I started reading through the ratings on this and was shocked. It is amazing how each of these ratings are a day or two apart and 5 stars. I will give an HONEST rating of my experience with Westboro Mitsubishi on February 4, 2012. I did a search of a 2007-2009 Mitsubishi Outlander which are highly rated on many review sites of used cars. Mitsubishi Westboro happens to have a 2008 in stock. My wife and I called ahead to make sure the car was there and showed up the next day. A Sales man greeted us took us out to the used car. Did the sales pitch which car is your favorite oh well Mitsubishi beats it in this way and that. I had a clip board with a checklist so we could fully inspect the car. He did not like seeing that at all and asked about it. I let him know we are looking at 5 cars in the same year that day so I wanted to keep track of what. We wanted a test drive and he came back out with a second sales guy and told us that he other things to do and would let the other sales guy take over. The security features did not work on the car and the brakes were messed up while driving. Each time the sales guy had an excuse for each of these. After parking and checking the VIN numbers on all the panels the passenger’s side door was missing a VIN number. When a panel is missing the VIN number that part had been replaced usually because of an accident. I asked him about this, he stated that the car had never been in an accident. He also said he had never heard that VIN stickers are usually on all the panels. Liar! The front bumper was missing the VIN and a different color then the rest of the car. I pointed this out stating this was in an accident. Playing dumb nope never has must be something else. He brought out a car fax sheet (just to let you know carfax is a scam) showing me it was not in an accident. It was obvouse the car had been worked on and a door had been replaced I was done with the lies. After he lies and knowing they were trying to swindle us we left right away. I was there once before two month earlier looking at the outlander when the sales guy gave me the speal about a used BMW there that “I better pick this one up now because I have a customer that is coming back to take a second look at this car tomorrow” To be honest the only reason I am writing this review is because I saw all the fake reviews on Google. I want people to know about my experience and would never return. They will cheat you in any way they can, this is one of those shady car dealers always you hear about. Please do not think Mitsubishis are bad cars because of this dealerships, Mitsubishis seem to hold their value and have great ratings on many review sites. Be careful if you do decide to visit this dealership, go in knowing what you want and inspect everything with a fine tooth comb they will pull a fast one over you if they can.

Just a few minutes ago I parked my new (used) car at my house for the first time and immediately couldnt wait to write a glowing review for the dealership. In all my years of buying new and used cars Ive always felt pressured into making a decision either too quickly or making a bad decision altogether. A recent experience where one visit to Bernardi Honda in Natick led to them hounding me with 2-3 calls per day for 2 weeks calling it a follow up. Not the way to get me to come back. I had already bought two brand new vehicles from them youd think they would treat me with a little more respect. Now Ive come to expect a little pressure from all dealers but my visit to Westboro Mitsubishi, in particular Brian left me feeling something unlike Ive ever experienced before with car buying. Despite the process taking a while (because of my insurance company dragging their feet not the dealer) I was made to feel at home for the entire process and always felt like I was Brians #1 priority. This guy has to be the most personable sales person Ive ever met and he was always happy to just sit and chat about pretty much anything so I wouldnt feel like the day was dragging. This is one guy that is deserving of every sales accolade available. The finance department also went above and beyond to get me a financing plan that was reasonable and affordable despite some adversities. I will recommend this place over any other going forward. Despite the distance I had to travel to get there, they can be assured that I will be back when I need to make another purchase. Well its been over a year since Ive had my car, I may have written my review in haste it would seem, initially it was a 5 Star review but over time I have been getting frequent calls to get my car serviced (didnt sign up for robo calls when I was there Im pretty sure). My car was definitely a lemon, they had provided me with a replacement strut during purchase because one was leaking, come to find out they gave me the wrong side. Over the last year I have spent over 5K to get various items fixed and Im not happy about it. Carfax isnt everything it seems. Now of course they continue to bombard me with mailings about buying back my car for way less than its worth which is mildly amusing. I certainly wont be heading back here again, now Im trying to find out how I can be removed from their mailing list.

Robyn is absolutely correct. Today is Friday August 30th. On Friday the 23rd, my husband spent four hours at this dealership. Although the price of the vehicle we have purchased was great, the overall experience was the absolutely worst either he or I have ever experienced. We did not use their financing company as we already had an approved loan through a very well known credit card/loan company. In this scenario, our financial company provides a blank check to be made out to the dealership. We provided them with a decent down payment in cash and the blank check from our finance company. The check was processed on Saturday the 24th and we confirmed with the finance company that it was 100% cleared by midweek. Both my husband and I understand there can be a couple business days delay involved with this. We had the finance company call this dealership and confirm with them the funds were transferred out of their account and into the dealers. This was on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday, my husband called the dealer and spoke with a Brian Roberts to check on the status of the vehicle being registered. Brian advised he would check and call back. Having not heard from him (the initial call was around lunchtime) my husband called them back at 5pm when he arrived home from work. Brian had gone home for the day and no one else could help us. This morning, I called and spoke with Mark Recore who was the typical used car salesman and very condescending to me (I believe because I am a woman - since we know nothing about cars). I asked him several questions and he did not answer - he then transferred me to the GM, Bill. Bill is the Finance GM, not the Sales GM. He was also very condescending. I told him that this was the absolute worst experience we have had with any dealership and he honestly sounded like he was giggling on the other end of the line. We have already paid the dealer the full amount for the vehicle and still are not able to pick it up until MAYBE this afternoon. They expressed no concern for the inconveniences this whole this has caused for us and told us to "feel free to pick the car up if you would like". I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and cannot wait to take possession of the car we have purchased and never have to deal with them again. Terrible!!!
