I was hesitant to shop here due to many poor reviews I read, but I just happened to stop by on my way home from work one Friday back in March 2012. (I had no wedding dress and a June 2012 wedding). I was in the market for an ivory or white bridesmaids dress, even though I am the bride. I quickly browsed the bridal gowns and it seemed like they had a good selection, but nothing fancy or unique compared to other shops. They did have many many dresses and they are all crammed in together. I was okay with this though because I was feeling crunched for time to find a dress and this meant I had many options to choose from (even if they were harder to find and to get off a rack). A sales woman was not by my side instantly, but was attentive within five minutes. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she brought me to the bridesmaid dress area. She knew where certain styles were, so once she had an idea what I liked, I did not have to deal with the crowded racks of dresses. The dress I ended up picking out was one that she suggested I try on, based on other dresses that I liked. The dressing room I used all three visits was the fitting/alterations room. It is messy, has pins on and in the cracks of the floor, and could really stand to be vacuumed. On the plus side, it has seating for two or three spectators, wall to wall mirrors, plenty of space to move around in and places to set down your shoes, clothing, purse, or whatever other belongings you have. My first fitting went by so rapidly, I barely had time to snap picture of "the dress." They can do alterations there. All I needed was cups sewn in and straps shortened. This was a reasonable 45$. I just picked up my dress and tried it on for the second time. I took my time, made sure everything felt and looked good, and took many more pictures. I was never hurried by any one. I do think that the dress maybe could have been a bit smoother looking, but when I asked, they said the fabric will wrinkle slightly again with any movement. Perhaps it was crammed in with other altered dresses and this is why it was not perfectly pressed smooth. It does seem like the shop struggles with having enough space. All in all, I am pleased with the dress selection, shopping experience, and alterations at Bride n Belle. If a bride wants to be catered too and have a sales person at her side helping her the whole way, I may not recommend this shop. If you want a large selection with a variety of prices or have a good idea of what you are looking for already, absolutely check this shop out and ask for help finding your style of dress. They have a huge formal wear and prom dress selection as well, so if I am in the market for that anytime, I will surely return.

Wish I could give zero stars. If you enjoy being treated like a piece of trash, then this is the place for you. The people there have no idea what theyre doing and the owner is a real piece of work. My brothers fiance wanted us to use this place, but from the get go, I knew it was a bad idea. We had to order rush cuts. We knew this and had already been to another shop that provided great information (Precious Memories in Malden). The staff at Bride and Belle tried to get us to buy a dress that wouldnt have come in in time for the wedding and we had to tell her that when she should have know. When we went to order the dresses, the woman didnt want to give me the price that was discussed and I had to argue with her to get it. When the dresses finally came in, they didnt bother to call and let us know. Then came the alterations. My dress is now in for its 3rd set of alterations because their seamstress keeps messing up my dress. And there are now random stains on it to boot! I tried to speak with the owner to request a refund for the alteration fees where I keep having to come back and she started yelling at me telling me theyve spent a ton of time fixing my dress, like it was my fault they didnt know how to sew. She then started yelling at me about my mother saying she forced the staff to show her my brothers fiances wedding dress (during a prior visit), when the bride was with us at the time and said it was ok. When I tried to tell the owner she was mistaken she tried to throw me out of the store. She then tried to say I couldnt come back on Saturday to attempt to pick up my dress for the third time because they dont do that on Saturdays. I told her the seamstress told me to come and that shed be there. So, the owner acted like she was making a special exception and doing me a huge favor to let me come back to pick it up. Never in my life did I expect what happened tonight and I cant believe this place is still in business. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!

Bride N Belle was a nice bridal salon. I chose them for my bridal needs because they were affordable when it came to ordering my dress. They didnt have it in stock to try on, but luckily I had seen it and tried it on at a different bridal store and they were able to place the order. I was super excited to get a good deal on it, and for that I will forever be thankful. When it came to costumer service, I would say it was so-so. Everyone was nice enough, but on the numerous occasions I came into the store, no one really knew my name. At my first fitting, they couldnt find me in the schedule even though I called and set up the appointment. They were able to squeeze me in, which was great, but I had to wait among several other bridal parties for a long time until the seamtress was free. The seamstress was definitely nice and helpful and gave me her opinions on alterations. She didnt seem to be a fan of my bridesmaid that would come with me to appointments to help me make decisions on alterations. It definitely felt tense when we tried to explain what we wanted. They were good about scheduling my appointments at my convenience and their hours were great considering I work full time and had to come in on weekends or after work. In the end, my dress did look beautiful, but the bustle didnt hold at all. The dress was heavy and there were only three clips to attach, which seemed easy, until the day of the wedding when the dress wouldnt hold the bustle and i was tripping all over myself all night. I literally had to hold my train all night long and no safety pin would hold the dress in place. We did exactly as the seamstress said to really squeeze the clips tight, and the dress still fell apart. Several of my female guests kept offering to help fix it and nothing was working. It wasnt the end of the world, but it definitely was an annoyance all night. I would say the people at the bridal salon were nice, the dresses were beautiful and addordable, but the service was EH.
