ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I walked into the store 3 employees standing talking at the register and one by the door, no one greeted or acknowledged I just walked into the store. I grabbed my item and went to the register again not acknowledged. I asked if I could put my telephone number in since I couldnt find my Petsmart card. The cashier never said anything, reached over to cancel out the transaction, hit a few keys on the register and the * appeared for me to enter my number. Again nothing said. I paid for the item and she handed me my receipt....my item still sitting on the counter. she turns around to talk to her coworker who also had a customer. I had to ask for a bag to put the item in. Her coworkers customers looked over in disbelief. She put the item in the bag as if I was annoying her. I called the store when I got in my car and spoke to the manager, Im hoping he spoke to his employees about their lack of customer service. As I stated to him Im team Petco and if it wasnt for this one product I wouldnt be in that store and now dont plan on going back.

I volunteered at the cat adoption room from January 2009 to December 2016, almost 8 years. The last year was hell because of a new horrible store manager Jennifer Pulanco. She knew basically nothing about the animals the store was selling and even less about the kitties we were trying to adopt out. Under her, staff hours were cut, so you couldnt find someone on the floor to answer a question. She was really bitchy and the vibe of the store changed for the worse. And she actually seemed to take pleasure in not providing properly for the cats, and she tried to make my life miserable when I kept advocating for the cats. I havent been back even though I heard she left. Hopefully they found a pleasant experienced manager to turn things around.

PETSMART IS THE WORST PLACE YOU SHOULD EVERRRRRR BUY A FISH. WHEN I WENT THERE WITH MY 2 BEST FRIENDS WE WENT TO THE FISH PART OF THE STORE AND WE SAW MORE THAN 50 FISH THAT WERE DEAD AND AT LEAST 30 THAT WERE ON THERE WAY TO FISH HEAVEN IN A DAY OR 2. THE PEOPLE WORKING HERE EVERYDAY ARE NOT PROPERLY TRAINED AND KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT FISH AND THE CARE THEY NEED. I AM YOUNGER THAN THEM AND KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ANIMALS THAN THEY DO. All Im trying to say is PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IF THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN BUY FISH THEN PLEASE TRY AN LEAVE A COMPLAINT SO THEY CAN HOPEFULLY HELP TO CREATE A BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR THE FISH. THEY DO HAVE BEAUTIFUL FISH THOUGH.

We took our Yorkie for a trim, discussed how we wanted his hair trimmed not shaved bald, and when we returned to get him the gal had a head cone on him saying he had tried to bite her. She had shaved him so short and unevenly he was a mess. Half his face was trimmed the other side not. The worst hack job Ive ever seen. Later that night we saw him licking his left side and realized he had been bleeding from all the trimmer gouges down his side. He was obviously in pain. Their salon should be shut down immediately. They allow untrained teenagers to abuse peoples pets and charge $50 for their lack of professionalism! We will never trust them again.

My mom took my Yorki to this groomer today, and they called her and told her that they accidentally shaved off my dogs toe. How do you accidentally shave off a dogs toe? Not to mention, when she picked him up he was still bleeding. So they took him to the in-store vet and they put Neosporan where the toe was missing and slapped a pink bandage on it. My dog is limping and the area is still bleeding. This is unacceptable! A friend of mines had a worst incident here. I guess I shouldve learned from her experience. My dog will not go back again!

The customer service here just gets better and better! The last time we went in there, a gentleman was very kind in helping us find what we needed. This time the same gentleman pointed us in the right direction but at checkout another gentleman was amazing at getting us an additional discount on a product in our cart. It truly makes a difference when I decide where to go because I have a PetCo closer to me in Crofton but it seems worth it to make the drive to Bowie. Keep up the good work guys!! :-)

My dog, Sampson, is 14 years old and has some arthritis issues. He hadnt been in to be groomed in over 9 months because I was worried about him being hurt. Allison, his groomer, took extra time and care with him to avoid hurting his back legs. She was nice when he bit through the brush and thought he was "feisty". She was great to my dog and I would highly recommend this place.

Banfield - I have been bring my Yorkie to this Banfield for 4 years (since a puppy). The entire staff have always been gentle and kind. They always list the recommended care and extra care with cost of each to determine/adjust final cost before providing care services...never blindsided. I am a pleased customer and continue to return for routine visits.

Awful! Awful! Awful! The grooming department at this location should be closed. I took my Shortie there for a face trim, after 10 mins they overhead paged me to return to get him. The groomer stated he moved around too much and she couldnt do the job. What kind of professional groomers are these people????? Save ur $ and time and go elsewhere

Awful I took my Bichon Frise there and got back a jack russel. They shaved ALL of his hair off . The groomer didnt call to let me know she was doing that. When I picked him up I was shocked she said he was very matted what could I do I took my dog and left. Ive been going there for over 7 years I will not be going there ever again.

I bring my dog in there to get a bath and they where so disorganized. It took me 15 minutes just for them to take him to the back! In the begining, I called to change the appt and he wasnt even on the books!! They did a good job with bathing him but the people who work there have no idea what they are doing as of customer service.

I bought a $15 fish there and it got ich 2 days later. I ended up spending more than the cost of the fish in treating it, because I wanted that particular fish (distinct coloring and markings). When I went back to the store 3 weeks later, every one of their tanks still had visible ich infections on the fish.

This store is horrible. I took my pet to get a picture with Santa and never received it. I called 4 times even with a promise for a return call. No one ever called. They did tell me however to come back the next day. Worst customer service ever. I will never visit this location again. Very disappointed.
