Saturday, 7/15/17 I saw a 2010 E150 van that I was interested in (Autotrader). I filled out the section that outlines my interest. Less than 5 minutes later a sales person from Atchinson Ford calls me. I said that Im interested and that I was currently out of town. We set Wednesday, 7/19/17 as the date we will meet. I said I can be there at 4pm. The sales person requested 4:15pm. We agreed to meet at 4:15pm. Saturday, 7/15/17, 1:28pm, Atchinson Ford sends text confirming our appointment. Wednesday, 7/19/17, 9:08am, Atchinson sales person calls me to confirm our appointment at 4:15pm. I traveled the 30min to the dealership and arrives at 4:10pm. I walk into the preowned auto office and speaks to the sales person sitting to my right. He acknowledges my interest and immediately says the van has been available for two days and now "...theres a deposit to hold it.." I was taken back and asked that he repeat what he said. He did. I ask why didnt anyone just contact me? He stated that I may have been dealing with "Johnathan" and he may not have known the van was sold... But he stated that he will confirm the "deposit hold" and for me to still go see the van... I went to look at the van and about 5 minutes later the sales person arrives and says the van was sold. I asked him the same question..."Why didnt someone at least call to let me know..." I would have avoided traveling all the way to Bellville after a long day at work and still suffering from Jetlag after spending a month inside a Cleveland plant. He stated, "...just call tomorrow and see if the van is still available... weirder things has happened.. you never know..." I responded, "what if I just give you my number and you contact me...". He agreed and I left. Three things I got out of that experience... 1) If what the sales person said is true and the van was sold and is no longer available, Atchinson could have at least gave me the courtesy and called me before hand. I could have avoided the hour I took out of my day just to find out it meant absolutely nothing. 2) I got the impression that Atchinson did not want my business. The fact that the sales person encouraged me to call them as opposed of them calling me reinforced my thought that they had no interesest in my business. 3) Why should I revisit Atchinson after that experience? There were a 7hr window from the moment I got the courtesy call to verify our appointment to the time I arrived. There should have been an attempt to communicate with me. I thought I was a potential customer. I didnt get that impression. I may have conceded that the van was sold and inquired about other vehicles or future vans. Now, I just dont believe I would get the respect or courtesy at Athcinson Ford. Maybe Ill get the respect that I deserve elsewhere?

We bought a vehicle from Atchinson Ford about five years ago, and we returned just last week to purchase another vehicle. Our awesome experience with Norm Wisniewski five years ago, is what caused us to return! The customer service; attention to detail and the customers needs is untouched at Atchinson. My husband and I are really huge on a good experience, especially when we are spending our hard-earned money! This time, we walked into the newly renovated Atchinson Ford dealership (which looks and feels amazing btw) and we were IMMEDIATELY greeted with a smile and a welcoming spirit! Steve greeted us first, but we told him about our experience with Norm years ago, and he insisted we go back to him for this transaction as well! That spoke volumes to my husband and I, because that showed the teamwork thats encouraged at Atchinson. Also, the manager; Brandon Sanders was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with! He is an excellent manager with the right mindset, and he has a created a warm, friendly business environment for every person that walks through the door! Overall, GO to Atchinson Ford and no where else! They care about you as customer, and a human being! Above all, they want to help you get into the vehicle that you desire! I cant reiterate enough how grateful my husband and I are for Norm and all the staff at Atchinson Ford in Belleville! We have visited other Ford dealerships in the area, and NONE compare to Atchinson! Thank you Norm from the bottom of our hearts, and ALL the staff under the leadership under Brandon S.!! See you soon for our next vehicle!

Bought a used car from them in roughly March of 2016. One week later the fuel switch went, and then 2 days later the fuel pump went. They fixed it for a huge discount and I thought everything was fine. 6 months later, and Im the owner of an $8,500 paper weight. I now have to get an engine for it. Bolts are missing that connect the engine to the transmission. After 30 seconds of looking the oil change place I took it to for a routine oil change found this. They "claimed" that they changed the oil right before I bought it, yet no one took the time to tell me about the missing bolts. So please, stay away from any used car purchases from this place. Youll regret it. They either dont do ANY form of inspection, (not even visual, as missing bolts were obvious) or they did and purposely lied to me to make a sale. I will make sure to tell my friends to never buy from this place either. Just an FYI, as is still has a 30 day window in which if anything goes wrong on the engine, the dealer is responsible for the repairs. The dealer I bought my first car from told me this, because he wasnt looking to scam me. Atchison does an inspection on all vehicles they take in. I found this out from one of their former mechanics. They never once told me there was three bolts missing that connect the engine to the transmission. Any HONEST dealer would have.

Lack Customer SATISFACTION... I spoke with 2 sales reps in THE Service Department explaining the situation. I told them how my son had came back 2xs after service was completed on the vehicle. They give me the same lines they gave my son. Only for me to leave there & take the vehicle to 3 different shops to get an opinion. Each shop said THE SAME THING! The shops had no affiliation with the other. Then, I asked to speak to the Service Manager Steve & he says " Well, their technicians only do what the paper says"... What???? So, IF u tell them to replace something & u get the side of the vehicle wrong ... the technician doesnt inspect it first they just do it? He says "Yes"... Thats not QUALITY INSPECTION OR WORK... So, the technicians replaced something that was already new.... Im shacking my head at this sadness. In return he offers me $20.00 off the total price of $150.00. Basically, I have to buy the same new part over to be put on the correct side that I originally told the Service Sales Associate. I dont suggest going there & telling them whats wrong. Because, they might mix up your left from their right. Let them tell you & if it matches up with previous quotes make your decision. Because, I went in for a simple fix!

Ironically, I had an appointment today, (July 22nd at 12:45) for the SAME van that Karn had an appointment for on July 19th!! I received an email & a text July 21st to remind me. I drove an hour only to be told by Estill when we walked in the door that the van had LITERALLY JUST SOLD!! Also, my appointment was supposed to be with Brandon Sanders who wasnt even working that day!! I talked to a manager who tried to lie by first saying that it sold the day before. When I told him what Estill said, he said it was probably "delivered" today but sold yesterday. Also, Estill said that when he said that "it literally just sold", he said that he didnt mean today!! This was AFTER he lied & told us & the manager that he didnt say that. When we pointed out that on the board that is hanging in Brandon Sanders office that lists "sold" cars, by who & the date, that the van wasnt on there, the manager again used that "sold" vs. "delivered" line. Im not sure why this dealership lied to both Karl & me? Maybe one of the employees is buying it but theyre not allowed to until its been on the lot for a certain number
