Stay away from Easterns! Its been nothing but problems with them since I recently purchased a vehicle. First of all I opted to do automatic payments with them and signed all the relevant forms to achieve this. Months after I received a late payment letter in the mail from the lending company stating that I missed 2 payments. When I called easterns they told me someone forgot to sent the forms to the 3rd party who handles the financial. WHAT??? Whats going on over there? Secondly, I got a flat tire and I attempted to change it, only to realize the car did not have the wheel lock key! WHAT??? Now Im stuck with a flat tire and no key to remove the tire. Worst yet, I have the locks on all four tires. I went in to eastern to let them know the car did not have a wheel lock key and informed them of my problem. The sales rep who sold me the vehicle remembered me and assisted me in solving my problem. He took the picture of the locks and the VIN. He then searched about 5 Volkswagen in their fleet and none of them had keys. He then said he would be back. I waited around for 15 minutes in the car lot and this guys just did not return. I walked back into the store only to see this man sitting at a table and dealing with a customer! Completely left me for the dogs. I asked him for an update and he said theyll be ordering a set and have it shipped one day to the store and hell text me an update. Before the end of the business day I messaged him asking for the update. No reply!. The day after I called. No answer! So I called the store. They forwarded me to the manager JT who then forwarded my call to Mark once he briefly heard my issue. This is where the story changes. Mark said there is nothing he can do about the fact that the keys werent in the car and he has no proof that I didnt take it somewhere and had it stolen! WHAT?? He even had the audacity it tell me go find someone with a Volkswagen and see if the key matches! WHAT?? He then told me he has to come off the phone with me because Im blocking the lines up! WHAT?? What a joke! He kept say I purchased the vehicle a year ago which clearly was not true. People, Mark hung up the phone on me! He said I have to go now and bang!! What kind of customer service is this? Are you guys only nice to people when they are purchasing a car then once that is all done with, f*** them? Clearly thats the case. I will never ever give my business to Easterns again nor will I ever recommend anyone. The worst! worst! worst!

Everything was good until after I purchased my vehicle and then this is when things went down hill. The very next day I noticed scratches all over the vehicle, as it was raining the day the that I purchased the car. I also noticed that all but one tire stem cover was on the car, so I immediately took the vehicle back to the dealer. I spoke with Mark (manager), pointed out everything to him and his response was, "well it is a used car but we can have our body specialist take a look at it on Monday, and as for the caps you can get them from Auto Zone or Pep Boys." Really?? You all couldnt do as much as put caps on the tires??? Following week I spoke with my less than ideal sales representative Larry, to inform him that my mother would be bringing the car in to see if most of the scratches could be removed. He said ok cool! Monday my mother takes to car to the shop and then Larry tried to act as if he had no idea what was going on....and then ironically enough body specialists was out due to another emergency. Next issue I discover some weeks later is that my windshield is not a factory shield and due to it not being properly sealed, it causes water to leak onto the passenger side floor board. This was discovered by Dodge who recommended that I take the car back to the dealership. *sighs* So I show up at Easterns to address the issue with a manager and low and behold, I get Mark again. As Im telling him what the rep at Dodge told me, he asks well how do they know? Well sir unlike you all they actually have specialists onsite at all times. He then says well it should cost no more than 30-40 dollars to seal it. I ask well why should I have to pay for it when it wasnt my fault, and he proceeds to say "Well we didnt do it either"........Im sorry but did you not sell me the vehicle, so that means you are responsible. Long story semi-short, you couldnt pay me to go back there nor will I ever recommend anyone to ever go there.

My first experience was great, until I drove away and realize the food in between the seats of the car I just bought . Even after being told it had been detailed a little turned off but still kept positive. I scheduled an appointment to have the car we cleaned or detailed as I was told it took 2 hours no complaints there I understand things can take time. After my 2-hour event I went to the grocery store to realize that the back window was completely covered in glue. I was incredibly disappointed at this point this is now the second time Ive been told my car was clean and it was not, this always leaves me to believe if in this event they were dishonest what else? I called and complained and got possibly the worst customer service of my life from a gentleman named (whom I will leave nameless) Instead of being understanding he was accusing me of overreacting. He even went as far as to tell me that he knew a good name of a detailer to get my car cleaned at. After coming back to have all the glue remove from my Windows even the gentleman cleaning my car it was nice and understanding, but the Man s attitude continued on. At one point after I politely was trying to explain my perspective of the situation and how I didnt think having a clean back window with a very high expectation. This nameless jerk confidently says " youre right K youre right" and walked inside. I am completely appalled by his lack of customer service, everybody else at the facility was incredibly nice again including the gentleman who cleaned my car. I guess asking for a little customer service after you sign the papers is too much to ask from Easterns Automotive.

Lies, on top of more LIES!!! Im really surprised to see all these 5 star ratings. Glad you guys had a pleasant experience, mine on the other hand was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Business is business and I understand that, but my salesman and one of the managers are straight up LIARS! First of all, tried to cheat me with taxes and adding BS fees. GARRY Salesman (LIAR)said that the car will be detailed because there were a few minor scratches and after I bought it he said that they dont do that there (WTF). And the only thing they will fix is the windows (cracks and chips). Went there twice, test drove the car and came back later to buy it, thats why I didnt bother to inspect it. Garry the LIAR said they would detail it and like a fool I believed him. So I drove off and noticed a small crack on the windshield, txt GARRY the LIAR and he says that it shouldnt cost more than a few $$. So I call their service department or whatever they call it and they tell me that theres only 1 guy that can help me (window crack and exterior detailing), hes name is Ali. But whenever I call, Ali is NOT THERE and he will be coming in an hour or 2. Makes me wonder if its a real person. If youre buying a car there: 1 - Stay away from Garry the LIAR 2 - Make sure theyre not overcharging you for taxes and adding BS (pure air) fees and question and double check all paper work 3. And INSPECT the car, twice if you have to. So you dont have to go through a NON EXISTENT ALI guy.
