Unfortunately our experience was far from satisfactory. We took our bicycles in for a tune-up. Originally told no charge to have them look the bikes over - wanted all the cables replaced as they were getting rusty. Once we were there got upsold on just about everything and then told $90 each bike for them to look them over. Okay we agreed to that. Then when notified they were ready to pick up, cables had not been changed and one bike had a flat tire.....not flat when we dropped them off. Just sayin. So left the bikes again and a few days later back to pick them up. Everything looked ok, paid and back in the car and looked at invoice. Charged to tune up 3 bikes! Only took 2 bikes in for work. Overall, happy with improvements but it was a hassle when it should not have been. They did discount our bill for the inconvenience which I appreciate BUT if I had not reviewed my invoice we would have been out a lot of money.

Not impressed. When I entered the store I was barely greeted, every employee seemed very busy with their own activities. This is donwtown Battle Creek. Come on. I would think you would jump to anyone that comes in the store. Finally, the lady behind the counter yelled over to see if someone could help me. Feeling like a stupid ass sitting there waiting for someone to bother to come talk to me. Then the guy asked if I wanted to pet his dog? No I dont. Why would you ask that? I have 10 minutes to look at some bikes. So show them to me. Overall the sales guy did know his stuff but it could have gone a lot smoother. Need to work on efficient, friendly, and targeted customer service.

Mandy seemed super cool, she showed us around the place even though we were there very early in the morning. The test track was awesome, Ive always wanted to ride one of those huge Surly Fat Tire bikes... super fun! One downside... while we were there, I heard one of the mechanics going on a rather loud rant with colorful swear words about something to do with a customers bike. It seems like a cool place to shop, but with that kind of mechanic attitude... id take my bike to get fixed elsewhere.

I purchased my very first full suspension mountain bike here...Mike was awesome, the team in general was good overall! My only complaints are my bike wasnt set up for me, I came home did my research and the shock pressures were way too low, I had a water bottle holder installed and you cant even fit a water bottle in it ... I believe this should have been checked by the installer.

Team Active is one of the best bike stores Ive visited. Great selection of Trek and Cannondale road, mountain, and hybrid bikes as well as Electra Townies and custom Seven bicycles are available. All types of clothing and tri gear is available also. Mike is great and has a fantastic staff that is helpful and friendly. Willy and Daryn provide the best service Ive ever had.

Bought my first serious Trek Mountain bike here. Every employee was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Providing the same service time and time again for bike service, etc. As for the bikes, there is a huge selection that range in cost. I absolutely love my Trek Marlin 5. I would, and do recommend Team Active for anything bike related.

Awesome service, Mike the owner is very nice and friendly and Alex, one of their techs fixed my broken crank in a jiffy. Prices are good, staff is friendly, local is clean with plenty of room to walk around and gear to look at and purchase. If I break down again while on the road, I want that shop to be close to me...

Great bike store! Great inventory and they have a track with obstacles up stairs to test ride on quickly! Their guarantee on bike satisfaction is what got me to drive 20 mins out of town when I had 3 stores in town. Mike the owner took great care of me and Ive been reccomending them ever since!

Had a wonderful experience when buying my wife her first "real" bike!! They have plenty of selection to choose from and with the indoor course, it makes it fun and an easy shopping experience. Im looking forward to doing business there again when i go and buy a bike.

I have shopped the store and they have a very good selection of bikes and the staff are knowledgeable. However, I have never purchased anything more than accessories from them mainly because of convenience. I will be shopping here.

Not very helpful wanted extensions for my bike handle bars showed me the one set they had and walked away got them home and there is NO WAY they will fit on my bike. waste of 20.00 and my time, thanks for the help NOT!

The mechanic put a BB in my tube. This is uncalled for on so many levels. You bring the bike in to get fixed and they deliberately put a BB in the tube so it would rattle. You have been warned!

im bery pissed had bike tuned up and supposedly a $8.99 intertube replaced got bike home been sitting for a couple wks went to ride tofay and tire went flat.
