I purchased a 2011 preowned SUV and had an excellent experience with BDC Jason Glover, Sales rep Yan Gorokhovskiy and Business Finance Manager Shane Tate. I had gone to so many other dealerships that didn’t understand what I was trying to do, and Shane and Yan made the process very simple. I almost didn’t go through with the deal because of my own misunderstanding over paperwork, and Yan reached out to me and had me come in person to talk about what I was confused about. Shane went over information that other dealerships did not, and explaining the extended warranty in detail as well as different types of protection, and also helped clear up confusion that I had regarding paperwork. Other dealers may do the same thing, but Shane was more detailed that most Finance Managers. Jason, the Business Development Manager [BDC], was very helpful by phone and even before the dealership opened on Saturday [5/27/2017] called me before the dealership opened to talk about any questions that I may have had. He even offered the dealership to pick up customers when the car had the inspection sticker. Yan is very friendly, funny, energetic, and outgoing. I enjoyed his humor and he explained as much information about the car that he could and spent an additional 20 minutes helping me figure out the back row of the car, which I appreciated. He offered a choice of driving 15-minutes, whatever comfort level that I had as the driver, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this dealer.

I would recommend going to Volvo of Southborough. I worked with Peter Halkidis who was exceptional to work with. He kept me in the loop during all points of the transaction and followed up promptly with any information that I asked for. The staff overall was fantastic to work with and I got a fair deal. I did have two bumps in the road while working with Volvo of southborough and both were with the finance manager. The first night he low balled my trade in by multiple thousands of dollars after having me wait for an hour to do this. The entire approach taken by him turned me off completely to this establishment but Peter and his demeanor brought me back. After some follow up from Peter, I received a call from Joe (Used car manager) to give me a realistic offer on my vehicle, Which I accepted. The second was that I was promised to have my registration emailed to me so I did not have to drive the 35 minutes to southborough to pick it up. What ended up happening was the finance manager, or someone on his team processed a form incorrectly and used my registration as a way to get me to waste 1.5 hours of my time and gas with no compensation other than my registration which should have been emailed to me. I would have not even mentioned this had they been honest and upfront about their mistake instead of bending the truth to get me to come out. Overall a good establishment with good owners and workers.

After 20 years of Saabs, buying our first Volvo (an XC60) at Farrell in Southboro was our best new car buying experience ever! Following are some of the reasons why. - Multiple test drives without a salesman in the back seat, except when we requested one. - A generous loyalty discount for Saab owners, plus the best price among 3 local dealers. - Objectively and patiently answering numerous questions, some of which were quite technical (I am a retired engineer) and required considerable research. - Quick response to all communications. - Working with us to add options of our choice at cost, with no pressure to add more, right up until the car was assembled. - We wanted the new 2015 DRIVE-E engine, which required a special order, yet there was no pressure to buy earlier models off the lot. - The car arrived a week early and we love it! - We are very pleased with the cooperation between sales and service, who worked with Volvo to install an option left out during manufacture. We look forward to an enduring excellent Volvo ownership experience.

Terrible customer service! Ive had to go back several times to address the same issue, all the while being made to feel it was my fault. They clearly could not care less about inconveniencing Volvo owners who did not purchase a car from them. They told me several parts and services were not covered under warrantee, made me pay for parts and labor, only to find later via a certified technician that the problem was due to manufacturers defect. To rectify the situation, they offered to look at the issue and fix it, "but it wont be for free." In the meanwhile, they offered to rent me a car (for $40/day) saying loaner cars are "exclusively for customers who purchased their car at the dealership" even though the service I paid for needed to be repaired. If I buy another Volvo, it will most certainly not be from Farrell.

I went in to look at a used Volvo c30. I was greeted promptly and allowed a test drive. This was the EXACT car I wanted, a 2008, used with 10k miles.. anyways I go in expecting to talk numbers and have them try to get me to commit but.. they told me to come back tomorrow!!!! I was shocked, granted it was a Sunday but this was a sure sale for them. Most salesmen are very eager and will call you back nonstop but I never heard anything again from the lady who was working that day. It was as if they didnt even want my business. Well guess what, I went down the road and bought a 2010 mazda for -more- money, and honestly Im happy with the decision. GOOD LUCK FARRELL VOLVO!

I would recommend Farrell Volvo to take a few classes on customer service because they desperately needed it. It would be great when you bring your car in for service, pay $$$, and your car would be in good shape when you leave rather than going back a few times to get it all straighten out. And definitely a sorry for your inconvenience would be nice to hear rather than nothing or it is the customers fault. I dont appreciate the attitude and the lack of compensation when Farrell makes the mistake. I definitely would not recommend anyone to taking their car for service at Farrell.

I contacted a number of local Volvo dealers looking for my S60 R-Design. Jeff and Josh at Volvo of Southborough blew me away with their responsiveness and professionalism. They made the car buying experience an enjoyable one, something I never thought I would say. There was absolutely no high pressure sales tactics. They answered all of my questions, and we worked through things at my pace and reached a fair deal. I will recommend Volvo of Southborough, in particular Jeff Lowre and Josh Conly, to anyone I know thats looking to upgrade to a Volvo.

You do not have any right to keep my deposit or even asked me one. Like I said if it wasnt for my Bank which recover it from you, I will be certainly screwed. It is a shame you represent a great company like Volvo because you are a band of crooks using a great Sign to scam people. And Please save us your responses because you are a scam and nothing more. Shame on you.
