So unprofessional and untrained! It was terrible! I took my pup to get his nails cut and grinded, and he is a lab/boxer but definitely looks like a pitbull and with the terrible stigma that has, Ive never seen him been treated so unfairly by untrained so-called professionals. The space was much smaller than where j normally took him in Rockville, MD but since we moved to Baltimore this was our closest option. There were 2 very young ladies working and the 1 was eating OREO COOKIES when I walked up and asked if anyone was available. Oreos?!? Seriously?! Choco at a dog store...smart lady. She could barely lift him onto the table (only 47 lbs, small for a lab and a boxer!) and she tied him up as usual but when she went to cut the nails, she didnt sweet talk him or pet him, because she was clearly afraid of him!!! He moves his head towards her hand because shes at his back paw and she immediately jumps back and talks to her manager. Mind you, my pup likes to see whats happening and licks the faces of the usual workers that do this because theyre actually nice to him and arent afraid. Manager comes out to tell me that its a dangerous situation and they cant proceed. I asked if anyone, less afraid and more trained, could do it and she said no its a danger and she wont allow it. Clearly wont be going back there for anything. I left SO upset and sad for my pup, just because doesnt look like a little golden doodle doesnt mean hes not nice. Outrageous.

Just got back from Petco after picking up my 2 dogs. The dogs were there for 7 hours. I think that is ridiculous. When I checked them in, the young help was on the rude side. Already told my husband we werent going back there. Then when we picked them up, couldnt find anyone in grooming to wait on us. The girl finally comes to the desk, hands me my receipt, and theres a $16 fee for "salon services" for each dog. They removed the fee, but the whole experience was less than pleasant. I love my dogs too much to take them there again!

I had my 1yr old ChiPoo (chihuahua x mini poodle) groomed here today. He ended up being banned. I feel as if his Groomer Erica would have listened fully when I tried to explain his sensitive areas, no incidents would have occurred. She did an awesome job on him and his pompom tail is really cute. Other than him being banned and not having the nails on one of his paws completely done (most likely do to the incident) I would recommend her to a person with a seasoned or older pet.

Enployees are very friendly at this Petco, which seems to be rare these days. There are lots of supplies and its a great place to get those. But the animals are not well cared for and the employees should know more about them. A also wish there were more holistic options.

My dog looked most amazing after dropping him off with Heather . She did an amazing job and bones loves getting groomed by her. I would totally recommend heather and petcos to get your dog groomed. Try the scent for boys it smells awesome and lasts a long time.

Great products and the store is really well kept. The staff are friendly and great with my jumpy hyper dog and dont mind potty accidents (tho the clean up station almost never has enough paper towels or cleaning spray).

Rude grooming staff refused to groom our dog because he went blind. Also refused to admit that we had been bringing him there for several years before he went blind. We will be complaining to corporate.

I love this place! Anything pet related, you can find it here. Nice friendly staff, great selection, decent prices, and you can bring your pets in with you when you shop. Whats not to love?

I love all petco because of the reward points. They always have coupons circulating. I only buy science diet and nature recipes. All employees are friendly and helpful at all times.

Fantastic though overpriced. I cant believe $14.99 is the norm for dog shampoo. Between shampoo and conditioner youll be out $30. Oh well. Its your world I just live in it.
