I took my 16 year old sister and my boyfriends 10 year old son the other day. When we arrived the owner was out front, I said, "Hi." But instead of greeting me back he instead sneered. When we got to the door 2 large Boxers greeted us, thats fine if u like animals but what if people dont? It is a business, and I had a child, what if he aggrivated the dog and it would have bit him. They night want to think about that before letting them follow people around the place the entire time. The tanks were bare, there were hardly any fish and the seahorses were gone. I asked a girl at the front desk with the above shoulder dark hair about a tour around where they let you touch weird looking starfish, seacucumbers and a few other things. They did it for my boyfriends sons class in school about a mknth and a half ago. She had a very cold and snide attitude, she kind of chuckled and made me feel foolish. She told me no, that those tours are only reserved for groups and had to be schedualed in advance. I asked her about the tray of things she allowed the children to touch last time and she refused to take at the most 10 minuets to let my sister touch a few strange creatures. She told us we could look around and ask questions, and went back to looking at the computer screen where I assume she looks at Facebook all day and replies back to reviews left, because in a reply on my review it was worded exactly as she said it and she lied and claimed she would have let her touch the things in the tray. After we looked around for 10 minuets maybe because there wasnt really anything worth looking at except empty tanks. On the way out I asked her how much a group tour was, she again gave me the same cold, snide attitude and said that it had to be a large group that we couldnt do it. I left there really disappointed. I thought it would be as fun as the school trip, but clearly they put on an act of being nice that day, I saw their true colors. I believe she needs a new job, and the owner ought to greet potential customers. I have told my friends and family, and I only live right across the highway from them. Tired of these common acting people in this area that clearly dont want to work.

This place is amazing! I cannot say enough great things about Pacific East Aquaculture. When I first went there I was very nervous about starting a reef tank because I had never had a salt water tank before, let alone live coral. The staff was exceptional and extremely patient answering all the questions I had. They are extremely knowledgeable and it is very obvious that working there is not a job to them, it is their passion. I no longer live close to Pacific East but I still make the trip anytime I need anything for my tank, I dont trust anyone else. If anyone wants to start a reef tank or needs anything for their salt water tank, this is the place to go! They also offer tank maintenance so if you are unable to maintain your tank yourself, they will do it for you! This place is awesome, definitely check it out!

Coral arrived very promptly (less than 24 hours, I live 2 hours away). Rachael called to follow up on arrival of the coral and to make sure everything was good to go. Very satisfied with the look and accuracy of the corals depicted on the website. I look forward to taking a trip out to the facility one day to take a look. I will surely order from them again in the near future, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Corals mostly arrived alive, but didnt look even close to the pictures, even after a month. Package didnt arrive until 3 in the afternoon, which was UPSs fault, but still they arent a very reliable company to use. LAG policy is very dubious, and requires you to contact them within 2 hours of arrival of package (even if its held at the office), and will only give store credit, minus shipping.

The corals I received were bright, healthy, and arrived in excellent protective packaging. The company even called to check on my delivery and satisfaction. I will be using them again, in the future. This review was unsolicited and for the benefit of my fellow reefers who want an excellent product at a reasonable price.

Incredible place to buy coral. Their store is very neat and clean. In fact its the best looking fish store Ive ever been to. Their staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And as far as coral goes they have great prices, especially if you use the deals on their website.

One shipment delayed (due to UPS, not PEA) and all corals died. The replacement shipment also had a dead coral upon arrival. Not reliable shipments.
