Why I will never visit Philbrick Motors Sports Again – A little back history ~ I have followed their Facebook page and tend to look over their website to see what’s available. Recently I’ve been in search of a small ATV to pull a garden trailer and to use on our property. I found a Kawasaki listed on craigslist on the NH section and it said it was at Philbrick’s. So being friends with them on FB I messaged about it. I was told to call his dad about it, in which I did. I asked about the condition of the four wheeler just to be sarcastically, told didn’t you see all the pictures online. And I said well yes I did, but I just wanted your personal opinion of it. He said he was on the road and couldn’t help me, but if I needed to call back later he would go over every square inch of it. This again seemed very sarcastic like. “Right here I should have decided to stay away” However I decided to leave work early yesterday and make the hour trip there to check it out. When I arrived I went to the showroom only to be ignored for ten minutes well 2 employees discussed what they had available for ski guides and a track mat for a snowmobile trailer. I know you might be busy, but sales person 101 here, at least acknowledge my presence. I was the only customer in the building at the time as well. When I was asked if they could help I explained why I was there, and I told him I was there to see the Kawasaki 220, and he said do you know what model it is. And I said the bayou I think. I got send out back to a building and was told to find another employee who could show it to me. The other person opened up the building and I had to climb over several atvs just to get to it. They had no interest in showing it to me or offering to start it. They wanted me to make an offer and decision to buy it before they would pull it out. So I asked if I could make an offer as it was on consignment. I was told to go out front, and it could be as fast as a phone call or 1 week before I heard back. I went out front just to stand by a locked door as the other sales person was gone. I stood there for 10-15 minutes before I decided to walk around to the back. I found the guy looking at a sled on the back of a truck. Stood there for another 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. I told him I would like to make an offer, and offered $1,100 as there were asking $1,500. They called and the guy said no, which is fine. But they gave me no chance to counter and said nothing other than the guy said no. How about asking to meet in the middle, or talking about other options you may have. I had “CASH” in hand. I work in sales, and if I treated my customers like this I wouldn’t have a job. On a side note, I left a 1 Star Facebook review, just to be slandered about it and have him post a conversation that I had with him on Facebook when I said I didn’t find them helpful. Do you really want to work with a dealer that has no respect for your privacy or personal information? F.Y.I they also like to promote people to give them a 5 star rating on Facebook to offer up the chance to win things. Probably to try and cancel out the negative reviews. Worst experience at a power sports dealer!

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER!!! I drove 4 hrs to look at a 2010 Tracker bass boat that was, by verbal description, in "showroom condition". "10 hrs on motor". "The previous owner died of cancer and his wife had to sell". I found the boats condition to be less than show room to say the least. Although the boat was beautiful and at first glance was "like new", there were 3 welded patches on the hull and a small amount of fresh oil evident on the lower transom. The boat had obviously been in an accident. I was willing to give Roy Sr. the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he didnt notice the patches and was duped himself by the previous owner. But after he proceeded to inform me these patches were common in the industry ("probably where the transducer for the fish finder was rigged"), It became apparent to me he was a liar and was trying to sell me an "as new" boat that clearly was not. I backed out of the sale and, fortunately got my $200 deposit back. I should have been suspicious from the start as his customer service skills were poor at best. He was very abrupt, condescending and frustrated with the questions I had about the boat and the process of purchasing a boat that could not be test driven (winter). I told him up front I had never purchased a boat. A normal person would have tried to be sympathetic and a little more tolerant to my concerns. Having said all of the above, his son, Roy Jr. (who I believe owns this part time company) was always helpful. I wonder if he is aware his dad has such poor ethics and morals.

Never shop here!!!!! Worst dealer EVER. Super unprofessional. Drove 1.5 hours to see a busted up quad with a hole in the muffler and broken parts. Salesperson took a phone call leaving us outside with a quad never to return! Absolutely no service at all. Got it running on our own and tested to have owner come out screaming at my 5 year old and her dad for trying it out..... Then in my husbands face name calling and chest bumping and trying to brawl. Are you serious?? Owner is a filthy name-calling indecent excuse for a human. Never...I repeat never go here. Not unless you want your family verbally and physically assaulted and your kid crying!! DISGUSTING!!!

listed my and my wifes sleds and trailer on clist . just to be contacted by some one at this place. (thought they were a private buyer ) made 3 dates for him to see the sleds, just to be blown off. told him not to contact me any more and waste my time. then I was contacted by (roy ?) the owners son? he wanted me to bring them down, then made a "internet" offer for the package ( it was the price of 1 sled he wanted to pay!) the place is a joke and not worth the time .

This guy is a joke- he buys kids 120 sleds on craigslist and then marks them up a ton at his store. You are better off buying on craigslist! I listed my sons 120 for sale and he constantly emails saying "drop off at my store" or "upgrade to a larger sled"--dont waster your time!!! I would give him 0 stars if I could!

Great business to deal with. I wanted a used machine at a reasonable price. Not only did I get the snowmobile I wanted but it came with a 30 day warranty. I got the sled home and it being used had a couple hick ups I contacted roy brought the machine down and I was back on the trail in no time. Thanks again! Josh
