I grew up not far from Mann Orchards (known locally as "Manns"), and I didnt appreciate how lucky I was to have a place like this until I left. Manns is so much more than a "Bakery" as listed on Tripadvisor by default. Manns is a glorified farmstand, now with a bakery and restaurant. So many folks come here for the fresh produce... fruits and vegetables! They also have many other things... salad dressings, wine, chocolate... you name it! But probably the most popular item here is the PIES! The fresh pies are to die for! And while the pies are amazing, my personal favorite thing to do here is buy the Apple Cider, Apple Cider Donuts and some hermits!!! I have to buy those three things EVERY time I come home for a visit. There is a bakery and now they also serve lunch! The sandwiches while not anything fancy, are very good. I dont go for lunch as often as I do for apple cider and coffee. They have tables (beware it gets crowded at lunch time) and my wife and I like to go here and sit and play cards while having apple cider, coffee and donuts. Its fantastic because the ambience is so New England Unique that if a rainy day spoils your plans... this can be its own location for something to do for a few hours. I miss Manns so much and hope to visit again around the holidays!!!

I actually loved the place... until I got an apple pie that had a pie pan that was disgustingly dirty on the bottom. Now I havent been able to get myself to go back. Sorry but food should not be kept in a box with that level of debris on the bottom. Its all in the presentation. Sad part is it was thanksgiving dinner and everyone at the table saw the filth and alerted ne of its problem. So nobody wanted pie. Gee I wonder why?

This place is addicting... Those small pumpkin spice cakes with the sweet sticky stuff in the middle are the best when youre having an awful day. Its nice to find a place thats farm fresh. The caramel apples and quiche are amazing. I also enjoy the cinnamon bread for breakfast every morning. The place is always tidy and the staff are so friendly and happy to be there. Highly recommend.

Always a favorite when growing up. My dad used to bring my brother and I pies every so often on his way home from work. I live in San Francisco now, and I opened up a package to find that my dad had sent me a pumpkin whoopie pie all the way from Methuen. Im eating it right now, and even after a few days in the mail its still fresh and delicious--and nostalgic!

Reason for 3 stars, Kathy the manager loves to mistreat her employees. I dont like the attitude she gives them. Maybe she needs to go get laid and stop being so uptight. She is the only negative thing i have to say about my experience. Other than that, this place is great. #Kathygetsnobuns #youmad?

Good prepared meals and produce. Lots of niche sauces and organic type things. Ice cream stand outside. They have a recurring car show some evenings outside in the parking lot that is popular.

Love this place, but second time in 2 weeks same young man has checked me out. Major attitude. Im sorry he has to work on a Sunday, but he needs to lighten up. Smiling is painless and free.

Second Tuesday of every month there is a cruise night. Theres a dj, hot dogs sausages and burgers from the Boy Scouts and ice cream!
