I dealt with the manager Kevin and Lou in sales. In the beginning it was great, very helpful answered all my questions, filled out the application and they got me approved. I had a few errands to do, explained that I would try my best to make it there before they closed. Cleaned my car inside and out got my grandson to go with me for the 1hr and 45 min ride. I called to tell them that i was on my way and to my surprise I was told someone else was looking at the vehicle and they were waiting to see if they were approved and if they wanted it. I just couldnt believe it. I was ALREADY approved and on my way for they long ride and they didnt even call me to see if I was still interested since I inquired first. That experience was so bad I am still sick over it. Then they had the nerve to leave me a message apologizing and if there is any way they could help me to make it right. (Yea, and how are you suppose to do that)? Whats up with these dealerships? How can they sell a car right out from under you if your not there in the split second that it goes on the lot. Are they that desperate that they need to do this? This car was already approved I signed the application on line like they asked me, they pulled my credit and I was approved with the bank. They had no right to sell it before I had the chance to get there. No one mentioned anything about a deposit. I told them I would put a thousand down. That was my deposit. That vehicle should have been held until I had a chance to make my decision. The other party hadnt even got an approval yet when I was on the phone with them. Bad business! I would never purchase a car from them and never would my face book friends.

I dread car shopping! Seriously. It took me 6 weeks to find my last car. This time, my husband looked online, found the make and model we wanted at Modern Auto. This car was IMMACULATE. I have never seen an 8 year old car so well detailed. And no matter how far and wide we looked, we could not find another Toyota Corolla in such good shape for the same price. Max was the first salesman we met. Hes polite, no pressure, & I was surprised to find out hes 17! I wanted to do the usual "bullhorn" haggling approach. (Im Mexican. We love to haggle.) But Max is pretty chill. The next day I tried it again on Joe. But honestly, there wasnt a need. Joe brought the car to our house, explained everything in detail, & both my husband and I realized that we were getting a great car and a great deal. Joe even took our car as a trade in. And drove it back to the lot. We never had to leave our house. This place has really, really nice used cars. And is actually a nice experience. The owner and his family value integrity, ownership, & service. I would check this place out first.

To say Joe and his team will go above and beyond to make their customers happy is an understatement. I found myself in a really rough spot both financially and credit wise and just overall the vehicle I was in. When I first went to Modern Auto Sales they tried very hard but just couldnt get me in a new vehicle (I have to emphasize I was NOT in a good position to get a new vehicle) but then I got a call to come in and sit down to go over some options. They came up with a plan that I was warned may take some time but that they would get me into a new vehicle. Low and behold here we are about 2 months after several car dealers told me I was screwed and would not be out of this car for a few years. I signed my paperwork and will be taking home my (brand new to me) vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Modern Auto Sales. They will make sure you are pleased with the vehicle you are in, and even if it takes time they make the impossible happen!!

Overall, buying my first car at Modern Auto Sales was an excellent experience. Just by browsing through the lot, you can tell that the cars are kept in great condition. But what truly impressed me was the staff. Not only were the people I worked with very personable and respectful, they worked very hard to find me great financing as a first time buyer. Due to their efforts I am now driving a beautiful Toyota Camry that has exceeded all of my expectations and needs. I am absolutely sure I made the best decision in going here. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other people as I am positive they would have the same great experience I did.

Purchased a car in early June for my son. This price was no bargain and I realized after I purchased I definitely did not get any price point to rave about. On a positive note, they back up their cars with warranty and invest money in them before they put them on the lot. New tires and new brakes were both brand new when I drove away. I would recommend Modern Auto Sales if you are looking for a quality used vehicle but I encourage buyers to be sure not to let all the work they put in the car and the quality of how clean the car is to override the idea of getting a good deal price wise. Thanks Modern for a great car, we do love the vehicle.
