our salesman Jim only to be told that he was busy with a customer & would call us back. 2hrs later we called back & again he was too buzy to talk. Finally after the 4th call we spoke with a manager. Apparently Jim had ordered the wrong piece & that it would take another 3wks to deliver. So again they call to schedule delivery & guess what? Its the wrong color. So now were furious & have to wait ANOTHER 3wks before recieving the proper piece. So. 2 1/2 mths later we FINALLY have our $2500 sectional. The only thing they did to make up for their chain of mistakes was to refund $100 of the deposit. Same day delivery my ass....

My fiance and I recently went to Gardner White in Brighton to look at bedroom furniture and a mattress. We were greeted by multiple staff members upon entering Gardner White and a salesman named Kevin lead us around the bedroom furniture and told us about features of certain outfits. We were pleasantly surprised after learning about the sales going on, as well as the free gift promotion which allowed us to purchase the bedroom outfit that we really wanted without going over our budget. After Kevin learned that we also wanted a mattress he brought in a mattress specialist whose name was Becky. Becky was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we laid on multiple mattresses and debated back and forth as to which mattress to get. Our first furniture buying experience was great. We never felt pressured or uninformed. We received next day delivery and absolutely love our bedroom furniture and mattress ! Once our budget allows, we look forward to returning to Gardner White to shop for living room furniture!

I purchased a sectional and ottoman, mattress set and bedroom set from the Gardner-White location. The salesman was very nice and delivery was prompt. An issue arose, however, when the delivery drivers were VERY close to forgetting my ottoman on the truck. I chased them down just in time and had them bring it down. Unfortunately, they also forgot a $140 shay nightstand that I caught much too late. I have been in contact with this stores customer service rep, Kathy and with the stores general manager, Shannon and basically have been told that because I signed the paperwork, the nightstand was delivered, in their records and there is nothing they can do. I spent THOUSANDS at this store. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. Very shady and deceptive business practices. Make sure you watch the deliveries like a hawk. I also tipped the delivery drivers $30. Now I wish I had not because they are thieves.

Very disappointing experiences with this location. My wife and I purchased two pieces of furniture and the day before delivery they called saying only one was available. I had to follow-up every day throughout the next week to have them deliver the second piece....a week later! Then the table I bought needed a minor repair so we submitted a service request for the next week. When we didnt receive a courtesy call the day prior to the scheduled service date, we called this location only for them to say that the appointment was not scheduled. Besides the aforementioned experience above, we were displeased with how the sales people treated us. At times we felt pushed and at other times felt like we could not get a straight answer for some of the questions/concerns we had. This is a competitive industry with many different places to shop for furniture, thus there is no need to go to Gardner White.

After 16 straight on time or early payments I was getting close to paying off my loan so I decided to log on to my online banking and double up the payment. Somehow this causes the double payment to be 1 day late and they charged me 25 dollars late fee! Then for some odd reason 2 days after that there was a 2 dollar " minimum monthly charge" fee! What the heck is that?! After stopping in at Gardner white to beg them for forgiveness all they would say is that I needed to talk to comenity bank. So I call them, and after an hour, and getting the run around from 4 different people they refuse to help me with the late fee. Getting any kind of service on their accounts is nearly impossible. I would have thought I was a star customer. Buyer beware! I will take my business elsewhere from now on. Shame on Gardner White!

I went into this store on Saturday October 31, 2015. I was greeted by a young man and asked what I was looking for. I advised him that I was looking for a mattress/box spring set to replace one Ive had since 1992. The young man introduced me to Becky Miller the Sales person . Becky proved to be very knowledgable; answering my questions. I tested the mattresses and opted for the Serta iComfort Medium in a queen size set. Getting through the credit paperwork was very easy, I was told I qualified for 5 yrs interest free and a 40 flat screen TV. Who could beat that? Not the competitor in Howell, thats for sure. Delivery went smoothly, the delivery team was polite, efficient and explained everything and left. FIVE STARS!!!!!

I really dont know how this company is open. By far the worst customer service i have ever delt with. It took four months to get my furnature and dont think i wasnt getting a bill after the first month. Then as im inspecting the furnature the scum bag hurries downstairs gets my wife to sign off even though i noticed him taking a picture of the huge scratch in the very front in which he denied. Well it only took about ten phone calls to the store management and another two months to have them deliver the replacement. Exclude customer service and you would be left with firewood ill be lucky to get three years out of this stuff WASTE OF $2247.18 thanks stephen fisher and daniel logie for the life lesson never shop there again
