I used to like the place because they offered good prices and products. The staffs tried hard to be helpful. But todays experience is soooo bad. I wont visit this store again. Just a kind reminder to everyone to go to Best Buy- be very careful with the time frame they allow you to return- one 14 or 15 days!!! not as generous / reasonable as Walmart, Bed,bath& beyond, and lots of other stores. I purchased a power steam vacuum in July. But I got so busy that I cant open the box until two weeks ago. I finally had time to put it together to try it out. The noise of the vacuum was too loud for me. So I decided to return it. I called this morning to make sure that it could be returned and whether I need to disassemble it. The rep checked the date of the receipt and told me that I could return to the store and get the store credit. I asked explicitly whether Best Buy needs to me disassemble the machine in order to return. She said no , just brought the machine and original packing box back to the store.[so far , nice service] I went to the store at 8pm with the box and the machine. The general manager told me that I couldnt return it!!!! This is the first time ever that a store wont let me return a product I purchased!!! He was so rude and said that he saw no reason why he should let me return it !!!! I was so upset - why did your rep tell me that I could return it at the first place and make me drive and carry the heavy machine all the way to the store ?! Let me tell [the general manager] a reason why you should let me return- you want to provide a good customer experience. I wont go back to that store ever again and I will warn all my friends about the bad return policy Best Buy offers.

Car starters are a scam and Best Buy is an implicit co-conspirator. They are frauds. I just had a Viper remote starter installed. Bought my unit online from Best Buy and this is the only store in the area where you can schedule your appointment online. Shame on Best Buy generally for that. The techs were clearly competent but sounded like a calculating used car dealer when saying it was going to be an additional 200 DOLLARS for the parts and labor. Scam #1: all modern cars require an immobilizer which is a $100 part. The employees dont explain that some packages they sell do have this part and some do not, and shame on Best Buy AND Viper for this. The website says between 10 and 300 dollars to install, so people who drive average modern cars should expect to pay closer to the $10 side. Further, the Best Buy geek squad install that youve already paid at least a $100 premium for over the cost of the starter does NOT cover the full cost of labor for a very commonplace car (I have a 3 year old Mazda). Scam #2. Another $40 for advanced install. Apparently Best Buy thinks the average consumer drives a car from 1980 with no computerized components. BALONEY!! Also it was a 4 hour appointment, and took 5 & 1/2 hours to do, and my car was the only one in the bay. I know my car is not immaculate but they also did me a favor and threw my floor mats in the GARBAGE. You dont like my mats while you need to install them, do what PROFESSIONALS do and either put down paper covers or TEMPORARILY remove them. Then they were nice enough to fish them back out for me. Im so disgusted with these practices i wont be shopping at ANY Best Buys for at least 1 year. They are banned to me.

The worst customer service Ive ever seen. I went into this store on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to buy a TV. I knew they had it in stock because I checked online on my phone. It was busy, but it wasnt as bad as youd think. There were several people milling about not doing anything. One guy was talking to his friend and another girl was just standing there moving stuff on the shelf pretending to look busy. I kept asking people to help me, all I needed was someone to get the TV I wanted and I would give them my money. I finally found someone (Mike, maybe) and he did a really good job. But, he was the rare exception in that store. Everyone else is horrible! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of attempting to stop here to pick up something this week. I was picking up a computer that my mother wanted me to buy. I walked into the computer department and of course no one was available to help me. I was standing in front of the computer I wanted for about 10-15 minutes. I kept asking if someone was available because I just needed to get the computer I wanted to buy. Everyone at this store really needs remedial customer service training. I also tried to ask a person at the front to find someone to help me, but he was useless too. I just said forget it and told them that I was going to pick it up at the Marlborough store the next day. I went to Marlborough after work the next day, walked right in, was instantly asked if I needed help and bought the computer in a matter of 10 minutes. Never go to the Framingham Best Buy if you need to find someone to help you.

I bought a new Samsung Zen Book from Best Buy Online. Less than 5 weeks later, the thing crashed. I first tried to find a way to connect with the online support team. Impossible. I would be put on hold for such a long time that I eventually gave up. Once Hurricane Sandy passed I took it to this Best Buy. I went to the Geek Squad area and it took them a good 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, even though I was the only one in line. I finally got attention from a very nice individual who, after testing my computer for over 30 minutes told me it was shot. They could see if they could repair it. They likely would need to get Samsung involved. It could take up to a couple of weeks. That being the case, I said that I would just like to return it for a full refund. He told me that this seemed like the logical thing but that he would ask his manager as they had a 30 day return policy. The manager was totally unpleasant and would not consider a return under any circumstances. Frustrated, I took my computer home. I have tried to get in touch with customer service...Again, never ending wait times on the phone. I can now understand why Best Buy is going down. It is not people window shopping and then buying on line. It is Best Buys people and their service.

We had the worst experience at this store!!! I wish I dont need to give any star for them. We went to the store on Saturday to order the home theater equipment. We were scheduled to have the site survey on Sunday and installation on Thursday. The survey technicians came on Sunday and suggested us to switch some equipment we bought and told us he will come back on Thursday to do the installation with the equipment he suggested and he will bring back the equipment that is not needed. On Thursday, nobody showed up. We called the technicians phone several times and never got a reply. We called the Best Buy Framingham store to check. They have no idea where the technician is. We asked them to double check if our order got changed as technician suggested. We were told we have to go back to store to change our order. We cannot change our order over the phone. We have a deadline to do the installation. We told them on Saturday as the condition to make purchase. They promised to do the installation on time, But now this is just a joke since we cannot go back to their store to change the order in time, they cannot even schedule another installation for us. I have never seen such bad service before.
