I live one block over and my personal experience with Bodega is on a daily basis. I feel reviews should be about more than just the service the business offers. It should also be about how the business fits in to the community and whether or not they make the community better. As for their actual product, Ill keep it brief: they sell overpriced clothing and the novelty of the "magical" hidden door that takes you to the back room lost its novelty in 2009. Bodega is a detriment to the community and the residents of Back Bay deserve to know whats around them. I work from home and I constantly have to deal with Bodega employees congregating in the alley that separates my street from theirs. They park their cars in the alley, blasting the worst kind of music at random hours of the day. My neighbor is a sweet elderly lady who enjoys spending time on her patio and she has to listen to music where every other word is vulgar. Its not right. On our street, we pay way too much in rent to put up with this. They also smoke weed in the alley, yelling at the top of their lungs as they do. Ive been in the store once years ago and there are plenty of places to buy what they provide so theres no excusing the nonsense. I hope the owner reads this because he needs to choose his employees more wisely. Their newest thing is playing football in the alley. Since they cant seem to throw properly the ball constantly goes into my yard or the yard of my neighbors and they feel its ok to jump right in. The next thing I know, I look out my window and theres someone in my yard. NEWS FLASH thats trespassing. Ive called the cops twice about this and Ill continue to do so. One of my neighbors works in the Massachusetts office for the Better Business Bureau and hes more than willing to step in if needed. The ball is in your court, Bodega. Knock off the foolishness.

Ive ordered online for years and years. The selection is fantastic. The collabs are beyond point. I became a loyal customer after the Poormans Weapon with Converse. Ive had packages delivered to Nebraska, Colorado, NYC, and my current city Paris and have always had timely deliveries (except once during that snow storm when the USPS and UPS closed down, Im sure some people have complained about that too. What world do they live in?) and for those complaining about a phone, they do have instagram, facebook, twitter, tumblr AND email... and personnel to account for them. That said, my emails have always been responded to promptly, very professionally and helpful. Honestly I even went to "the famous" Colette store in Paris to buy the Bodega x Lacoste Esteban collab a few years back and *their* customer service was so unbearable that instead of leaving the store that day with it in my hand I went home and ordered directly online from Bodega in Boston and even after shipping ended up paying less with the conversion rate :) Would love to visit the shop some day!

Good selection and average pricing. I found customer service extremely poor more than once. First, THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHONE, which wouldnt be a problem if they actually responded to emails. I have contacted Bodega more than several times to ask questions about products advertised on-line and EVERY attempt I have made has been utterly ignored by the Bodega staff. Because of this this makes what should be an excellent store barely average. I like to shop at places that at least seem to actually appreciate my business and the Bodega is NOT on of those establishments.

The selection of shoes is good, and the prices are not terribly expensive in general. For the most part, the employees are kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the cashier was impolite and refused to slide my credit card when I had placed it on the counter. She made me put the card in her hand instead of on the counter, which was completely unnecessary. In addition, she was also using vulgar language when talking on the phone right when I came up to the register. I am unsure if I will return for another purchase or recommend Bodega to other people in the near future.

Check out process is smooth. I didnt have problems with it. Shoe selection, A+. However, their biggest problem would probably as to how they handle their customer queries. They NEVER answer back on your mails. I have emailed them 4 times just to ask why my shoes hasnt been shipped yet. But they didnt reply to me even once. When they finally decided to look over my concern, they just emailed me the new tracking number without even explaining what has happened. I am amazed as to how unprofessional they handle their customers concern. Not cool.

Bostons best kept secret. Sport the kicks no one else does. Exclusive skips thatll get you so high on footwear that ull fly, not walk, outta the joint. Best entrance into a shopping experience in all of The Bean. do yourself a favor and have yourself a look. bear in mind that after dropping good bank on stellar footwear you owe it to humanity to make a small charitable donation to the worthy future-foward cause of your choosing. visit Bodega a n d donate to some charity = sleep like a baby, baybee.

Awesome lil hidden gem....gotta do your homework to find spots like this. Looks like a convenience store from outside and even when you get inside its a lil Bodega really... Then bam they slide open the mechanical vending machine drinks door and woila its sneaker goodness..... Great spot, great service and lots to pick from.... Ask for some of the hidden gems..... They may not be on the rack..... If your in boston its a must stop for kicks and or clothes.... Ill be back

Really cool vibe in this place! With literally no signage out front this place could be hard to find, but that adds to the feeling of exclusiveness Bodega offers. A big selection of mens and womens shoes and clothing and customer service here was amazing. I walked out with a killer deal on footwear for myself and my kid AND was given a free shirt and stickers for my youngest as they didnt have anything in his size.

When I first walked I thought I would have to look all over the place to find a "hidden" door to a secrete clothing store. Maaaan that door sticks out like a sore thumb, aint no secret. As far as the clothes goes nothing outta the norm, a few vintage shirts here and there and expensive, and you can tell the shirts were used. Traveled all the way from LA to find a place thats "eh".

Great store for sneakerheads and streetwear fanatics. Unique experience walking into the store and one of the coolest stores Ive ever been to. However the employees there are not very friendly at all. Some of them are alright, but there is one female employee who is very rude and makes going there a bad experience. She is the main reason I have not gone to the store as of late.

The place is cool but the staffs are not that nice. Tend to help by judging them from their look. Most of the staffs just stand there and just talking to each other. However, the place is awesome and they got good clothing here. Never come on the day they are launching exclusive sneaker, it is a mess. Long line and they dont take care of their customers.
