DONT BUY A CAR AT RIVERSIDE AUTO SALE. I would give zero stars. but have no choice. I bought a 2008 Jeep Sahara for 17 THOUSAND DOLLARS when I returned from Military basic training. BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE WAS GOING TO RIVERSIDE AUTO SALES. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER THE WORST. I AM 19 YEARS OLD WITH A 17K PAYMENT ON JUNK JEEP THAT I BOUGHT THERE. I should have know better to buy something roadside. I bought this to get to my new duty station. I had the jeep 1 day and it started over heating. I brought it back. They didnt even have thermostat in the Jeep. They said they would fix it. I got it back 2 days later. 2 days latter same problem. I explained I needed the vehicle to get to my new duty station. After a long argument and the employee telling me I cant talk to the owner and go F**** myself we dont have to fix anything call your attorney too F***in bad for you. The next day they said bring it back, I did same problem. I brought to a certified Jeep mechanic to see what was wrong and they told me it needed the heads to be fixed, and it has been like that for a long time. I brought it back they said they would fix it. I explained to them I need to go to my duty station, buy the Jeep back, you knew it had this problems. they said no way. I had to pay for my airfare 700.00, wait for my house hold goods for a month which cost me 2000.00. I had no car because they were fixing it. It cost me 1840.00 to get my car delivered to my duty station, and I had to wait almost a month in all total for it to show up. I bought the Jeep so I could tow a Uhaul and save my money and have a Jeep . Well 3 months later I have a blown motor on a vehicle I paid 17k for. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE YOU CAN. I am sure the owner who Identity they wont tell us is, and Ron? will have a good story on how they did this and that. In the end I am out 17k on a JUNK JEEP AT RIVERSIDE AUTO..... STAY AWAY. MY BEST ADVICE. THERE IS A REASON WHY NEW DEALERSHIPS DONT KEEP VEHICLES AND THE ONE I JUST STATED IS JUST THAT REASON. DONT BE FOOLISH LIKE ME DONT BUY A VEHICLE FROM A RIVERSIIDE AUTO THAT WONT AND DONT HAVE TO GIVE YOU A WARRANTY. WONT CALL YOU CALL BACK, TELLS YOU ON THE PHONE TO GO F*** YOURSELF OR CALL YOUR ATTORNEY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. MY OPINION IS STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE 0 STARS..

We bought a beautiful GMC truck from them and Shawn and Dave were so pleasant and helpful!. We were satisfied with financing and price and very happy with our purchase until a few minor things needed to get done(this is where it went sour).... The truck was advertised with keyless entry/alarm but they couldnt find the fobs when we test drove it.. Truck also came with a locking Leer cap, which we were told we would get keys on the signing date along with the key fobs.....needless to say its been 6 wks and nothing. I personally did the leg work for them with a GMC dealer for the key fobs and also with a Leer cap dealer too.(this was done and all info was given to them 2 wks after purchase because we had waited long enough) Next issue and I STRESS use your own garage for inspection, the truck had a bad tie rod and didnt pass, so back again to have it fixed(2 days without) My husband spent 1 hour after work with Dan and Shawn trying to program key fobs of the wrong type only to be disappointed once again, so needless to say I ordered them on amazon for $30 and did it ourselves.. Still waiting on truck cap lock???? 6 wks in and 500 miles before warranty ends and speedometer breaks!!!!! My husband was told they ordered part and to drop his truck off for day and would be fixed. However after picking truck up he was told they only cleaned the components. (no part ordered..hmm??)! I will say other than these minor things(not so minor for the $$ you pay) the engine and truck are great!! I feel that Shawn and Dave have no support from their boss and they are just puppets trying hard to please. Not so sure I would buy anything else from them again. Put 3 stars on rating reluctantly, they really go to Shawn and Dave for their personalities(if thats what you think your $$$ worth spending for). Oh by the way... still waiting for cap lock?????

Total waste of time , all we wanted was the luxury of Air conditioning that actually blows cold air , functioning brakes and quiet wheel bearings . After being assured by Kenny that it was all set we road tested the 2002 Saturn l200 and found the same hard brake pedal , hot air AC and the annoying drone of shot bearings . Once again Kenny said he would take care of it . We wanted to take the car to our own tech for a complete look and they refused to accommodate our request . , within a few hours they backed out of the deal . They expected us to hand over cash and had every intention of weaseling out of repairing issues (with the exception of AC) that are covered under the state lemon law . I have been an ASE master tech for over 25 years and worked for many dealers and have never seen anyplace so shady as this . Say what you want Ron but your agent made a promise and a deal and you backed out . As for our deposit you say the check is in the mail but I am not holding my breath . I am indeed the customer , myself and my partner were buying this car for my niece . I am an ASE master technician and have been in this business for 30 years . The car was not fixed as promised prior to our second road test. The only thing that they agreed to do was fix the AC , to date we have not received the check for $100 . I know that the owner wants to try to make his business look as respectable as possible but the fact is the car had serious issues that dont even pass the state lemon law and he ended the deal when he realized that he couldnt pull a fast one over to women customers . Even his response to this review is dishonest. if you want to shop there go ahead and buy what you like but dont say that you were never warned . Get everything in writing and a receipt for your deposit .

Our experience at Riverside Auto Sales was the service of a 5 star dealership. My fiancés lost her suv because it was hit, so the hunt for a new suv began, we went to Prestige in Westport and I rather have every tooth extracted from my mouth with a hammer than buy a car there. We often drive by Riverside so we decided to go bye and see there inventory from the greeting right down to the congratulations handshake the best service ever. The owner Rich and his team are just the best and made the whole process simple and easy. We told them what we were in the market for and our price range and Riverside made it happen without a bunch hidden agendas like other places give you. We purchased a 2008 TOYOTA RAV 4 and it was the best price you can imagine, but the buck didnt stop there. The salesmen Dan (which by the way is hilarious) gave us his word that the car would be in perfect condition before driving that suv off their lot and indeed it was. The Owner Rich went above and beyond to make us happy, NEW tires, brakes, pads he took the car to Toyota in Seekonk and had what ever recalls the RAV 4 had them fixed, battery even new wipers. This service was better than any big time dealership by far. Then he had the inspection sticker done and just the whole experience was great!!!!!. Riverside Auto Sales is the best pre-owned dealership in the south coastal region hands down, if anyone is thinking about buying a car please go there and youll be very happy like we are. Thank you Riverside!!!!
