A great selection of board games and other things (I go for board games). The staff tend to be friendly at the counter and will help you if you had a question. But otherwise, they usually will stay clear to allow you to browse without the added pressure of someone looking over your shoulder. Some may find this helpful, like me, who know what they want and just may ask about a specific game. Others may find it a little offputting if they like help. I havent really need to ask anything other than is x in stock, so I cant talk about the helpfulness or knowledgeable end of the staff, but Im sure they will be glad to help. And Im sure they could help guide your decision. As with any game store, be prepared for MSRP. You wont get Coolstuff Inc or Amazon prices here. But you will get a game to take out and play that same day. And you may find sometimes a game like Scythe is in stock where others are out. Or some prices are close to cheaper places to justify paying a little more for convience.

There are a lot of disappointing game shops out there - places with just one type of game, or with limited stock. But Rivendell is a VERY cool store. They have used books and used games, as well as lots of new ones. And rare dice that I havent seen elsewhere - d3s, d5s, d7s, etc. I picked up a cool dice tower there at a very reasonable price. And they have some *amazing* Gelatinous Cube figures, with embedded skeletons! They almost make me wish I played D&D.

Rivendell is a wonderful store. The restroom is clean and there is a gaming area. The store carries many board games and now just new releases but favorites also. It is one of my first stops when looking for a board game and kids board/card game. Rob carries many collectible card games and D & D as well. He also carries t-shirts, bumper stickers, plush toys, DVDs etc. with gaming themes and loads of many sided dice.

A great place to play Magic: The Gathering! Rob hosts many events at a unit next to his store. Its spacious, comfortable, and a great player environment that is extremely helpful and friendly towards new players. His selection of board games and table top is top notch, and the store has great hours. He sells MTG singles and is always willing to order specific products for you if he does not have them in stock.

Look at the name of the store. Such an awesome name, yeah? Wonderful selection of games and books. Staff is fantastic. The owner, Mr. Laliberte, is cool and awesome, hes obviously got it going on. I mean, have you seen a more likable game vendor? I think not. His son, Gareth Laliberte, is wonderful too. An angel. Basically: go to Rivendell Books and Games if you want to have a good time and love yourself

Rivendell is a great store that Ive been shopping at for years. If its a game or game-related product, Rivendell has it or will find it order it for you! Roleplaying games old and new, books, board games, tee shirts, dice (ah the dice wall!), stuffed animals, tarot cards. You can get it all.

Nice place to find and browse different euro board games. They have different game nights on some days of the week. Recommend for casual gamers or anyone for that matter to check out the variety of games they have and maybe give you an idea of the next game to purchase.

They have it all, and if they dont have it in stock, they do everything in their power to get it for you. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and above all, clearly into games. I would drive for hours to go to this game store over any other.

Didnt know they existed but very grateful I found them. Solid game store, well put together, clean, and quiet. Not some crappy hole in the wall store. I highly appreciated them for not treating me like an outsider like many shops do as well.

found these guys online and went and checked it out. they were really friendly and knew what they were talking about when it came to magic and other games. I think i will be using these guys as my primary game shop for magic.

I love this place! New and used gaming goods, books, dice, cards, etc. They also rent space if you need a place to play. If you dont see what youre looking for, 95% of the time they can special order it for you.
