So today I go to buy the HP stream laptop (mine crashed and I needed the cheapest yet efficient for basic functions for class) so almost $300 with tax plus I bought the CD drive and virus software. The associate offered me Microsoft 360 with word, excel etc. for $50 more I said sure because I will need it. all together I paid around $380 for everything which was fine. I get home open the box and surprise Microsoft 360 was INCLUDED with the purchase of the laptop. So now I have two. I called and let them know they sold me a product that was already included in my purchase and you know what she told me? That they MIGHT be able to refund but it will most likely be a store credit. I havent went up there yet because I am in class (on break to write this review) but tomorrow I will most likely walk into the store very angry. The RIGHT thing to do is completely refund me the $50 since the associate didnt bother to check what was included in the purchase, the Microsoft 360 is unopened and I obviously have my receipt. If I dont get my money back I will be furious.

Best Buy becomes a Used Car salesman experience...Went to this store to pick up a pre-ordered phone and while the cell phone associate was transferring data from my old phone to the new one, they suggested I go over and learn about a new home security system from vivint. I wasnt that interested in a home security system, but since i had time to kill while my new phone was being set up, I entertained the lonely salesman pitch. After getting an ok explanation of the system by a vivint sales person, it turned to a sad and desparate, "what can I do to earn your business today" line. Pressuring me to sign a $1500 equipment and $50/month monitoring contract. Actually, the system itself seemed decent, but the high pressure sales tactic scared me away. Beyond that, I dont expect this at all at a Best Buy, they used to pride themselves on "non-commission" sales associates. Having the cell phone team "hand me off" to the vivint salesman was a clear reversal of this "non-pressure" sales approach. Sorry Best Buy, you have lost my business, Amazon here I come.

Ive gone to this Best Buy for many years with no problem with the wonderful staff there. Unfortunately this time wasnt so nice. I went there with my family( they speak broken English). If your looking for new kitchen appliances, look forward to someone that is rude, pushy& wanting you to buy the most expensive model there. She showing us around to the newer models with all this fancy items. As family that didnt have a much in our home country, we wanted something simple with a company we trust. She didnt not understand that. We thought going to Best Buy the staff could help us out in choosing the right one with a great price. As the 3 of followed her around up and down the lanes , she asked questions I answered. My answers werent good enough for her. She waited until my family wasnt around and said I was being rude. As a person that works two jobs that deals with customers, I would have never said to anyone that they were being rude. We will not be shopping at this store for kitchen appliances.

I visited the Bloomfield Hills store located on Telegraph near Square Lake on Thursday 6/8/2017 to pick up a 32 inch Insignia flat screen TV and the customer service was AWESOME!!! Upon entering the store I was greeted in a friendly manner and the young lady at the Customer Service in-store pickup counter was friendly and professional. Although I was there to pick up a TV I also purchased a car phone charger and the young lady at the counter assisted me with that too! This was the first time I ordered something online and decided to select the in-store pick-up option. The TV is GREAT! It was very easy to hook-up and the picture is crystal clear with a nice volume! I am very pleased with my experience and will be making additional purchases at BEST BUY. It was definitely a BEST BUY experience from the reasonable prices to the customer service! P. Wow i cant believe the bad service i got here. First off the dont have any of the updated computers. They have laptops... none with touch screen. I went there to buy a yoga 3, a product that is best buy exclusive and they dont stock it and tried to sell me a far less superior product instead. They didnt end up having that either. Due to the fact there not a "real" best buy according to the sales person. I was treated by very rude people and when i tried to find someone else who was friendly, He told me he couldnt walk the 2 feet to out of "his area" and directed me to the first jerk. I will not ever go back in fact if i do need anything at best buy, that i can not get somewhere else, i will order it or drive past this one to go to another. That building would serve better as an empty space than a best buy.

I cant complain about my last visit there last week to drop off a laptop for slow operation. Geek Squad were helpful and fast. As I scoured the racks for a phone protector, at least 5 sales people asked if I was finding what I needed. Maybe a little overkill, but better than the opposite! Geek Squad said it would be about 5 days to get the computer back. I waited 6 days before calling. They said it was ready, and I could pick it up. Hmmm, Im wondering if the laptop was ready earlier, and if they might never have called me. Now Im suspicious....not a good customer reaction. BTW, thanks for getting rid of that awful Gardner White furniture in half your store!

recently visited here to look for a 2ds/3ds they had none also they did not have any wii(s) or wii u(s), the selection of video games has shrunk, although being one of the few places that still lets you play demos or full games in-stores is why I gave it 3 stars. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about most of the products there, but it wouldnt hurt if they did some research to find out more information for the tech geeks like me, so they dont look dumbfounded when I ask a question about stuff or repeat what they said before because they dont know the answer and hope I wont notice.

Came in w/ my wife to complain about a faulty aftermarket iphone case she purchased. Went through 3 reps that were not only useless but rude and indifferent. Finally, a manager was called. Robyn not only took care of the case, but she showed my wife a better case and sold us that and a great screen protector as well. My wife is happy now so we did not mind paying extra when we only drove out here to get our money back. This manager not only earned our business and satisfied my wife, but she is the only reason we will ever come back to this location to make a purchase again.

Horrible customer services will track your returns and sell defective product than tell you, you cant return anymore for a year and go back 3 years to justify return 5 return in 3 years mostly defective laptops and They didnt have any other choices in-store for laptops with independent graphic card was when windows 10 came out and Lenovo had issue with the GeForce graphic drivers tried 3 laptops and had to return them all and now I cant return good job best buy
