Worst customer service by a long shot. First as i was purchasing a large order i asked for any current promotions for the home Depot credit card, which Im told there was none, which is fine so i purchase everything as i need the items. Then the very next day i receive a paper in the mail for a 18 months no interest, so i go to home Depot on that same day, and ask if they can honor and back date the deal when it becomes active in 5 days. Im told they could not ( they can, and have, called the home Depot credit card and make a request, as I have done this before at a different home Depot. Also on this same visit one of the employees said I could.) So I tell them I would like to return them items since i had not even picked up the materials yet. And so i returned them. Today to make things easier, i show up with a list of items i needed in hand with sku and all. I was trying to order the items today so i get the promotion. I work all day so my only time to go to home Depot is after 5pm. ( Please note, the pro desk closes at 5pm). I show up, and ask to create a list of items to purchase. I explain to the service desk i need to order some stuff, so one of them gets on the computer get ready to start the order, then i say, "ok i have all the item sku, Ill read it and you just add" he asked me how many and i explain its only 7 items, but a large quantities. ( Like 60 2x4s) So he tells me he cant because his computer is"slow" and would take too long, then a second employee repeats the same thing by saying yeah, just come in tomorrow the pro desk should help you. " I explain i work and cant stop by this is the only time i can come" and in response she says " oh just call tomorrow the pro desk can help you" Im sorry if you think I have leisure time to stop by or call home Depot and anytime I feel like it. And Im sorry I was going to make your life a little extra hard by make you type a little more on the computer. You have now wasted my time, my contractors time, and cost me a 3 days worth of work as i wont have another opportunity to come in until Sunday. Thanks home Depot in Tewksbury Im actually going to Lowes as Im sure they are able to order things in the computer and wont affect their slow night chit chat social hour. I will be filing a complain with BBB Thank you P.s. as to prove a point, i was able to download the home Depot app while in The store and add all the items i needed in less that 10min. So apparently a customer trying to buy $1000s of dollars worth of material is not worth even 10 minutes of their time. Thanks Steve and Judy from Tewksbury Home Depot on April 27, 2017 at around 7pm on the service desk.

Racism - I was trying to return two items on Aug 6 and “Anthony” was the Home Depot employee standing behind the counter. The first item couldn’t be returned but the second one, an electric pole saw, was eligible after inspection. Anthony processed the case and asked me the reason why I wanted to return it. I told him it’s too top heavy thus not safe to use. Anthony then said “you have to be strong like a real man to use it”. So a Home Depot employee think Asian males are not real men? This is racism! Improper behavior - He was supposed to be hand me the return slip showing the credit from the merchant. Instead of directly hand me the slip, he wadded it up then handed it to me. I said “what is this?” Anthony said “your receipt”. Threatening – He refused to tell me his last name and was trying to get away so I took a photo of him for future reference as I was planning to file a complaint to him. He then followed me to the parking lot. He then took of his orange Home Depot apron and threatened me. Manager’s malfeasance – I asked to speak to his manager Mike and told him what happened. After talking to Anthony for a few minutes Mike told me he took care of this issue but per company policy he couldn’t tell me anything. He didn’t apologize neither and asked me to leave if I am not shopping. I have filed multiple complaints including BBB and HDHQ.

I have been shopping at Home depot for over 10 years at the Tewksbury location. I cant shop there any longer, there is no customer service, the people working there almost run from you instead of approaching you if you need help, and when you get help there isnt anyone knowledge to answer your questions, feels like the place is 65 old community of workers that just stand around wearing Home Depot vest, just few days ago I was there for almost 20 minutes waiting for help on electrical isle to cut me some 2-2-2 wire after waiting the gentleman said he didnt work there and didnt know how to help me which is hideous for a place like this. many other incidents occurred in between this and my last one was just few days ago when i made a key to my home and got to the house the key did not work. not to mention as I was leaving the person at the register looked like she was having a bad day making me feel super uncomfortable. Lowes has much better service thats my new shopping grounds.

My Ariens snow blower was not running a week before the Blizzard of 2013. I had shopped around with the neighboring people who repair snow blowers...I was at the Home Depot in Tewksbury, MA when I noticed an old Ariens it must have been 30-40 years old..I asked who owned it as my mother had a similar machine. An individual by the name of Brad who works there owned the machine. I knew I had the righatr individual to repair my machine. I rented the truck and brought the machine a week before the blizzard. He replaced the points, condenser and muffler but could not get a hold of the belts in time for the blizzard. I then went to a local distributor and brought the belts to him. I had the machine one day before the blizzard for a reasonable cost. The machine worked perfectly....I highly recommend him and the Teweksbury Home Depot for their professionalism and experience in repairing snow blowers

Cannot stand the customer service in this store. I ordered an item to be shipped site to store once. It took 3 weeks and as many tries to deliver this package to an abandoned gas station 30 miles away. Why? Because the wrong zip cope was in their system. Really? Am I the only customer to site to store ship? And the Customer Svc desk chain had the audacity to have an attitude with me because I was impatient. Well, yeah, sweetheart, because when I finally do come in to pick up this 4 week old shipment that the abandoned gas station didnt want, someone here at Home Depot has misplaced it and now its once again a victim of another search and rescue venture. Yeah, Im a little annoyed.
