Though small in footprint, this excellent used book store is mighty in the number of titles it carries! It has extensive sections of used books, with a well-chosen smattering of new ones as well. There is parking in the rear. The proprietors are extremely well-versed on their stock and happy to help you find exactly the perfect book for a gift or for you to read yourself. Fun fact: the Book Oasis stands just above the site of a former Underground Railroad stop! In addition to all the books, theres a selection of games & puzzles, and beautiful handmade crafts perfect for a new baby or special occasion.

Ive gone here with no particular purpose in the past, end up chatting with the owners/employees for quite some time. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Its a small little shop, with LOTS of books. I can only imagine its the perfect place to find some unique gem you are looking for.

The Book Oasis is a great used bookstore in Stoneham. For the size, its got a great selection. It also has unique gifts and cards (e.g., very cool shirts with standard phrases in Latin). The service is great.
