Deceitful and dishonest business practices. I went in to replace my car battery. I was first shown a battery, lets call it battery A that had 5 year warranty but the sales person brought another one, lets call it battery B that had 2 year warranty. Since it had the same brandname and almost same price he thought that I would not notice that he got B. When I asked about this, he replied that B is great, is same as A in performance and had 5 year warranty. I asked him to give me a warranty paperwork after he had fitted the new battery. He fitted the battery, I paid and he gave me the receipt "FOLDED" and said "You are all set!". I unfolded the receipt and noticed 2 year warranty and I showed him that. He went ahead and printed a "item description", which you see on their website, of battery A that mentioned 5 year warranty in it. I was confused as I didnt buy A but B. Secondly, he "attempted" to show me the "5 year" warranty by logging in/out of his system 3 times. He exclaimed "See your name is in the system!". I said that my name being in system does not guarantee 5 year warranty and then I looked into his computer screen and noticed "024" under warranty column. I protested and he said and I quote "Ah, thats just a computer generated number!!! You have 5 year warranty". My IQ dropped 50 points! At this point, he was pissed at me for "not understanding". I spoke with another employee who reprimanded ME for not understanding that the battery had just 2 year warranty and not 5!! My IQ dropped another 25 points. I mentioned to him that his own colleague was saying this and not me. He exclaimed "SIR, YOU ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT I AM SAYING!" loudly! I requested him to bring employee 1 who had conveniently gone to the back of the store so that we three can have a chat. It fell to deaf ears. A third employee came and said "Actually, you have 2 year warranty on B as A is out of stock! We can remove the newly installed battery and you can shop elsewhere". I was unsure my car battery had the juice left to drive me to another location, so I had to bite the bullet. Please note that this was not a simple misunderstanding and the first employee tried in every way possible to deceit me by providing me with misinformation, and wasting time (by logging in/out of his system, going at the back of the store and disappearing for 5-7 minutes as I waited at the checkout counter) thinking Id give up. Needless to say none of the employees were helpful. Please be careful when you shop here, preferably avoid it!! Dont fall under the trap of "free battery checkup" and "free battery charging".

Yesterday my Jag blew a tire on Rt 9 near Oak Street in Natick. I was lucky and was able to pull the car into the Auto Zone parking lot. I was wearing a suit so I was being very careful jacking the car up. I had the lug nuts almost off the tire when realized I missed the hard point and the jack started to buckle. Fortunately I reattached the nuts in time. The guys from Auto Zone saw that I was having a problem and brought out a floor jack, quickly reset the car, pulled the wheel and installed my spare. I have always received great service at the store but this was outstanding. Big thanks for their fabulous customer focus.

Ive had very positive experiences at this store over the last 15 years, but a couple bad experiences in the last month with two different employees. The first accused me of stealing and asked me to show him what was in my pockets. The second started helping me find something and misdirected me... not intentionally. But when I came back for more help, he proceeded to put me off to help two other people just arriving at the store. After he skipped over me a third time, I gave up and left empty-handed. I know I can go online much more easily to get the part I need.

Great place for advice and auto parts. Instead of having a mechanic replace a battery in my Honda Civic for $150 I went to AutoZone in Natick, purchased a better battery than the mechanic was going to use and installed it in the lot in a few minutes for only roughly $100. I brought the right socket wrench with to make sure I could install it there. I also purchased a small grease gun to lube my snow blower and they helped install new windshield wipers. In the past they have had all the parts Ive needed and provided good advice.

I was here all the way from arizona visiting my gf with some problems and stopped here. Thomas is awesome. He will help you out with anything he can. In fact, everyone there was great and trying to help us out any way they could. I thought I needed a new battery, or a new alternator, but Thomas tightened up my loose battery cables and problem was solved. I was freaking out about to have to spend a ton of money and all it was, was loose battery cables. Thanks guys! I will not forget you! -Ernesto in the black ford focus SVT

This used to be my fav store, but the current crew is the laziest to say the least. I called last night to get parts, unknown rep ordered whatever they didnt have in stock. Today no one knows who did what, they dont see any orders placed and the parts that they actually had in stock are not there anymore. They used to be able to find misplaced items, but the current crew argues about who has to answer the phone without even picking it up.

This is the only auto parts store in the immediate area. Its fine for maintenance items, like batteries, light bulbs, windshield wipers and fluids. It has a limited selection of everything else and the quality isnt the best. My mechanic refuses to use their parts.

Horrendously long wait to check out, and they were of stock on batteries, simple AA batteries. So I waited 20min to pay for a pair of wire strippers.

Its a auto zone its a place to buy normal auto parts and non oem parts for your car that will probably break a lot sooner then manufacturer parts

Not sure if I went during inventory time but not much on the racks. Found what I needed and checked out fairly quickly.

They often dont have the parts I am looking for, but its a European car. They seem to be good with more popular brands.
