The costumer service is deplorable. When I had a question and asked to see the manager, the associate manager was about as rude as he could possibly be without getting fired. He wouldnt take my name, told me to call back for the store manager, and didnt know (or at least pretended he didnt know) when the manager would be in. All this while he walked behind me, as if to shepherd me out of the door. NEVER setting foot in this location again. Ill take the extra 10 minutes of driving to get to the Germantown or Kentlands location.

Friendly staff usually, the only reason I give it 3 stars is because they NEVER EVER have enough people at the checkouts. I dont know if its the manager or that they are understaffed but I use Michaels a the time and have several times waited in line for more than 15 minutes. With 1 person at the registers who also happens to be a new employee who has to get help from someone else. Thus place is pretty great until you get to the checkout. I would not stop here if you are in any kind of hurry.

Great variety of craft and gift items in this store. I like the prices a little more than AC Moore Crafts. The staff however seems nonexistent until you get to the check out lines. The store is for the most part neat. I like catching their sales prices. Inventory of items is decent, but you really have to get to the store at the right time after sale prices are announced. The store could be better organized on their shelves and signs indicating price or sale. -Sam [BOU]

Parking on this side of the center is painful. This store always has a line, and frequently slow. Always check online for cupons, theyre usually good and you can pull up on the phone while you wait. I feel like I spend less money here than AC, the selection larger and usually end up purchasing here. They are excellent with exchanges and returns. Never used custom frames here but have certainly been frustrated with the framing staff at this location.

I know any real artist wouldnt dare say that a chain art store was amazing, but this Michaels is by far the best kept store in the DC area. You wanna go to this location for general supplies, not speciality screen printing ink from japan. It helps that the workers can actually be helpful when your trying to find a particular item. Just stay away on weekends, or youll have to deal with snotty MoCo women, and insane Rockville Pike traffic.

I compare this Michaels to the AC Moores down the street. It is messier and harder to find a staff member. The store space is also a lot smaller and condensed which I am sure affects this inventory and capacity for variety. The sales are great and I feel like they offer a more modern feature of craft supplies.

The service was not good. The manager deleted the money off of my card and I havent been able to get it back in three weeks. I drove to two separate locations and talked to two managers. Both times I went there was only one cashier on duty and the wait was substantial.

they had a supposed 60% off sale on framing. However, it was one of those sales where they raise the prices first then mark it down to a normal price. So, it was a fake sale. Kind of a downer. I dont like having a company trying to trick me.

Your typical Michaels... Hoards of craft supplies, decorations, and anything else you need if feeling crafty. Usually something is always on sale or you can find several coupons online for exactly what you need.

Its super nice there and its really clean! I bought all my copic markers and gel pens from there! This maybe weird....but your store smells good...Maybe because Im 12 idk

Love this store! They always have a great selection of seasonal crafts and great daily deals! The store is always organized which makes my trip that much easier.

You can find what you need despite the customer service. Parking is good, and prices are okay but I wouldnt reccomend this store just because of the employees.

Well stocked store. There was a line checking out. They could use a few more cashier.
